Part 61: Marrying Rachel!
Three days later
The arrival of the big boss took all the employees by surprise.
Three days after Arkha's return to Indonesia, the middle-aged man followed with a bodyguard who constantly guarded every trip. However, the bodyguard did not only appear, it all depends on the orders of Leon.
Not only the other employees, Arkha himself was very surprised by the arrival of his father. There was no word on his return. Yesterday during an online meeting, Leon was seen still abroad.
Leon greeted his employees kindly, then headed to his son's room which had to go through the elevator.
"You know?" ask Arkha to Dicky.
"I really don't know, sir." replied Dicky.
Arkha did not get information about Leon's arrival from others, he saw it accidentally through the surveillance camera he was checking.
"Please come in, Pa." said Arkha.
Leon goes straight into Arkha's room, while Arkha and Dicky follow behind him. Leon's third step stopped, then he looked back with a faint smile.
"You know that Papa's coming?" leon asked his son with a smile on the corner of his lips that had its own meaning.
"You're very surprised, aren't you?" leon looked at the two men in front of him.
"In what order did Papa come back to Indonesia and without giving any news to us first?" ask Arkha.
Leon placed his hand on Arkha's shoulder and looked at the son with a smile.
"It looks like my proud son is really very surprised, huh."
Arkha took a deep breath because he did not like his time wasted just to serve unimportant things. And, he believes the arrival of his father is certainly related to personal things that are very disturbing him.
"Sorry sir, if my presence here is disturbing, I'm sorry" Dicky said.
Leon immediately held back.
"No, it's a coincidence that you're here, ***" Leon replied.
Arkha and Dicky stared at each other.
"Let's talk while we're sitting down." take Leon.
The three men sat on the sofa that was in Arkha's room. They did not immediately speak, Leon was seen circulating his gaze at every corner in the room.
"I'm very grateful for your hard work, Arkha and Dicky" Leon said.
Leon smile.
"Dicky, I'm here to ask you as a witness to this conversation."
Dicky nodded too.
"Arkha, Papa believes in your head is filled with various questions, accusations, and conclusions that you make yourself" Leon said.
"For that matter, can Papa not beat around the bush in this?" arkha Reply.
Leon raised the corner of his lips while smiling slightly.
"Arkha, Papa is here to give you another chance, and ask for your firmness,"
"About Rachel."
Arkha immediately took a deep breath and threw away his gaze. Dicky could do nothing but listen to this family drama.
"Married to Rachel!" firmly Leon.
"I can't beat my wife." Arkha replied in formal language.
"ARKH! THIS IS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF OUR COMPANY. FOR THE FUTURE OF YOU AND MICHAEL!"
"Ck! shame on Dicky, Pa." Arkha's reply.
For a moment they were silent to each other.
"Your marriage was just a formality to keep Michael quiet. But, your happiness will feel real if you marry on a balanced level."
Arkha looked at Leon with disappointment.
"People won't know your marriage to that village girl. So, getting married again is not a problem, because later your marriage with Rachel will be recognized." continued Leon who made Arkha and Dicky immediately shook his head.
Arkha's face was already very showing his disappointment towards his own two parents about this ridiculous request.
"Arkha can't, Pa. Whatever reason you gave, it was ridiculous and would inflict even greater harm on Michael. Which must be Vina's family." Arkha refused.
Arkha's feelings and heart were already feeling very full. Under these circumstances, he could not control himself. He immediately moved and wanted to leave Leon and Dicky who was still sitting.
"LEAVE THE COMPANY OR MARRY RACHEL!!"
