Young Master Liem

Young Master Liem
Chapter 11 The invasion

Mr. Liem, Wan Siang's father, is famous as a very special person. Once he decides on a thing, he will do it. He had decided to close his son's gambling house and that was what he did.

He told his friend, the owner of Tong Pang silat college, to do that. Grand Master Liem had been friends with Lie Kuan Tay, the owner of the silat college, since young. Lie Kuan Tay agrees with Mr. Liem's intention to teach his son a lesson in returning to the right path.

“You don't have to worry, I'll help you take care of the boy. If given a good warning can not, yes forced to have another way that is more powerful,” said Lie Kuan Tay.

“I don't want any fatalities, you better use your bare hands. This is just a matter of closing the gambling house, not a matter of life and death,” replied Mr. Liem.

“Deliver everything to me, later you just know it is fine, anyway you will not be disappointed.”

The conversation had taken place the day before. Lie Kuan Tay then with ten of his men came to the gambling house owned by Wan Siang, which as usual is guarded by its tiles.

Lie Kuan Tay is a middle-aged man who retains the Manchu culture by still wearing a tocang or braid. The clothes are Twie Kim, which is a straight buttoned cocoa dress as many as five pieces on the front. The carrying always makes a tremble, because everyone knows he owns the famous Tong Pang silat college, as well as being a silat teacher there.

Wan Siang was one of Lie Kuan Tay's students, but he hadn't been training for a long time because he was busy with his business at the gambling house. As a student, Wan Siang was talented in martial arts, although he did not practice hard.

Lie Kuan Tay knew that Wan Siang's martial ability might be able to defeat his other students, hence Mr. Lie deliberately joined the group of invaders if it was thought necessary to face Wan Siang himself. Later his students live to take care of the temples of Wan Siang who are mostly indigenous people, who usually only rely on large bodies and sharp weapons, but minimal knowledge of martial arts.

After being told by Uncle A Seng about the arrival of his teacher in the courtyard of his gambling house, Wan Siang immediately came out to welcome.

“What wind is it that Master came here?” Ask Wan Siang.

“Your father told me to close this place, you better follow his wish,” Lie Kuan Tay replied.

“What if I don't want to?”

“Your father just wants to educate you to be a good boy, Master doesn't want any unwanted happenings, let alone bloodshed. So I ask carefully, close this gambling house right now.”

“It's a shame that my thoughts are different from Papa.”

“If you can't be told well, don't blame Master if you have to act as your father wishes.”

Lie Kuan Tay then ordered his ten students to disperse the gamblers who were busy, but of course Wan Siang temples did not stay silent. People ran away after their games were ruffled and the fighters chased them away ferociously. The Wan Siang temple tried to stop the actions of Lie Kuan Tay students by swinging a machete, hitting, and kicking. But none of their attacks hit the target. Even the punches and kicks of the fortresses are reciprocated with silat moves that counteract their attacks.

All golok panteng Wan Siang successfully captured. With their bare hands it was impossible to defeat the disciples of Lie Kuan Tay. Eventually their attack was defeated. Soon the tiles were already lying in a battered state, no one was able to fight anymore.

Seeing that incident, Uncle A Seng acted quickly. In addition to trying to save himself, he also tried to save as much money as is still left in the gambling house. He took the cloth tablecloth, then scooped up the money that splattered as much as possible. After that, the cloth cloth that was filled with money was tied up and carried away to a safer place.

Seeing the tiles defeated, Wan Siang was very upset.

“Damn it! Now there is no other choice, I will fight with Master,” Wan Siang said. The young man advanced and began to launch moves to attack his own teacher.

“Stop, Wan Siang, I don't want us to fight.”

“Teachers have challenged me since the beginning. Teacher who started, I was just trying to defend myself.”

After that, driven by the overflowing anger from within him, Wan Siang lunged at his teacher. Lie Kuan Tay who is very proficient in martial arts certainly easily read the style for the sake of Wan Siang, so what he did was try to fend off the attack as much as possible.

“Why just parry? Come attack me, Master. We fight manly.”

“You won't be able to beat me. If I attack, you'll get hurt, so stop your resistance.”

But even though Wan Siang rarely practiced, he still remembered the deadly moves taught by Lie Kuan Tay, so his teacher was desperate and inevitably had to launch an attack to stop Wan Siang as quickly as possible.

The blow from Lie Kuan Tay landed on Wan Siang's face, causing his cheeks to bruise and the corner of his mouth to bleed. Wan Siang could hardly believe that he was beaten by his own teacher. The wound is painful, but even more painful if it is caused by people who are close to it.

Wan Siang's heart became so sick, that without feeling tears fell from both eyes. The teacher took the nameplate of the Wan Siang gambling house and broke it. It ended Wan Siang's gambling business that he built with Uncle A Seng.

Wan Siang would not be able to forget that event for the rest of his life. He came home like a broken hearted man, kicking the ground on the way, trying to escape all the pain and disappointment he was feeling.

In addition to kicking the ground and swearing, he also tried to treat his heart pain by drinking, so that the upsetting event quickly went from his mind.

The Sweetie saw something was wrong with Wan Siang. In addition to the wound on the man's face, he also saw Wan Siang who was not usually crying, while he was crying while drunk.

“I hate Papa, I hate Master. Why do you all destroy me?” Of course no one will answer the question, because Wan Siang was alone, only accompanied by a wine bottle and a small cup.

Although the Sweet Man is generally afraid if Wan Siang is drunk, that time he even felt sorry. He had never seen the young man hurt while crying, so he came with a worried face.

“What happened to Tuan?” Ask The Sweet.

“I was beaten by my teacher, my papa ordered him to close my judiciary, now my efforts have been ruined. I have to how?”

“Sabar Mr...“ That's the only thing capable of sliding out of Sweet's mouth.

After that Wan Siang again downed the wine, he continued drinking until he fell asleep in the chair. Sweetie was so sorry for that guy. The girl took the blanket and covered the blanket to Wan Siang's body so that she would not get cold. It happened to be night and the air was cold.

The girl did want Wan Siang to go to sleep quickly, the man had languished enough all day.

Wan Siang woke up at noon, his head was dizzy, but was already fully conscious. When he woke up, he remembered the closing of his judiciary and again felt annoyed. Usually at that hour Wan Siang was already in his judiciary house, but because the business was closed he did not want to go anywhere.

His gaze became blank like a dazed person. His heart was deeply shaken. Then he moved into the room.

The Sweetie knew Wan Siang was up when the sun was almost right over his head, the man skipped breakfast. Sweet worried that if Wan Siang hungry, because his stomach has not filled anything but the wine he had drunk since yesterday.

Encouraged by those concerns, Sweet approached Wan Siang in his room while carrying a tray containing a plate of food and a glass of water.

“Master hasn't eaten from last night, you'd better eat first, later Mr. stomach hurts.”

Wan Siang glanced at the Sweet One and the tray he was carrying, but had no appetite at all.

“Come sir eaten, do I need a bribe?”

Actually Wan Siang had no appetite, but his starving stomach betrayed him. From earlier his stomach was beeping as a sign of real hunger.

Wan Siang did not reply, but he opened his mouth as a sign that he wanted to eat by being fed.

The Sweetie was happy to see Wan Siang now at least want to open his mouth, so that he could put food in it. Wan Siang had never been fed by his own mother, there were only 2 people who had bribed him, his nanny and now the Sweet One.

“Why do you care about me?” ask Wan Siang.

“Since yesterday Mr cried while drunk, who has not pity? Let alone me, even the lizard on the wall must be sorry to see the state of Mr.”

“What do you know the feeling of a lizard?”

“Chicak is also a living creature, although small, surely he also has a feeling.”

Wan Siang was rather amused to hear the words of the strange Sweet, after the endless sadness he experienced.

“I am lazy to live,” said Wan Siang.

“Cannot be lazy to live Sir, later many are sad if Mr why-why.”

“Would you also be sad if I die?”

“Definitely sad, because Mister died in vain just because lazy to live. I have also never heard of anyone dying just for being lazy to live.”

“I'll be the first to die of laziness live.”

“Don't ya Sir, don't think like that.”

Seeing the worried face of the Sweet One, Wan Siang so laughed amusedly.

“If you want me to live, you have to take care of me, let me live. Because I am lazy again. I need someone else to take care of my life.”

“I will take care of Sir, so that Mr does not die in vain.”

That's the determination of the Sweet One, driven by pity to see the state of Wan Siang. So he decided from then on to take care of all the needs of Young Master Liem, who really was not wanting to do anything in his life.
