WSTM Chapter 34 - Do It Elegantly
Helena immediately wandered her body when she arrived home, trying to erase all her memories of Damian and the poor woman.
He did not want to be rash, did not want to give up and did not want to lose. He was well aware that he was far above the woman.
After bathing Helena even deleted all the photos of Damian she had taken, Helena would choose to pretend not to know about the relationship, then secretly destroy it slowly.
"Excuse me Miss, the lady asked you to come downstairs for dinner together" said a waiter who came to Miss Young Helena's room.
"Tell them to eat first, I already ate outside," Helena replied in a lie, at this time she has no appetite at all.
"Okay Miss" the waiter replied, resigning and exiting the room.
Back there alone, Helena decides to contact Megan. Not too close, but they know each other. Helena wanted to make sure of one thing, if Megan ever met the woman.
"Hello Hel, your tumben called me, what's wrong?" megan asked on the other end, her lips smiling sideways as she saw a call coming in from Helena. It's nothing, but all this time Megan actually hated the woman enough.
Helena who is always arrogant, Helena who always claims that she is the only woman Damian. Helena always thought she was the perfect one.
But now that Megan has an ace, only Megan knows that Damian has a girlfriend. And the woman was not Helena, but Ains.
If you remember this fact it feels like Megan wants to laugh out loud in front of Helana, but unfortunately she can not do that because Aldian asked her to keep making this matter a secret.
"No, I just want to know that it wasn't yesterday that you had dinner with Damian, Al and Marcel. Is there anyone other than the four of you?" ask Helena. She was able to tell because she saw Megan's post on social media.
"Nothing, we just went four. Why the hell?"
"It's okay, I just want to know."
"Why don't you come? Damian didn't take you, did he?" ask Megan quipped.
"Oh," Megan replied briefly, then gave a smile holding back laughter. "Actually not four of them either, because after finishing eating Damian met a woman," said Megan began fishing, she liked the commotion. Especially looking at the angry Helena.
"What do you mean?"
"There was a woman who came to us, she was Damian's friend. We didn't get to know him, but when they met the two of them immediately hugged each other," Megan lied, even at the end of the sentence sounded a small oddity. A sign that he is holding back laughter.
"I know you're lying" said Helena, then cut off the phone. It felt impossible that Damian had brought the woman to meet with his other friends. The woman Megan was talking about was definitely not the woman in the store.
"I shouldn't have asked Megan" Helena murmured, instead of getting an answer but she became upset.
Helena then came out of her room when it was felt that both her parents had finished dinner. He faced his father in the study.
"Pa," call Helena as she enters.
"Hel, what's wrong, son?" ask papa Joe Pedrox - Helena's father.
Helena then sat in front of her father, they were hindered by the desk. "I want papa to speed up about my engagement to Damian. Talk to Bastian and Aunt Jilliana."
Papa Joe smiled when he heard his son's request, "Sabar Hel, you are also young. Why the hurry?"
"At least just talk about it first, I also want to hear how Damian responds."
"Well, soon I'll set a schedule for us to meet with the Lynford family" replied papa Joe.
The answer made Helena very calm. Yeah, do it elegantly Hel. Damian is yours. Get Damian out of that cunning woman, the poor treasure-seeking woman.
