Chapter 30 The Mading Race

Finally, after two weeks of concentration training to face the mading race, today is the awaited moment. The High School Group X team got a 5th turn in order for the presentation and Riska was trusted by her friends to make the presentation. Initially Riska refused, because Riska did not believe in himself and felt he was still a new child in the mading group, with he was included in the race only he was happy, he was happy, but to be asked to do a presentation Riska felt objection. Riska felt Reza, Lina or Ibam were more entitled to advance the presentation, because the three of them were in the more senior mading group. Waste is still a big problem faced by Indonesia.The second, does not burn waste, the third saves energy, the fourth is using recycled products, which is to use recycled products, the fifth is to plant trees and the sixth is to reduce waste.

In closing Riska explains about 'Reduce, Reuse and Recycle programs. ' Reduce itself means reducing waste. The purpose of this step is to reduce the use of products that will potentially become garbage. Reuse means reuse. This stage invites to reuse the product that has been used. By reusing it, the waste arising from these products can be reduced. And the last stage of the 3R concept is Recycle which means recycle. This step is most widely done considering the amount of garbage scattered in various locations such as the sea, land, and air. Recycle is one of the best ways to manage and handle plastic waste with various types. The implementation of the 3R system is very good for managing waste from various types of plastic from safe to toxic.

Then Riska closed the presentation with a greeting. Applause echoed in the room, how did Riska not appear confident and look very masterful of the topic and material conveyed. Finally, the final group presentation. Then given a time lag of about 30 minutes for the jury to calculate the accumulated value. During the wait for the results of the winner's announcement, the participants were given a snack box to fill their stomachs. Riska and her friends chose to eat the snack box, because her stomach was a little hungry. They sit together in a circular sitting position. While eating, Riska looked at Reza, who when opening her snack box immediately took a chicken buras, then opened the buras and immediately ate it. Then Riska spontaneously reprimanded Reza.

Finally 30 minutes passed, it was time for the jury to announce the winner of the race. Starting from Champion 3 with a total score of 235 fell to BG High School, further the announcement to Champion 2 with a total value of 260 fell to HL High School. Riska and her friends and teachers and supporters were anxious, as two winners were announced but not their School was announced. The last announcement came, namely the announcement of who became the champion to the other. The jury announces the first champion. Zia and Lina had already covered their faces with both hands. Riska and the group returned to school gratefully because their efforts had been fruitful. Even at school, Riska and Team friends were welcomed by the Headmaster and his staff, and Reza as Chairman of the Mading handed the trophy to the Headmaster, namely Mr. Rahmat Wijaya, who was the Headmaster, then Mr. Rahmat and his staff congratulated the Race Participant Team for its success in winning the 1st champion and the best presenter. For the cash prize by the Principal was given to Reza, Riska, Lina, Zia and Ibam as a reward for their efforts, only for the Riska part, but also for Riska, Riska left it to the treasurer of the mading group to be put in the cash mading, because at the beginning Riska wanted to join the mading group, he said, Riska aspires to advance mading in order to excel not inferior to other extracurriculars in her school.

When we can do good, it is not because we are great, but because God is willing to give us His ease and knowledge.
