True Martial Arts

True Martial Arts
Golden Eyes

"When, I knew you would have a hard time believing what I was going to say later. But listen carefully and do not reject it. Kala, you're a Garuda Knight."

Kala's forehead frowned in astonishment. He did not understand the meaning of the old man. "Knight Garuda?"

"Yes." Yeah." Akhza took a deep breath. "You know the Garuda legend?"

"I knew. Isn't that the big bird in the fairy tale?"

"When the bird did exist and was true, not just a mere fad," he said, "it used to be, an age when chaos was everywhere, when martial arts was famous but misused, he said, the war raged. There are no rules. Everyone is free to kill if they don't like it. Death at a young age becomes a very natural thing and does not need to be discussed again at that time. A young man sees that this chaos will be prolonged and if not immediately stopped it can threaten the safety of all humanity.

"The young man also saw that there was not enough intention to stop this war. As a result, after careful thought, he decided to enter the world of martial arts. It is not easy actually, and people think that the young man is crazy to stop such a big war in the archipelago.

"His talent is good and his determination is strong. He succeeded in stirring the martial world almost throughout the archipelago. He is known as a kind and helpful person. Despite his nature, he did not hesitate to kill the wrong person. He is also known as the 'Blood Thirsty Dove'.

"Thanks to that martial art, he managed to live over 1,000 years!"

"Is he the Garuda? How can a human be called a bird?" tanya Kala felt that the legend was stupid. Akhza smile.

"This is the most incredible part, Kala! The man found a new finding. He managed to unite himself with his pet eagle who died from being harvested while sending a crucial letter."

"So she can live together with her pet. Not only that, he became even more extraordinary and powerful.

"In the heyday of youth, the archipelago returned to peace and serenity. People understand how much peace is worth than chaos. And that half-eagle-man was nicknamed 'Garuda', somehow.

"Some say that time is cruel, it is true. Garuda died of age. Nusantara quickly returned to its basic nature which was like a wild animal. Within seven hundred years after Garuda's death, peace in the archipelago was slowly lost. War is becoming common again." Akhza took a long breath.

Kala took a long breath. He is also saddened by the nature of the human being. Greed, dissatisfaction, and a desire to kill. It is all the passions that rule over man, which should be subdued not made master.

"Before the Garuda left the world, he left a legacy." Akhza enthusiastic. "Talents and all their advantages will be inherited."

"Bequeathed to whom?" ask Kala quickly.

"Bequeathed to you." Akhza smiled as he patted Kala on the shoulder.

Kala was back in his place. It's still hard to make sense!

"Only the universe has the right to choose who will inherit it."

"And why should I?"

Akhza grinned. "The universe has chosen you!"

"Where do you know?"

"I've seen the sign." Akhza pointed at Kala's eyes. "So your eyes are gold like Garuda!"

"Ah, where is it possible. My eyes used to be normal" he said, "can I borrow a mirror? Can grandfather bring up a mirror?"

"Sure!" Akhza flicked his arm. A small mirror was in his grasp. Kala was no longer surprised even though he had not been given an explanation about this, before he had seen Akhza take out food easily.

He got up and accepted the mirror. He raised it as high as his face, then scrunched his forehead.

"Ah no. My eyes are ordinary." Kala shook her head when she saw that her eyes were not golden, but ground brown.

Akhza laughs. "Try gathering all your mind to the midpoint between your eyes."

"Just do it, then you'll see for yourself."

Kala nodded slowly. He closed his eyes. His forehead began to cringe. His head felt heavy, and the point between the two eyes was sore. He wanted to touch his head with his hands. Akhza soon sees that Kala is having problems. He immediately gave orders.

"It feels like that. Don't touch your head first. When you feel your body floating around, just open your eyes."

Kala tried again. The first few seconds Kala only felt light dizzy, before finally becoming dizzy was unbearable. His fingers clenched, trying not to touch his forehead. He felt like he was circling in the dark.

This time his body really seemed to float without pulling down. He barely felt his presence in the room, but rather a vacuum.

Enough, this should be enough!

Kala opened her eyes hoping that her body would still be in the room. But there was one that was quite surprising: his eyesight was getting sharper. Either it was just his feelings or this was indeed different from before. But the longer, the more certain Kala was that these were not his eyes!

He could even see the ants in the corner of the room very clearly, even he saw the feathers of the ants. This sharpness slightly disturbed Kala, he was not used to this vision. But I must admit, this is amazing.

"Now you look in the mirror" orders Akhza.

Raise the mirror again.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Eyes changed! No more ground brown as usual. His pupils were infinitely long, looking like translucent orange agate. In the middle of the pupil of the eye there is one more circle of brown—Kala can see it clearly—which looks faded.

In other words, there was no change with eagle eyes! Kala guessed this was why he could see sharply. Eagles are so sharp with their eyesight that they can see chicks under a tree. This left Kala amazed and in disbelief that he could have eyes like this. When he almost jumped up in excitement due to this vision, the mirror was almost thrown.

"Now do you believe?"

Kala nodded enthusiastically. A child of his age would love to have different and more colorful eyes, he hardly cared about the Garuda Knights that had been talked about.

"Well, you can hide those eyes by doing the same thing. It's better now that you hide it so that other problems don't arise."

As Kala closed her eyes, though still wanting to linger with her new eyes. However, it is better to follow Akhza's advice. He believes that special eyes he can wear again.

Suddenly the door was knocked. As he closed his eyes and gathered thoughts like that, he did not want his eyes to be seen by unknown people, could be stolen.

"What's wrong?" Akhza gave a flat answer.

"Master, it's late and it's dinner time. Would you like to eat at our inn? We're presenting a special treat for tonight" said a woman outside the room.

"What's that?" ask Akhza from the room.

"There are some foods that contain spirit animal flesh, sir. We got it this afternoon from a hunter's swordsman, so it's been confirmed to be fresh and highly nutritious."

"We're going to find food outside, doesn't that matter to you?"

"It's not a problem, sir. Then, excuse me." There was a light step away from the sign of the woman moving away after saying goodbye.

"Well, Kala. Let's go out looking for a nice shop." Akhza. After all he had told a long story for a short time, so that his stomach felt very hungry at this time.

Kala nodded shamelessly, he felt that he had saved this grandfather from the cold in the Loro Twins. You can pay for good food again.

He had not seen the outside world for a long time. It would certainly be very pleasant to look at the magnificent city buildings that he had never seen at the foot of the mountain. Kala was full of enthusiasm tonight!
