Unconditional Marriage

Unconditional Marriage
Chapter 09

A long journey for several hours to the destination city, Pram and Mitha spent just silence, while thinking about what was in each brain.

Before long Pram said, "My son has special needs since childhood, his current age may be your age, but he is not the same as you."

Mitha was silent for a moment when she heard this remark from Pram, she started thinking about meeting her son Pram for the first time after several years as his employee.

To be honest there was a bit of confusion in his mind about it, but Mitha was typical of people not wanting to interfere in other people's affairs.

However, it is only natural that he was curious about the man called Pram as Alden, who was none other than his son.

Though of the many things that Alden has, for Mitha he is perfect, handsome, tall, still, even if Mitha is honest Alden is a little more handsome than Tama.

"I'm sorry to know, what kind of sick son are you?" mitha asked later which she did not want to guess.

Then Pram answered Mita's question that Alden since childhood has been diagnosed with severe autism, although in fact Alden has repeatedly done therapy, but until now Alden has not been cured.

Pram said that he and Mama Alden have tried their hardest, but have not succeeded. Eventually they decide to leave Alden at home, treated while homeschooling.

"For 28 years I've been trying to keep Alden from many people, not to be ashamed, just that I don't want people busy taking care of Alden's life," pram said while trying to end his story.

Mitha did not know what to say, so she could only keep quiet while listening to Pram's story. Though he had always thought Pram did not have children, because Mitha never knew.

However, if in fact Pram has a special needs child, Mitha understands the reason why Pram tried to cover it up and make everyone think that he does not have children.

"But it seems Alden, so according to the same Father," Mitha said later.

"Only certain times, if the time is chaotic then I will be difficult to stop it, you know that children with special needs like he has his own world," Pram explained again.

Mitha now nodded in understanding with the words from Pram.

It is also difficult to have a life like Pram, so Mitha is now starting to understand why Pram often looks angry.

Although Pram often said that work and home should not be combined, but if the problem is as heavy as Pram's may be natural.

"When it should be as long as Alden he was married, but which woman would like to be with him," said Pram. "Do you want to marry her?"

"Huh? What does that mean, sir?" mitha asked stutteringly, she herself was confused by the question from Pram who suddenly and seemed ambiguous.

"I'm just kidding, there's no way I'm gonna let you marry my son. You're a healthy woman, it's gonna be hard to take care of a man like Alden."

Although Pram was joking, but Mitha was even awkward herself. Let alone that, in one car with Pram, Mitha was awkward let alone chatting and joking so.

Even Pram himself even though he called it a joke, Pram did not laugh at all, just did not smile.

Then their conversation ended, until they finally focused on themselves.

In the car that was just the two of them, a state of silence without any conversation, other than the roar of the engine.

The journey was long enough that they finally arrived at their destination.

"I want to book two rooms" Pram told a hotel receptionist.

While there, they will stay at one hotel and of course they will be separate rooms.

Actually it was one of the new experiences for Mitha because all this time she had never participated in Pram to do work outside the office because it was her job as an audit who had to stand by in inside office.

However, then Mitha finally realized that coming to work out of town did not hurt I could also while on vacation enjoy a fun job.

As soon as Mitha reached the room she immediately threw herself down because for a few hours in the car generally felt bone pain and her joints must be stiff.

In such a state Mitha while opening her phone, checked if there was any incoming message. It turns out that there were from Tama and also the Mama, who both asked her how she was.

Mitha alternately replied to him and said that everything was fine, she arrived safely.

Even though he had to lie to his mother, Tama had to talk to her.

Under such circumstances somehow Mitha recalled about the remark of Pram who said that Alden should get married.

Actually there is no harm, because indeed Alden is quite mature, although it has limitations, but if Pram really wants Mitha to marry Alden it is like an impossible thing.

Many reasons he had to refuse, not only did Alden have his limitations, but he also still had a lover and was already intending to get married.

After all, he had just met Alden for the first time and had no feelings for him.

Although it was indeed Pram saying that it was just a joke, but Mitha was still thinking about it.

The next morning after breakfast, Pram invites Mitha to review the land to be used to build a new branch and at the same time meet with big investors in the Pram company.

"The new assistant Mr. Pram," the Investor told Pram, Mitha heard it very clearly.

"No, Sir. My assistant is usually on leave, this is another employee" Pram said.

"Oh, this is prettier than usual, more steady as it seems."

Mitha who heard that she was being praised, she commented a bitter smile. The conversation between two rich people was no more like a conversation between fathers in general.

There was probably about an hour more when the meeting ended, Mitha and Pram passed from there.

Mitha just followed Pram from behind while carrying some files and also a bag.

"We had lunch first, I know you're hungry and tired" Pram said.

They headed to one of the restaurants, not far from the meeting with the investor who was in his office.

Soon they got there and ordered each meal.

"Usually when out of town like this, I take Siska, but more often my wife if Alden's manager is there, or he is not busy working at his restaurant" Pram said. "Especially if in this city, because I feel like I'm home, because my family lives here."

Mitha listened to Pram's story while nodding, as she did not know what to do. They both enjoyed the food that was in front of them.
