Part-1
"Daughter, where's the breakfast? Bring it here!" my mother shouted from the dining room.
The main menu of this morning's breakfast is chicken soy sauce and sambal mother's favorite. I used to do this every morning before I left for school. "Yes ma'am, in a moment" I said.
As I was about to put the soy sauce chicken into a large bowl, my Mother and Sister shouted. "Geez princess, hurry! it's noon!"
"Teh, hurry! Dinda is late!"
I hurriedly brought this soy sauce and sambal chicken, then put it on the dining table. As she was about to pull the chair, Dinda stopped me. "Eh, wait a minute, Tea. Make Dinda milk, now!" he said "Bang Devan would not?" to a man sitting next to him in a chair.
The one asked was only silent with a flat face, then shook his head.
I paused my intention to eat, then rushed towards the kitchen. When I was on the kitchen doorstep, Mom called me. "Daughter, make coffee for me too!"
I nodded, then threw my breath away violently, I immediately executed the order from them to make milk and coffee.
Shortly after, Dinda screamed again. "Teh, where's the milk! Dinda's leaving!"
I gave this milk and coffee to Dinda and my mother.
I glanced at the clock, it was seven o'clock, maybe later I had breakfast in the cafeteria because now there was no time for me to have breakfast. I'd better change my clothes for my school uniform. However, by the time I was about to step towards my room, Mom had already blocked my arm.
"Heh Princess, where are you going, huh?" asked my mother, with a sharp look.
"Daughter wants to change clothes, Mom. It's noon already. The daughter must go to school, "I answered, trying to get the cheque out of my mother's hand.
"There's no school for you, you better get a job, there!" he said, pushing my body until I fell to the floor. It was seen Dinda smiling a mocking smile.
"Guild school first, Mom!" pamit Dinda, by kissing Mom's hand.
I looked towards Bang Devan who was standing in the doorway. "Bang ..." I said lihir, hoping that I might get a defense from him.
"Davis, Dinda. You're leaving, don't mind him!" tell mom.
"Don't, come on, suck! It's noon, Dinda's late!" said Dinda while pulling Bang Devan's hand. However, Bang Devan looked towards me with a sad look. Soon enough, the sound of a car being driven by Bang Devan and Dinda moved away from the house.
"Heh, Princess. Instead of you going to school, you better find a job there!" my mother said by pushing my chest that was still resting on the floor, then mom sat on the dining table chair.
I try to stand up. "But Ma'am, the princess also wants to go to school like Bang Devan," I replied softly, bowing my head, trying to hold back my tears.
"God, schools. Who's gonna finance you for school, Princess? I don't want to, because I don't have any more expenses. You better just work, find money for your living expenses" my mom said, then sipped a cup of coffee.
"But, Mum. Which job would accept a minor like me?"
"You want any job that's none of Mom's business, it's important you don't charge Mom anymore."
After hearing Mom's words, the tears I was holding back finally flowed down. "W-Why has the Princess been a burden to you, Mother?" ask me with sobs, so it makes tightness in the chest.
She answered loudly, "Yes, you've been a burden to me all along." she shouted, then hurried to the kitchen and brought a broom.
With the sobs I could hold, I immediately cleaned up the housework.
Back when my father was alive, the father who always worked hard to provide for all the needs of this house without us feeling shortcomings, and this family was very harmonious and happy, even Mother also loved me very much.
But since that incident, when I was in sixth grade, I still remember very well when I was sick with heat until having convulsions, my father worriedly took me straight to the hospital. However, on the way, my father and I had an accident.
I am grateful to be saved, but not my father. He left his mother and three children for good. From that moment on, Mom was always rude to me and blamed me for Dad's departure, and now it's been three years that Dad left us with deep sorrow.
After Dad's departure, sometimes I feel, I just love Dinda and Bang Devan, but not by loving me.
Dinda is my sister, we're only one year apart. She was second grade Junior High while I was now third grade Junior High. Mom always obeyed whatever she wanted Dinda, but it was different for me. When I complained to Mom that I wanted new shoes, she scolded me and she said, "It's better for you to quit school, than to buy you shoes." I, hearing Mom's reply, immediately denied my intention to ask for new shoes, because I would have retained my school more than I had to quit school just because my shoes had been damaged.
When I was in fifth grade, I heard that my father put Bang Devan in the best university, I always chatted to my father, that I also want to be like Bang Devan can go to high school. But now, I feel like I have to bury that desire deeply.
It doesn't feel like it's noon and I've been cleaning housework, from sweeping, mopping, washing clothes and dishes. Now I have to go behind the house to clean the barn. I was actually feeling very tired and hungry, but Mother forbade me to eat before I finished all my work.
I picked up the lock of the warehouse that was inside the drawer near the tv, and hurriedly walked towards the warehouse.
I opened the door to the warehouse that was locked.
Chequek!
When I opened the barn door, the rats were running around looking for hiding places, spiders and the kind of small insects that made the barn look seedy, the distinctive smell of the dirty room from inside the warehouse was very exciting in my olfactory senses. Moist air from the roof of a leaking house. Rubbish and dirt build up on the side of the room.
I don't know when the last time this barn was cleaned, but as I recall the last time I saw this barn cleaned up when my late father was still around.
I saw a small, worn-out doll bag on top of the cardboard.
Uhuk! Uhuk!
Dust flew as I blew away the dust in this bag. I remember, when I was in third grade, this little doll bag was a gift from Dad to me. I don't feel like my tears are just flowing, I miss your figure, Dad.
I started cleaning the warehouse, not forgetting that I was wearing the mask I had prepared. I wiped the wet floor first, then collected the trash and put it in a big plastic bag. My stomach has been rumbling from earlier, that means I have to quickly finish all this.
When I arranged the boxes to be neatly arranged, I accidentally nudged the cardboard on my right side .. bruk!
A cube-shaped cardboard fell right under my feet. It looks like a red rope dangles out from the inside of the cardboard. I was curious about the contents of the cardboard, then I immediately took the cardboard lying under my feet, inside there was a baby blanket and baby diaper of plain red cloth. However, inside the folds of the baby blanket was a piece of paper. I took it and opened the paper, there was a writing that had faded from the ink, but still clearly visible writing.
'Anyone who finds this baby, please name Princess Diana Irawan. Please take care of him and take care of him with all your heart. We were forced to do this, because we wanted to save our son from the bad guys. Please tell him this truth when he's eighteen.

Diana Muliawati's.'
My eyes were perfectly rounded, my hands cupped my mouth after I read the contents of this writing.
The bright lights that came out of my eyes just flowed. "So, a-have I been a-a child of Mother Nira and Father Ridwan?" I said with my mouth trembling.
The piece of paper I still held with trembling hands, my body as if limp, as if my bones were no longer doing their job.
I tried to get up, but I felt my head was very heavy, and my vision suddenly blurred, that second also my body.
