Saving Kaia

Kala split the crowd quickly until it finally reached the middle of the crowd. A girl in new clothes but full of tears wept, almost half naked.

I quickly ran in front of the girl. He pulled out a blanket and covered the girl's body. Kala's hand shook violently withholding emotion, but she still said softly to the girl.

“Kaia, keep quiet here. Don't be afraid, there I am.” Kala rubbed the girl's head slowly. “Stop crying.”

Now that Kala was looking at the sea of masses in front of him, his murderous aura burst out but was not directed at Kaia. “Good. You guys want money or to strip this girl? Let's solve all these problems.”

The citizens wanted to avenge Kala, but the fear of holding her back, this made Kala have a chance to speak again.

“Which touched her even if it was just a hair, came forward before me. Now!”

No one moved, even exhaling slowly. This instead made Kala even more furious, slowly a thin fog shot out from his body and spread into the sea of masses.

“Forward now or all of you dead. This mist can explode at any time if I want, you guys can be roasted monkeys right now.”

The entire mass broke out in cold sweat, beginning to regret their decision to come here which only put lives at risk. If no one advances, then be prepared to become charred meat.

One person was seen shouting from the crowd, he came to Kala with a frightened face. He was a man who did not look good in his clothes and looks.

Five other people followed; faces of fear but also looks not a good person.

“Alright, six is enough.” Kala smiled kindly then whispered slowly, “be prepared to die.”

Kala chuckled softly while the six people were getting drenched in cold sweat.

“Kaia, where's the weapon I gave you?” tanya Kala who was answered by Kaia's head. “Not to be afraid, just say it. I'll protect you.”

Somewhat long ago, Kaia said in a stammer. “Taken ... I .. I don't know, but it's gone.”

“Good.” Kala nodded her head and placed her broken sword beside Kaia. “Kill them.”

Kaia who was still sobbing shook her head. Not until the heart kills them. With this condition, Kaia can only forgive them even though she does not know why she was attacked.

“Today, you must obey me. Kill them.” Kala's tone began to rise, the citizens were getting cold sweaty while Kaia shook her head.

“Ah, okay. If you don't want to kill these six people, then let me kill everyone here.” Kala smiled widely. “That dare to step away just one step, then it's the same you cut the queue, let me kill you first.”

Kaia continued to shake her head while looking at Kala with a pleading face, but Kala wanted to be tough today. For some, Kala's actions are inhumane because they force a clean-handed girl to kill. However, no one understood Kala.

He let out a long sigh, took out his broken sword then took Kaia to her feet. His entire murderous aura had already been drawn and made the masses breathe a sigh of relief.

“I know what you all mean judge this girl. This girl is my friend, and I'm a fugitive. You guys almost harassed him just for the money? Is money the only thing that can make you peaceful? What if the only way to peace was to embrace the Wrestling of God?

Kala led Kaia out of the crowd. The crowd instantly stepped aside, creating a passageway for Kala and Kaia to exit. There were only those who stared him off without anyone daring to move.

“You are innocent, stop cursing yourself.” Kala tried to calm Aditya who kept apologizing from earlier.

“No. I deserve to be punished. I've been remiss to make your friend hurt."

“Alright, I'll punish you. Uphold your body and stop apologizing, this is punishment.”

Aditya did not know what to do, but in the end he himself stood up and stopped crying, this was his punishment. Kala smiled warmly before dissolving again into his mind.

As Kaia and Kala left the crowd, three princes appeared from above hurriedly and declared themselves as envoys of the Progo Inn. They pleaded for Kala and Kaia to return to the inn immediately until the conditions returned to be conducive, they guaranteed security while inside the inn.

When they wanted to return to the inn, they were escorted by three other princes. They had already searched Kaia and Kala throughout the city and had just met here, at least that was what they said.

Kaia is in the medical room at Progo Inn. His physical condition has been treated, but he has suffered tremendous trauma. Kala tried to talk to him, but the healer said to leave him alone until nightfall.

Aditya continued to stand in front of Kala with his head lowered. Kala invited him to leave for reasons that were not disclosed.

I need some alone time too.

Aditya then went and added to look for her when she needed anything. Kala started muttering to herself as Aditya left.

“Alang, I hope you can be my advisor this time,” Kala said to Alang on his shoulder. “Kaia is a good girl, but she hasn't had peace yet. You know, don't you? Demon Eye Crystals will take his life faster.”

“Eak?”

“The problem is, is it with revenge that he can achieve peace? Or should I take her to a comfortable place and give her peace?”
