Chapter 17 Pretending to be Pregnant
"Zila, get me a towel in the bathroom. I want to soak in the buthtub," tell Hilda no matter what when all Zila's work is done. Jampun showed at nine o'clock in the evening, it was time to rest.
Suddenly Zila bowed while holding her aching lower stomach.
"Aduhhh, ouhhhh, ahhhhh, akhatt," his ringis while holding his lower abdomen which of course pretended to be sick. Hilda looked astonished, then she shouted at her mother.
"Mamaaaa, this look, this village woman is in pain. Hurry, Ma! Bi Rani, Bi Rana come here," cried Hilda frantically who saw Zila as in complete pain.
"Awwww, akhatttt," ringed.
Bu Hilsa, Bi Rani and Bi Rana sprung up with panicked and shocked faces.
"Why is this, honey?" Bu Hilsa asked Hilda worried she had done a physical KDRT on Zila the son-in-law whom she always considered trash.
"Non Zila, why Non?" Bi Rani and Bi Rana approached Zila and lifted her body towards the living room sofa to lay down.
"I'm just cramping, Bi. It seems like the fetus in my womb was shaken by being too tired," he said making everyone there was wide in disbelief including Naga and Mr. Hasri who had just returned from outside the city, astonished at Zila's confession.
"What, this village woman is pregnant?" pekik Bu Hilsa could not believe it.
The dragon who had just returned home, approached Zila and looked at her in disbelief. The dragon guessed that the baby Zila was carrying was not her flesh blood but rather belonged to the striped-nose men out there.
"Yes Kak. I'm pregnant and this is our child" she replied convincingly with a face made as apprehensive as possible.
"I can't believe you're not pregnant with a boy outside, and then claiming to be pregnant with a Naga child" Hilsa said.
"How am I pregnant with a child of another man while I am coming again to the moon? So, obviously this is his son Dragon Brother," I Zila was excited. Dragon and Mr. Hasri widened his eyes still in disbelief.
. "Is this really a dragon? Did you already pay him?" Bu Hilsa stared intently at the Dragon with a threatening look
"Yes, I'm pregnant. And the baby I bear is the baby Dragon Sister. Before I called my daughter, I checked with a pregnancy test and the result was positive line two" Zila said.
"Dragon, Mama told you not to be gauli first this village girl. But why don't you pay attention to what Mama says?" Bu Hilsa attacked the Dragon with a fierce face.
Naga felt defamed by all of Zila's confessions. Then by pretending to be happy he approached Zila and grabbed Zila's tanga and took her upstairs to the room that Zila occupied.
The dragon closed and re-locked the room door, then threw Zila's body into the bed.
"Tell me that it's all a lie, you're lying, aren't you? Tell me honestly Zila Arzilla or else I'll be looking at you right now" the Dragon threatened.
"Please let you my talak now. I will gladly leave this house. I can be free from all of your painful accusations, "challenge Zila not afraid to make the Dragon flinch.
The dragon became shrivelled, in fact he did not have the courage to look at Zila, because the bottom of his heart there is a sense that is difficult to describe. What flavor is it?
