Chapter 38: Surprise Behind the Mist

After passing through the ordeal in the Sacred Valley, Xiao Tian and Hao Yue continued their journey towards a place called the Fog Forest. A thick and mysterious fog surrounded the forest, creating a dark and gripping atmosphere.

When they entered the forest, they immediately felt a different aura than before. There was an invisible presence, as if something was quietly observing them.

Xiao Tian: "This Fog Forest is so mysterious. I feel like there's something hidden behind this fog."

Hao Yue: "We must remain vigilant. The forest is full of unexpected surprises. Take care of your mind and prepare yourself for whatever we're going to face."

They stepped deeper into the forest, following the faintly visible traces amidst the thick fog. Their every move was filled with tension, as they did not know what was waiting behind the fog.

Suddenly, they come face to face with a group of mysterious creatures called the Mist Dragon. The creatures had scaly skin and dazzling wings. They encompassed Xiao Tian and Hao Yue, ready to head them off.

Xiao Tian: "Fog Dragon! We have to be ready to face it."

Hao Yue: "Their strength is so strong. We must work together to defeat them."

The battle began, with the Mist Dragon attacking with mesmerizing speed and power. Their attacks shot out from within the fog, making it difficult for Xiao Tian and Hao Yue to track their movements.

Xiao Tian: "Hao Yue, look at that! That...it is the Jewel of Light!"

Hao Yue: "Certainly? It's the thing that can change everything. We have to be careful."

They approached the altar with great caution. As they observed the Gem of Light, suddenly a mysterious force stopped them.

Mysterious voice: "You guys who dare to try to take the Jewel of Light, who dares to disturb the tranquility of this cave?"

Xiao Tian: "(with respect) We came with good intentions. We want to use the jewel of light to overcome the demons who want to destroy the world"

Hao Yue: "(with respect)Senior...Pardon me!.We don't want to steal, we want to protect the world and use it for good."

They crossed a deep abyss with astonishing speed and agility. They passed through a trap filled with traps that threatened their lives. Each test tests their skills and determination.

Xiao Tian: "Thank you. We will use this power wisely."

Hao Yue: "We promise to protect and use this power for the good of the whole world"

Spiritual Entity: "Remember, true strength comes from within, from a sincere heart and unwavering determination. Keep your trust, and you'll be true heroes."

With those words, the spiritual entity disappeared, and Xiao Tian and Hao Yue retrieved the Jewels of Light from the altar. A bright light emanated from the gem, filling the cave with a dazzling glint.

Xiao Tian: "This is the expected moment, Mei Ling. We will use this power to keep the peace of the world"

Hao Yue: "Let's go back and face the challenges that await us. With this power, we will bring justice and peace."

With the Jewels of Light in their hands, Xiao Tian and Mei Ling left the cave with a strong determination. They know that their task is not finished, and there are still many obstacles and enemies that they have to face. However, with their newly acquired Light power, they were ready to face everything that awaited them.
