4. That Perfume!

Carlos knew Venna while still studying at the same campus as Venna just another faculty. Several times Carlos tried to get close to Venna when she was injured and Carlos helped to treat Venna's wounds when she fell down the emergency stairs at the hospital where Carlos was interning.

At that time, Venna visited her best friend who was admitted to the hospital because of an accident. From there Carlos knows Venna's one campus with him.

Carlos once asked Venna for a date, but this polar girl did not respond to Carlos' invitation. Even Carlos never saw Venna close to anyone. And they recently graduated four months ago. Why is Venna suddenly stranded in a mental hospital pregnant? That's the big question in Carlos' brain space.

"Venna...!" Say hello to Carlos but responded coldly Venna who did not recognize Carlos.

When she heard her name called Venna, she felt threatened because every man she saw wanted to rape her." Venna...! Relax Venna! I'm your doctor right now and we're both friends. We went to the same college." Carlos Said.

As if she was detecting the same sound as her rapist, Venna was calm because the man in front of her was not the culprit. Carlos completed his task to check the condition of Venna's heart which turned out to be quite weak.

"Venna...! Who's the father of your son? Does that guy not want to be responsible for you to make you depressed like this? I know you don't even have a boyfriend. Why are you now ..-"

"Doctor Carlos...!" Reprimanded doctor Claire who knows Carlos deliberately dig up the patient's description through CCTV.

"Yes Doctor!"

"You're here whose job it's to check on the patient's condition instead of asking something that isn't your field." Doctor Claire's quibbles made Carlos nervous.

"Sorry doctor Claire. I know this patient very well. That's why I'm asking him to talk." Doctor Carlos's.

"I don't care if you're his friend or not, see, Miss Venna's treatment here as a patient and don't involve your personal feelings in the patient!"

"Alright, doctor Claire. I'm sorry." Doctor Carlos moved out of Venna's nursery.

Despite being subtly evicted by Claire's doctor, Carlos is very curious about Venna's case. He is eager to find out what happened to Venna, but is confused where to start because the hospital is forbidden by its employees to gossip about patients.

Their phones are always monitored every time they have entered the hospital area for activities. Patient confidentiality is absolutely guaranteed, considering that patients in R. S. are on average the families of severely depressed conglomerates such as Venna.

Two days later, Claire's doctor returns to check on Venna. As Venna has begun to calm down and not easily panic because the treatment given by the hospital is really optimal.

"Have you felt better Venna?" Claire asks the doctor but is coldly responded by Venna.

Venna just stared at the exit as if she wanted to be free from the place because the walls of the hospital were all foamy except for the toilet.

"Do you want a walk, Venna?" Pointing Claire's doctor towards the door made Venna nod quickly.

"You want to use a wheelchair? Or walk alone." Claire's doctor shows Venna a wheelchair.

Venna agreed to sit in a wheelchair because she was also lazy to step on her legs. Before long, Claire's doctor exits Venna's nursery while pushing the girl's wheelchair.

Venna was so excited because she could breathe fresh air around her because the hospital was located not far away at the foot of the hill. Doctor Carlos saw Venna's pretty face from a distance. She wanted to accompany her, but Claire's doctor always prevented her.

Venna's gestational age is six months. Venna is now wanted to be visited by her parents. His mother brought milk for pregnant women and Vena wanted to drink it.

"Venna...! Don't you miss me, baby?"

After being given a sedative by Carlos' doctor, Venna returns to sleep. Carlos was so concerned about the fate of the woman he admired so much until now still unchanged.

A few hours later, Venna again blinked her eyes and her hands were no longer wearing a safety jacket. Venna stretched out her arms and stretched her muscles which felt very sore during the wearing of the torture jacket.

When entering the twilight, Venna would like to take another walk to the hospital park. Doctor Claire who understands Venna's wishes again takes Venna for a walk to the park.

Both of them sat in the garden. While staring at the flowers in the garden, Claire's husband called his wife.

"Where are you, baby?" Ask Calvin.

"For the patient to sit in the garden."

"alright. I'm going there. I'm already in the hospital area."

"good. I'll wait here, baby."

Not long after, doctor Claire's husband calls his wife. He approached his wife who was standing up to greet him. The two kiss each other and do not care about Venna who is still busy breathing the air of freedom.

But his sense of smell caught the smell of a man's perfume that was familiar to him." That perfume, he..he's here...?" Venna looked shaky and panicked.

"He.he's the rapist. Him,...!" Pekik Venna makes Claire and Calvin simultaneously release their kiss.

"But Calvin! Looks like my patient relapsed." Claire approaches Venna who doesn't want to see her husband's face Claire.

"What's Venna?" Ask Claire.

"The owner of the perfume is behind me. " Venna's voice made Claire flinch.

"But that's my husband Venna." Deny Claire.

"The perfume is exactly like the man's perfume." Venna said while crying.

"Everybody's got that perfume, Venna. Let's see my husband's face. You must have been wrong, Venna."

Venna carefully turned her body to look at her husband Claire and her face looked even paler with widened eyes.

"Yes...! He's the man who raped me, Doctor Claire." Venna's words stammered Claire to a jerk.
