Xiao Lu let go of his embrace and rubbed the reddened cheeks from Prince Chen's cries. He also rubbed the tip of Prince Chen's eyes that were ready to spill back the clear liquid.

"Not crying. Lulu didn't really say that" Xiao Lu said.

Prince Chen nodded again with still a slow sigh. He tightly grasped Xiao Lu's waistcoat.

"Then, Lulu comes home first huh? Chen also had to return to Chen's residence. Tomorrow, Lulu will take Chen for a walk. How's it?" Fresh Xiao Lu who was reciprocated by an enthusiastic nod by Prince Chen made everyone chuckle amusedly.

Xiao Lu, before boarding the carriage, he approached Prince Chen who was still pouting. He then hugged Prince Chen and kissed his cheeks making Prince Chen's face reddened and a smile appeared on his pouting face earlier.

"Well, if you smile like this, Chen becomes more handsome," Xiao Lu said, making Prince Chen widen his smile.

"Your Majesty Consort Mei, Lu'er said goodbye" Xiao Lu said to her future mother-in-law, who was returned with a pair of trunks.

"Don't call me that. You are my son-in-law. So call me mother. Understood?" Concubine Mei's words made Xiao Lu smile sincerely at Consort Mei.

"Good, mom." Nodding obediently Xiao Lu made a satisfied smile imprinted on Concubine Mei's lips.

After saying goodbye, Xiao Lu took the carriage. After that, the Ahn family left the palace area with strict guard.
