Vampire Aedes

Vampire Aedes
64. Malaria is not DBD

The Seventh Prince's cold hand gripped Aster's tiny wrist, making the girl stunned for a moment then look up. The door handle he failed to reach. In this case, he would not be able to wash his hands. The Seventh Prince frowned observing Aster's movements.

"Where are you going?" He asked as he pulled the girl's body into his arms. Aster could feel his shoulders colliding with the Prince's chest.

"Get out, wash your hands. Hatsy!" Aster shuts his mouth in time.

"This time you're not dirtying anything but your hands, are you?" the Seventh Prince's sarcas. Meanwhile, Aster's nose had already run off. Fortunately the Seventh Prince allowed Aster to leave on condition of the Prince's guard. The man sent some mosquitoes to follow Aster.

"Hah ...," complained Aster heard a disturbing ringing sound on the side and back. However, the girl continued her steps towards the source of the flowing river current. It took a lot of effort to reach the bottom of the river.

It turns out that down there really flows river water. Despite the pitch dark, Aster can see sparkling water splashes with the help of moonlight. Can't wait for his hand to touch the turbulent surface of the water as if welcoming Aster's hand. Cool and fresh, these two sensations made Aster pull the corners of his lips involuntarily.

Aster's feet splashed into the river water that was not too deep, only knee-deep. Aster cupped the river water, then washed the water to his face to make it fresher.

"Hatsyis!"

Aster lowered his head, holding back the sneeze that was about to come out. His eyes were focused on his toes which were very clearly visible. If you look around, the river water in the Floating Kingdom is so clear. Even Aster can see the red flow that flows following the flow of the river.

Deg.

Aster gulped. In the next instant, he again noticed a fairly faint red stream but it slowly became increasingly clear. This different level of viscosity, it was definitely blood, right? The girl looked around. There are only black trees without leaves. It is almost impossible to hide the shadow of the body behind a tree trunk that is not lush, unless the person is a representative of the soul.

"Who is that? Out!" aster shouted after the last leaf on a tree fell into the water. "Seventh Princess?"

The black nails stroked the pale lips, the very contrast of the red marks dripping from his mouth, it seemed like he had just eaten a 'hunt'. The Seventh Prince's twin sister stared flatly at Aster with dark red pupils. The girl in front was just speechless letting Aster's thoughts run amok.

"Position brings prosperity. The trees face autumn. The river water is red. Souls carried by the stream of life, may they survive death."

The fourth verse recited by the First Prince is again spoken. Somehow the Seventh Princess' expression looked pitiful. "Are you-"

Aster had not had time to solve the question, a group of mosquitoes on the side and back of the girl fused into the form of a black blob, then raised the figure of a boy aka the Seventh Princess' twin sister. The Seventh Prince blocked Aster's gaze by standing in front of the girl.

Aster looked down at the cold hands of the Seventh Prince, then his eyes turned to look at the river water that had changed in total color. Aster's pupils shrink. Red everywhere, making his legs weak.

"Ugh, da-blood ...." Aster almost fell if only the Seventh Prince did not catch him. "Thank you, Prince. Can you take me up? The river water looks terrible now."

Prince Aedes nodded, then with wind power moved Aster's position while protecting the girl from the Seventh Princess' gaze. Here Aster began to digest whatever had to do with the fourth verse, the waters of the red river, the fall, and the Seventh Princess. As hard as he thought about this, his mission was to save someone and he was sure that person was aiming at the Seventh Princess.

"Let's go back, Prince. N-are you hungry?" ask Aster gurgling. Inexplicably stopping the Seventh Prince's anger seemed to make him look like he wanted to protect the Seventh Princess.

As for the Seventh Prince, he was indeed very hungry. The reason he was looking for the girl was because the alarm in his body made him realize that he had to drink Aster's blood. However, why was it possible to meet the Seventh Princess here?

Ah, the Seventh Prince forgot that every night his brother would come out of the palace and look for prey. She looked at her twin sister again. "Come back when you are full, Princess Aedes," said the Seventh Prince, then in a blink of an eye brought Aster back to the Third Princess' hut.

"Hatsyis!" Aster sneezes without any attempt to close anything. He was busy thinking of an answer to so many questions as to why. Why save Seventh Princess who is the mother of DBD virus?

"Hatsy-!" The girl stole an eyebrow when the Seventh Prince closed Aster's nose so as not to remove the virus.

Aster turned his face away and snorted violently. "You're outrageous! Sneezing is something to be grateful for because not everyone can sneeze. If it doesn't sneeze it doesn't feel good to know!" enragedly.

"Whisper!" sentak the Seventh Prince. Aster's nose gets red every time he sneezes. Somehow it made the Seventh Prince bring his face closer, preparing to bite Aster's nose.

Unfortunately, the girl ran away as the Seventh Prince showed fangs. He was looking for the Princess when as a shield. "Third Princess, what are you doing? It looks very busy? Cycy too...How can I help you?"

The two brothers looked strangely at Aster, while the girl who was under the supervision of a male mosquito could only put on an awkward face. "I'm sure to help," he added.

The Third Princess sighed. "We have both managed to find the cause that plagues the Floating Area. This is what caused the residents here to die after being sick for days. So you don't have to help anything, our next job is just to find herbs that can treat the plague."

"Gee, congratulations! You two have worked so hard so far" Aster praised as he clapped his hands. "If you can tell, what virus is it?"

Although Aster already knew that the cause was the dengue virus, he still asked for the sake of stalling his time with the Seventh Prince.

"It's not a virus" Cycy replied.

Aster lowered his head, returning the gaze of the albino little girl. For a moment his mind was empty. "What does Cycy not mean by a virus? Aren't the population infected with the dengue virus?"

"What virus?" ask the Third Princess. Aster did not answer for fear of being wrong. "After we examined it, it was not a virus, but a parasite called plasmodium. Plasmodium infects insects, then infected insects transmit it to humans through bites. These parasites will later multiply in the human liver so that humans are in pain and die."

Aster just smiled hearing an explanation that he did not really understand. However, the most obvious conclusion is that the death of residents around the Floating Palace was not caused by the DBD virus. During this time, Aster thought, the main cause of their death was the work of the Prince or Seventh Princess of the Floating Palace. The fact that they represent the soul of Aedes Aygepty makes the negative prejudice grow bigger.

"Then what is the name of this disease?" ask Aster curiously. If not dengue, of course it means not dengue fever.

The Third Princess seemed to be flipping through the records. "Ah, this disease is called malaria."
