The tension grew even more gripping as the old woman with all of her whitened hair walked out of her magnificent home.
"What's this about? Why are there cops in this house?"
The old woman was Grandma Tara, she saw her son Joko—, handcuffed.
"Why did you catch my son?" The woman who was that old age, she approached the police who were still holding Joko's body.
"Sorry, Madam. We're just running from Miss Amora to arrest Mr. Joko on charges of embezzlement of company funds."
Hearing the police's words, Grandma Tara glanced at Amora who was standing not far from her.
"Amora, what have you done? He's your uncle, you shouldn't have done this to your own family!" said Grandma Tara, her voice sounded up several octaves.
Amora let out a glance, her hands crossed on her chest, she tried to ignore the old woman who still looked fit.
Then Grandma Tara approached her son who was about to be taken into a patrol car.
"Wait on! You shouldn't have taken my son for granted" he told the police.
"Ma, help me, Ma! They want to put me in jail" Joko said, hoping her mother could release her.
"You take it easy, Joko. Mama will do anything to set you free."
Amora who heard that, it felt like she wanted to vomit just like that.
Tara's grandmother approached Amora again, her face looking tense.
"Amora, why are you quiet? Grandma asked you to release your uncle. Is this how you treat your own family, huh?" said Grandma Tara. He stared fiercely at Amora.
"family? You are my family, Grandma. But, what Uncle did was already overdue, he had stolen the company's money. Once a thief, he was still a thief." Amora was firm, there was no sense of pity at all for the old woman in front of her.
Tara's grandmother approached the policeman again, "Sir police, please release my son. It's just a matter of course and we can sort it out in a familial manner."
"No!" Amora snatched Grandma Tara's words.
"If Grandma wants me to withdraw the charges against Uncle, then you must return what you have stolen from me."
Tara's grandmother fell silent, she weighed her grandson's words.
"If Grandma can't bring back everything that's been stolen, don't blame me if Grandma's favorite child has to crouch behind bars" continued Amora, one corner of her lips lifted. He was satisfied to see the face of his grandmother.
"Amora, we can solve all this well, you don't count your own uncle too much." Grandma Tara's face, which had been emotional, now turned sad.
"Amora, think again before you make the wrong decision. She's your uncle and I'm your grandmother, Amora.
" Did you put your uncle in jail?" said Grandma Tara who played the show. He even pretended to cry in front of everyone.
Hearing Grandma Tara's words, Amora felt that she was the one who became the villain here. However, Amora soon banishes feelings of pity to the family that had troubled her long ago.
"Amorah! How outrageous of you, is this how you treat your own uncle, huh?"
Now that it was Joko's turn to raise her voice, she could no longer bear to look at Amora's powerful attitude. Although both hands have been handcuffed, but it does not make Joko afraid of her own nephew.
"It's wrong that Uncle took a little company money? That was because of your grandmother's approval, Amora. Did you forget about that?"
Amora squinted her eyes, she stared fiercely at Joko. Then Amora smiled mockingly.
"Then what about you guys? Have you forgotten what you guys did to me?" Amora twists a fact, she is forced to bring up her past.
"So don't blame me if I get back at all you do, you deserve it." Amora feels her emotions are in the crown.
"Enough, Amora! Enough's enough! Are you satisfied with embarrassing us, huh?" between Grandma Tara, she suddenly became hysterical. The old woman sat on the ground with her face down
.
"What is our fault that you have to do something like this, Amora? Grandma admitted, this is indeed the fault of Grandma who can not educate Grandma's son properly, so Grandma also has a grandchild who can slander her own grandmother." Granny Tara's cry further broke, making some people who saw her would definitely feel pity.
Amora flinched, her jaws tightened looking at the charade that Grandma Tara had been playing at this time.
"Alright, Grandma. Grandma doesn't have to play this way. Do you think I'm gonna melt because I saw Grandma's tears full of falsehood?"
Tara's grandmother raised her face, she felt surprised that Amora had not changed her decision at all.
"Now I can only give you two options, return the company funds or Uncle will put in jail" Amora said firmly.
While a woman who had been silent since then witnessed the debate. He went into the house and took something from his room. Soon he returned and approached Amora.
"Amorah! Maybe this is not how much money my husband has taken. But, at least, you can think of my feelings, Amora. Don't take him to the police station." Joko's wife handed over some of her savings to Amora and Amora accepted it with pleasure.
"What are you doing?" Seeing his wife give money to Amora, makes Joko surprised, as well as Grandma Tara.
"We don't have any other choice, Mom. I did what we were supposed to do a long time ago. If only you hadn't obeyed your mother's words, maybe we wouldn't have been humiliated like this" his wife Joko said with a sad face.
As for Grandma Tara, she stared dislikefully at Amora, the girl looked excited because she finally got the desired money.
"I consider this ten percent of what Uncle took. All right, I'll let go of Uncle Joko. But that doesn't mean you're free to pay off the rest. You still have to pay it to the full."
Amora who saw the face of her own family, she felt very satisfied. Amora asks the police to release Joko and the police officer immediately leave the residence of Grandma Tara.
Then Amora decided to leave in the presence of her deceitful family.
"It's not much, Grandma. Just look, I'll make you guys not struggle to fight me later," muttered Amora as she was already on her way home.
Seeing Amora and the police have left, makes a relief in the hearts of Grandma Tara and also Joko.
“Damn it! The boy is very brave to threaten us,” said Joko, he looked up at the car that just left the yard.
