CHAPTER 2. Larietta's Decision

Larietta who continued walking down the corridor to Duke Boulois's office stopped at a large door in front of him with two Knights standing on the left and right sides with well-built bodies and a flat facial expression.

“Dad, did you call me?” asked Larietta with an elegant demeanor.

“Come in!” duke Boulois replied coldly.

The knight who heard the command opened the door and let Larietta go inside and saw Duke Boulois sitting looking at her intently.

The Duke of Boulois, Claus Lorca Boulois, the Head of the Boulois Duke Family who was three from the Duke Family in Chillia Kingdom and was a Third level Magician.

Larietta who could not bear to see the intimidating eyes of Duke Boulois staring at him in the other direction and glanced at the familiar woman.

‘Melisha? Female protagonist in this novel!' think Larietta's fast.

Melisha who was standing to the left of Duke Boulois in a pink dress with a sad face and sad eyes made Larietta feel something was wrong.

Larietta who did not want to feel the same as her previous life being shouted at in front of everyone while not doing anything wrong raised her head and looked straight into Duke Boulois' eyes despite the feeling of fear enveloping himself.

“I haven't forgotten anything and I remember everything!" larietta said firmly.

"I also remember my duty as the Sole Daughter of the Boulois Family and that is why I did not agree to Miss Valcov's request!” answer Larietta with confidence.

Larietta who glanced at Melisha who was beside Duke Bouloia became surprised when she saw Melisha look very enjoy the moment Larietta was scolded.

'Wh-What is this? Where is the Good-natured Woman described in the Novel?' ask Larietta to herself with the big question.

The Boulois duke who had not received any excuses from Larietta had in fact decided to sentence Larietta.

“Don't talk like you're thinking of Duke Boulois's good name! You're just looking for excuses because of your selfish nature!” quip Duke Boulois in a derogatory tone.

“You will still be punished! You can't leave your room for a week!” duke Bouloia resolutely with a cold facial expression.

Larietta who did not want to be seen defeated in front of the people who wanted his downfall still maintained his elegance.

Larietta who left the room with a straight back, raised head and sharp eyes as if announcing rejection of her defeat

Melisha who saw Larietta could still smile widely as if she felt nothing after being punished became upset.

'Shit! What the hell is going on?' melisha asked inwardly with her hands clenched hard.

Larietta who returned to her room was lying on her bed with blank eyes while staring at the crystal lamp that was displayed above her room.

“This punishment is not too bad at least I can think about what really happened and determine the next step!”

Larietta who remembered the different facial expressions on Melisha got up from her bed and opened a book containing information about the novel she had written and questioned Melisha's true personality.

Larietta, who found no answer after flipping through her notes several times, took a deep breath and decided to find another way to unlock the mystery.

“I didn't find anything that could help. Everything tells of Melisha's kindness, but Melisha's attitude makes me debate the contents of the novel!" murmured Larietta with her hands on her chin

Anna is Larietta's Personal Servant and Anna is also Larietta's right-hand man in committing a crime to harm Melisha.

Anna, who was born on the streets and helped by Larietta, feels deeply indebted and decides to devote her life to Larietta, even willing to sacrifice her life for Larietta's safety.

Larietta, who remembers Anna's loyalty to the end, is happy when no one is by her side.

Anna, worried that Larietta would be saddened by the punishment of Duke Boulois, decides to comfort Larietta with a few pieces of cake.

Larietta who saw Anna's excellent attitude towards her felt better then made an offer to Anna who was the only person on her side.

“Anna! You know everybody's attitude towards me, don't you? This residence is not a house but a hell!" larietta said with a smile.

“No-Nona.." said Anna who immediately changed her expression to sad.

“I feel like this is not my place and I want to go find a place where I am appreciated and loved. Therefore, do you want to come with me?”

Anna, who had made Lariett her Master, did not need to take the time to answer the offer.

“Nona is my savior and Miss who has given light into my life. If Miss isn't around then there's no point in me living!" anna was convinced of her decision

"I want to go wherever Miss goes! Please Miss, take me with you!” said Anna with a clear face.

Larietta, who never thought she was precious to others, wept and Anna, who did not want Larietta to cry, quickly wiped away the tears.

"Miss is not alone here because no matter what happens I will always be with Miss!" hold Anna with determination.

Larietta who seemed to hear the tranquilizing words she expected when her life fell apart was smiling happily.

Meanwhile, Melisha who knew the point of weakness of Duke Boulois also used it to appease Duke Boulois.

Melisha who ran to the front of Duke Boulois thoughtlessly knelt on the floor crying to the point of making Duke Boulois feel sorry.

“Mr Duke, forgive, Mel! It's all Mel's fault. Mel is guilty! Melisha shouldn't have asked Miss Larietta to take Melisha to the party!" melisha said while crying.

“Melisha please Mr Duke! Don't punish Miss Larietta! Miss Larietta is innocent! It's all Melisha's fault!” melisha said with a sad face.

“What are you saying? The floor of this room is cold. Stand up!” duke Boulois said sadly.

The Boulois duke, who did not want to see Melisha's tears, tried to calm her down and said something she thought was the truth.

“This is not your fault. Larietta is immature! You don't have to cry or beg for Larietta's release because Larietta has to learn a lesson about her actions!” firmly Duke Boulois while taking a deep breath.

Melisha, who heard Duke Boulois' words, wiped away her tears and turned a sad expression into a cheerful smile.

“Is that Mr Duke?”

“Of course. You don't have to think about Larietta. Go back to your room and rest!”
