Qiu An immediately ran to retrieve the sword, but the Nine-Tailed Fox was blocking. The fox hit the ground and produced a loud bang.

The security guards of Fangxi Village who heard the sound of a bang immediately accelerated their movements. Qiu An instantly jumped up and spiked on a tree branch that was strong enough to withstand his weight.

"Heh, do you think a human like you can defeat me? Very funny!" the Nine-Tailed Fox. Qiu An paid no heed to the ridicule from the Nine-Tailed Fox and only put on a flat yet cold face. It made the Nine-Tailed Fox angry at feeling ignored by Qiu An.

"How dare you lowly humans ignore me?! I'll teach you a lesson!" said the Nine-Tailed Fox growled. He was preparing to tear Qiu An apart.

Her normal eyes turned red. A powerful black aura surrounded the Nine-Tailed Fox. His body was also enlarged and 2x larger than the previous one.

Qiu An looked up to be able to see the Nine-Tailed Fox. He looked at her coldly and fearlessly. "So you still haven't given up too after seeing my current look? No why. You will definitely be scared after seeing my current strength!" the Nine-Tailed Fox.

His voice echoed throughout the forest. The low-level beasts and spirit beasts that were there immediately ran out of the forest after hearing his voice.

Qiu An put on a colder face and looked at his sword which was far away. His fingers were like thread out, yet it was much larger than thread and transparent.

The thread slowly elongated and moved towards Qiu An's sword. "I think your strength is mediocre. What is your power?" said Qiu An intentionally wanting to provoke the Nine-Tailed Fox to buy time until the thread could be wrapped around Qiu An's sword.

"Heh, you think I don't know your plan, huh?! I know you're deliberately stalling for time." The words of the Nine-Tailed Fox surprised Qiu An. 'So, he knows my plan?!" cry Qiu An in his heart. "...you deliberately buy time so that I don't finish you right away, right?!" continued the Nine-Tailed Fox with confidence.

'Well, I guess he knows my plan. Apparently, he doesn't know!' inner Qiu An breathed a sigh of relief. "Hahaha, do you think I would do that? You are joking! Where possible!" said Qiu An pretending like he was covering something up.

The thread from Qiu An's finger had touched his sword and stayed a little longer to wrap around that sword. Qiu An moved his finger so that the thread would be faster to wrap around his sword.

The Nine-Tailed Fox felt that something was wrong with Qiu An. He saw there was spiritual energy coming out from Qiu An's fingers. He followed the gaze of Qiu An who was staring at his sword.

"So you're looking for a way to take this sword? Before that, I will break that sword! Ahaha!" the Nine-Tailed Fox. His hand was about to touch the sword, yet he saw spiritual energy binding the sword.

"What?! So you...!" the Nine-Tailed Fox Speech was cut off. Not yet had he had time to react, Qiu An instantly drew the sword. The sword darted rapidly and scratched the cheek of the Nine-Tailed Fox.

Qiu An ran to one tree to another like walking on a tree trunk with a position of 90°. He aimed his sword and scratched the Nine-Tailed Fox in the part he could reach.

"How dare you scratch my body?! Feel the consequences!" said the Nine-Tailed Fox furiously as it opened its mouth wide with its head turned upwards. An energy gathered into a ball shape and continued to gather until it enlarged.

'Is that his US card? It seems like I am so great that the Nine-Tailed Fox used her true strength' Inner Qiu An with the corners of her lips raised. He was content to be proud of himself.

He released that energy ball and the energy ball shot towards Qiu An quickly. Qiu An in position was ready to wait for the arrival of the energy ball.

He quickly jumped onto the branch of the tree that was above him when the energy ball almost hit him. The energy ball hit the tree in front of him and made the tree instantly scorched with smoke coming out from the ashes.

The energy ball was still darting rapidly and smashing into the tree behind the tree that was now already reduced to ashes. The energy ball shrank even more after hitting many trees.

Qiu An could see that the tree that had been behind him was now charred to ashes. 'Is his strength this strong?! Can't it be if I can win this fight?! There seems to be only one way! I have to wear the last way!' inner Qiu An secretly admired the strength of the Nine-Tailed Fox.

His gaze had now turned serious and was no longer as playful as before. His pitch-black eyes were seen intimidating the creature with deep-red eyes in front of him.

"Heh, you already know my powers, don't you? Now, you won't be able to beat me!" said the Nine-Tailed Fox with indignation. Qiu An held tightly to his sword.

In the middle of it, there was a Nine-Tailed Fox but a small body was trying to block it. Qiu An who wanted to go down broke his intentions and was on standby.

He was confused by what the little fox was doing. Why does it seem like he is trying to get in the way? Qiu An's mind kept spinning, his mind was trying to figure out the answer, yet he didn't find the right answer.

'Did this little fox know of my plan, so he tried to block it out so that the Nine-Tailed Fox would not resist and I would not have to resort to the last resort?' inner Qiu An. "No more! Stop now! Have you forgotten your main goal?! Why would you want to kill someone who has nothing to do?!" said the fox who had changed into a child.

"Nothing to do?! You know, he was the one who was in the same area as 'that man'! Then you said there's nothing to do with it?! Don't block me! Move, or you won't survive!" snapped the Nine-Tailed Fox furiously. However, the little fox was not afraid of the gaze directed at him.
