6. POV: Dimensions (1)

Dimas falls in love with Rani at first sight during a radio birthday show set near the boarding school where he seeks knowledge.

Dimas always contacted Rani until she graduated from the boarding school. Even though he graduated, Dimas stayed at the cottage for a while while waiting for job vacancies for him from relatives or from people around him who he knew.

But the info he was waiting for did not exist, finally he decided to go home and enjoy a relaxing time at his home which he had not been able to enjoy because of the busy activities in the boarding school.

Rani sends a message or SMS to Dimas which invites Dimas to come to his house and meet Rani's father.

Once reading a message from Rani to meet her father, Dimas did not stop training so as not to be nervous when he met later. Not only shocked, Dimas was also confused to say how in case asked why to approach Rani.

Until finally arrived at Rani's house, over thinking it was lost because it turns out Rani's father is so good and friendly not as it seems. Judes's face with the brew makes Dimas panic and nervous before finally being greeted first by Rani's father.

Their chatter is quite long, their taste is also almost the same. Dimas went home because his mother had been waiting to go to his uncle's house.

"Assalamualaikum" said Dimas when he reached home

"Wa'alaikumusalam, have you been to Rani's house?" ask Mama Dimas

"Udah Ma"

"Where? Not nervous?" ask Mama curious

"Gugup lah Ma, where his face sangar, but fortunately very good people, friendly again"

"Thank God, have you got an ijo dong lamp?" mama asked her to tease her second child

"What the hell is Ma" said Dimas shyly "Judah come to my uncle's house?"

"Yes, come on" said Mama, packing

"Oh yes, there is a greeting from the same father Rani's mother"

"Yes, salamin back" replied his mother, continuing to smile

"Where is Ma?"

"So there is still work so have not come home" said Mama who then rode the Dimas motorcycle

"Oh.."

A week later Dimas went to the boarding house again, because his close friends would hold a meal and they planned to stay a week while helping the lodge manager to teach.

1 week had passed, Dimas who was chatting in the afternoon got news from Rani.

"Dimas." said Rani while holding back her tears as she was about to deliver the news of her father's death

"Why Ran?" dimas asked in shock because he heard Rani crying

"Dad died." continued Rani who finally could no longer hold back her crying

"Innalilahi wainnailaihi raji. You who are steadfast yes who are patient, later I have tahlil here with my friends."

"Yes Dim, thank you"

"Yes Ran, you don't empty her stomach. Must eat ya."

"I closed it"

Dimas called his mother and told her of Rani's death. Dimas asked Mama to resign tomorrow and Mama agreed.

For seven consecutive days Dimas attended the ceremony at Rani's house, Dimas came sometimes with his father, brother or sister, or sometimes he came alone.

*1 year later..

As long as Rani enters the school again, Dimas has got a job but is still around his house because he only works in a workshop to help his uncle. Even so sometimes he skipped work, because he thought it was his uncle's workshop so he was free to enter or not.

In addition, Dimas deliberately has not been looking for work out of town because when he met Rani Dimas' father asked to look after Rani. It's been like a sign Rani's father went far away. Without objection Dimas agreed.

Until finally Rani got a job in Jakarta, Dimas helped deliver it, and for a while Dimas hitchhiked at his aunt's house in Jakarta. The distance from his aunt's house to Rani's inn is quite far, but Dimas still escorts Rani when Rani needs her help.

Dimas finally got a job that was not too far from where Rani worked. After a month of work, Dimas returns home to take his motorcycle to town, so he can easily travel with Rani and not have to borrow from his aunt again.

At the end of 2012 Dimas picked up Mom and Alea at the last bus stop because they wanted to visit Rani while celebrating the new year in the Indonesian capital.

The relationship between Rani and Dimas has been long enough, Dimas wants to immediately marry Rani and Rani's mother also asks Dimas not to linger dating let alone wander together. I just don't want bad things to happen. But Dimas felt his salary from his job was not enough to save, in the final months of 2014 Dimas ventured to sell spare parts motor online. At the beginning of the business Dimas smoothly until he ran out of spare parts stock, money collected from the proceeds of his sale he turned to buy spare parts stock again.

Years changed, the longer his spare parts enthusiasts were not as much as they used to be and his business began to be quiet. Eventually Dimas sold his spare parts stock at a loss, which was important to sell as Dimas thought. Even the slashing price was not enough for the wedding fee, Dimas asked Rani to help Rani persuade her mother to borrow from the bank.

"Darling, my money is still not enough for our wedding. My salary also can not be sandeled for tubing, you know yourself." lamented Dimas to Rani

"How serious? I don't have much savings either"

"Emmm... What if you ask Mom to help you make a pinjem to the bank? Said your mom if pinjem likes easy liquid?" wheedze

"How will we pay it?" ask Rani

"Yes yes" replied Dimas with his leisure

In early 2016, they got married. The wedding is quite luxurious (to the standards of the village) because of the agreement of both parties, namely the Rani family and the Dimas family. It was because the two were the first to hold a wedding in their extended family.

They start to squeak every month. Because they have been paid earlier than the guest envelope they invited. So their installments are finished sooner and just pay the rest.

2 Months after her marriage Rani was positively pregnant. Dimas was so happy he would finally have a child. Her first daughter was born in the middle of the month of late 2016.
