49. Store's on fire

Early in the day Jason woke up when his cell phone rang. Jason's cell phone rang several times and was very deafening to Jason. Jason woke up and picked up his phone.

Jason's mouth clenched tightly after hearing what had happened. He turned off his phone and rushed to the closet to change clothes. He had to leave now because of the news he had just received. Jason rushed to the elevator. In the elevator Jason pressed the basement destination button to get to the car park. He must arrive soon to know the real situation.

Jason drives his car very fast. No matter what time it is, he must arrive at his destination soon.

Jason opened the car door after parking the car carelessly. It's been said Jason doesn't care about anything other than getting to his destination. Even today Jason only wears a plain white shirt with a combination of black material pants and home flip-flops.

Jason's mouth gaping to see a building engulfed by the red whiz. The building, which is a shop owned by Lala, has now been successfully extinguished by the fire department. Although not entirely, some of the shops are already flattened with land.

Jason was really surprised when he heard from Fernando who had called him. Fernando said there had been a fire in Lala's tavern. Fernando got this information when one of the TV stations was airing a nightly news show.

The shop is already burning. There was nothing left but small flames that occasionally splashed as they had not been extinguished. Around the area bustling residents, firemen, police and also some media crews looking for news material.

Jason began to approach the tavern which was already in the yellow line by the police. There were no casualties from the tavern but the condition was not worth mentioning as a building anymore. Jason walked over to the police and firefighters who were clearing up a lot of mess.

" How did this happen, sir?" jason asked the police on duty.

" We cannot be sure yet. There are some residents who say if a fire arises from this store stall," explained the police as he pointed at Lala's shop stall.

Jason nodded in understanding. After the policeman he was questioning left, Jason took the cell phone in his pocket to contact Fernando. Jason called Fernando to do his own investigation. Jason could not confirm if this incident had anything to do with people who want to disturb him or not.

'' Hello Fer, how is it?'' ask Jason who was in his call with Fernando.

'' Sir, the men are conducting an investigation, Fernando replied.

'' Please report to me in the morning! Waiting for the police too long, Jason said.

Jason ended the call with Fernando. Fernando is swiftly running the task of Jason.

'' Is this the woman?'' inner Jason guessed.

Jason decided to leave the place to meet someone. Jason believes the man has something to do with the problem with Lala's shop.

Jason's car drove rapidly towards a luxury house in a residential cluster. Modern-style luxury house with bonsai decoration in front of it is a house owned by Karen. Jason has been here a lot but very rarely comes in. He'd be here if he happened to drive Karen after we left together.

Jason often saw this old man in front of him with Karen. But he just found out that he also lives together in Karen's house. The man had not spoken a sentence until Karen came to greet Jason.

" Who's visiting, um ?" ask Karen who just followed. Karen is seen waking up just like the man Karen called her.

Karen glared at Jason visiting her house in the early hours of the morning. Ignoring the drowsiness, Karen lets Jason in. Jason himself ignores the bouncy middle-aged man leaving not wanting to disturb Jason and Karen's time.

'' What's up, Jas? Tumben you're here at this hour?'' karen started the conversation. Karen sits on the couch in the living room of her house with Jason still standing. Karen slightly justified her open nightgown. The cream-colored spaghetti strap is very similar to Karen's skin color.

'' What have you done to Lala? Yesterday you sniffed out information about him and his son. Now that you made him wretched, is that true?'' jason to the points is right on Karen.

'' I don't understand the direction of your conversation. You mean what?'' karen didn't understand what Jason meant.

'' Until I find out you did bad to Lala, I won't hesitate to ruin your life Jason warned.

'' Jason I really don't understand the direction of your conversation. Sit down and explain what you want, said Karen calmly no matter if she was being threatened Jason.

'' I want to end a relationship that I never wanted to have in the first place. Thank you for accompanying me for two years. One thing you should know I've never been interested in you though,''

'' We both benefit from this relationship. I avoided getting married by the public and you gained your popularity. Now I just want to end this. I've found the best person for me and the one that's definitely not you,''

'' Jason you can't just decide me. I can't accept you'd prefer that catering woman over me. Aren't I prettier, more successful the point is more than anything. I even want to do anything for you. Marriage is in sight. I don't want to break up with you. If you force a break up, I will be determined to harm the woman and her child, said Karen did not accept.

'' I myself will protect them, Jason replied after that leaving without saying goodbye to Karen.

Karen slammed the vase in front of her as soon as Jason left. The voice was so rowdy that the middle-aged man who had just come back.

'' What the fuck is you Karen! Banging vases carelessly, '' the nagging middle-aged man.

'' Jason severed my relationship with him, said Karen.

'' That jerk has gone too far. Go early in the morning only to get angry is unclear and break your relationship. You better just give up. Let him go. Perhaps he is indeed not your match, replied the middle-aged man.

'' I won't let that happen. Just look at Jason, I will make your life unhappy for dumping me, '' Karen exasperated.
