CHAPTER 30 WISDOM AND LEARNING

Abah and Umi left the room after Fatimah told him that Larisa had come to see him.

Abah's body is actually not fully healed to start the activity as usual, but Abah still forced to meet Larisa who came all the way just to visit her.

Umi had initially forbidden Abah to wake up, but Abah insisted on rising from her bed to meet Larisa.

Umi deliberately did that to Abah because she did not want if her husband would drop if the move was too long.

Plus if he met Larisa, automatically Abah will sit for a long time just to say hello and talk with him, even though the doctor has said if Abah must rest completely so that his health can recover.

Abah walked with Umi's help by holding his hand.

Arriving in the guest room, you saw that there was also Ardian who came to visit him.

Abah smiles at Ardian and Larisa, seeing two people who have delayed his son to bear the title as a wife.

But Abah is not his name if he does not forgive the mistakes of others.

No matter how wrong others have done to him, Abah will try to forgive him, Abah considers there is always wisdom and learning from an event, be it a good or bad event.

We don't know if what happened was good or bad for us, because something bad wasn't necessarily bad for Him, and vice versa.

We humans can only accept the decree that God has destined for us, accept something with a spacious chest even though it is bitter and very heavy for us to accept.

There is no point in holding a grudge against someone, it will only make us more hurt, so we better forgive each other so that life becomes more meaningful.

Larisa and Ardian got up from his seat to see Abah walking towards them with Umi at his side.

"Assalamualaikum Abah, Umi"

Larisa then kissed Abah and Umi's hands, and was followed by Ardian.

Although Ardian felt awkward at first because his marriage with Tiana was void, because he felt bad for both Tiana's parents, but Ardian tried to remain in touch with the family of his ex-wife-to-be.

Ardian looked at the faces of both of Tiana's parents with a guilty feeling, he looked at the two people who were about to become his in-laws with a sad look.

Abah added, starting to sit in the chair right in front of Ardian and Larisa.

Since the incident where Larisa decided to emigrate, since then she also began to be accepted into the Tiana family, Abah considers Larisa like her own child like Tiana and Fatimah.

Ardian was stunned to hear the words that came out of the mouth of his future wife.

He did not expect a major change in Larisa's life, and it is undeniable if all of it is thanks to the help of Tiana and her family

Ardian replied saying the real reason.

Larisa's question cuts the conversation between Abah and Ardian.

The four of them talked about many things, about the science of religion, Larisa's pregnancy, and about Ardian's work, but occasionally Ardian glanced at Tiana.

Ardian looked at Tiana's beautiful eyes, but several times their eyes collided making the two instantly disconnect their eyes by turning their faces away.

Because Abah who had been sitting too long finally, Umi decided to bring Abah to the room to rest.

There were only three of them who looked at Abah's departure until it was lost behind the connecting wall between one room and another.
