46. Karen's Business

Today Karen came to Davies' company to take Jason to lunch. It also happens that today he is on a photo shoot holiday so he can use his free time to meet his fiancee.

Karen walked in with a smiley step. Karen always tried to behave like that because she was a famous public figure. Jason wondered why this Karen in front of him looked so sweet. Usually in the past, every woman who came must always talk about their marriage or else Karen pestered Jason's wedding to accompany him shopping.

Jason was certainly lazy to respond to a noisy woman like Karen. Karen is very possessive of Jason. Every time there are women who are close or even just chatting always get scorn from Karen.

Forgetting Jason's silent response when offered lunch, Karen brought her face closer to Jason. Karen's eyes closed wanting to land her lips with Jason's. Jason was speechless difficult to digest with Karen's attitude. Jason spontaneously turned his head to the side so Karen could only kiss him on the cheek.

" why? " ask Karen with furrowed brows.

" I'm busy working. Now get out of my sight. It's not good to see people later," Jason replied holding a strange feeling in his chest. He's a normal guy who's almost tempted by a sexy woman like Karen.

" You're rejecting me? Am I not pretty enough? " ask Karen again in a relaxed tone. Jason is surprised not usually Karen goes sweet to him. Usually the woman will be angry when Jason does not comply with his wishes.

Karen held onto Jason's shoulders tightly. Karen looked at Jason to look at him. Jason tried to break away but Karen's gaze did not allow that. Jason glued to see Karen who had brought his lips closer in front of Jason's own lips. Jason was silent when Karen's red lips began to touch toward his still clenched lips.

The door opened and a woman came in. Jason and Karen looked directly at the door. Jason was surprised because the one who came was Lala.

Jason spontaneously removed Karen's body until she fell on the floor. Karen was complaining of the pain of landing on the floor unethically. Karen stared intently at Lala and Jason in turn.

Jason chases Lala ignoring Karen's call holding her back to stay in the room. Jason comes out of his room and meets Niki who is ready to bring some documents.

" Fuck, that woman again. Why is there always someone bothering me with Jason. In vain I pretended to be graceful in front of Jason earlier," grumbled Karen flickering some dust on her shirt after falling due to Jason's thrust earlier.

Jason returned to his room. Jason stepped onto his desk to retrieve the file. Karen tried to hold Jason's hand to talk to him. But Jason brusquely brushed off that hand. Jason continued his steps to exit the room.

" Where are you going, Jas? Our business is not finished. Don't play go that way, Jason" said Karen.

Jason stopped his steps and turned to look at Karen. Jason walked up to Karen and stopped right in front of her. Karen smiled and Jason returned to her. But shortly after that Jason stepped again to pick up the pen that was on the table beside Karen standing. Karen stomped her feet annoyed that Jason left again without leaving a word.

" Surely you bow with the catering woman. I won't let her take you away from me" Karen murmured inwardly. He was determined that whatever it was would keep Jason with him.

Karen left Jason's room because there was only herself in the room. Karen chooses to leave but has not gotten herself to the elevator, Karen meets another woman instead of Jason's usual secretary Luna.

" Who are you?" asked Karen in a haughty tone. Karen squinted her eyes, investigating whether this woman would also be her rival.

'' I'm Mr. Jason's new secretary, miss. I am the one who replaced Miss Luna who has resigned," replied Niki politely.

Karen only ber oh ria heard the explanation from Niki. Karen also introduced herself as Jason's fiancee.

" I'm Jason's fiancee. Work well. Watch Jason! Don't let any woman approach her" Karen told Niki.

Niki was polite. It turned out that Lala said if this boss and his best friend really did not have a relationship. Jason has Karen as his fiancee. Then why is Mr. Jason so kind and treating Lala like a lover. Niki was confused by herself.

'' Have you seen Jason? '' asked Karen who had started to be friends with Jason's new secretary.

'' Mr. Jason is on his way to a meeting outside miss,''

'' You're not coming?'' ask Karen again.

'' Meeting is still an hour away, so I want to prepare some files first, '' answered Niki accordingly.

'' So Jason avoided me by going to a meeting that had not even started yet, Karen's inner heart.

Karen leaves without saying goodbye to Niki after hearing Niki's answer. Karen's been patient this long enough to see Jason's behavior. Karen will act to warn the catering woman who has managed to disrupt her relationship with Jason.
