24. So the girlfriend pretended

"There's something I want to talk to you about, do you have free time at lunchtime.?" ask Ricard.

"Well, what's Ricard?" ask Zahra.

"I'll be waiting for you at Cafe Delmiv at one o'clock in the afternoon" Ricard said, disconnecting his phone.

"But I'm meeting with one of my clients at noon, and maybe I'll see you a little late" Zahra explained.

"No problem, yes I've returned to my office first." replied Ricard.

At exactly one o'clock in the afternoon Ricard was right at Cafe Delmiv. Until two o'clock Zahra never came. Ricard also gave up his intention to wait again and wanted to get out of the cafe, but he passed Zahra but Ricard who was already disappointed quickly said.

"I'm sorry Zahra, but I have to get back to the company. Because there are some files that I have to sign and for this meeting to be canceled." Ricard explained angrily.

"Ricard, I'm sorry, if you've waited so long, and to make amends for my mistakes, whatever your request I'll agree to." Zahra replied

"You're sure of what you're saying" asked Ricard.

"I'm sure of what I said." replied Zahra.

Ricard smiled as well. "Well let's sit down and talk about it." exclaimed Ricard with a triumphant smile.

After the two sat down and ate lunch Ricard began to tell about his request.

"Zahra, I actually wanted to ask you for help, but maybe my request was ridiculous" Ricard said hesitantly.

"Say Ricard, if I can help you I will gladly help you." Zahra replied.

"After night there's my Mom's birthday party, and I'm not allowed to come if I don't bring a boyfriend! and the real purpose I'm taking you. Will you be my pretended girlfriend only tonight." Ricard explained carefully because he did not want his speech to be misinterpreted by Zahra.

"Whaat.!" shout Zahra.

"I beg you! it's not like you promised to approve my request." Ricard replied.

Zahra also felt bad if he had to refuse Ricard's request because he was someone who always obeyed every word.

"Alright, but only for tonight, after that don't involve me in this matter" Zahra said resignedly.

"OK, I promise I won't involve you after this. All right I'll pick you up at seven o'clock tonight." Ricard replied with a happy smile.

"Yes, I'm back in my office" Zahra said.

Ricard went back to the apartment to prepare. Almost 1 hour passed finally Ricard finished preparing and returned to pick up Zahra in his Apartment. Ricard was sitting in the living room waiting for Zahra who was preparing. It did not take long, Zahra finally came out.

Ricard was fascinated to see Zahra so beautiful and graceful when wearing a colored dress to the brown. "Thank you for accompanying me to dinner with my parents." exclaimed Ricard.

Zahrapun smile.

"But can we stop by for a while at a pastry shop, I've prepared a birthday cake for your Mom and can't get us there empty-handed" Zahra said shyly.

"Alright, makasi ya Zahra." Ricard replied with a smile.

Finally they arrived at a cake shop owned by Zahra which is not far from the campus. After taking the cake, they went straight to Ricard's parents' main house. Taking a long journey, they finally reached the main house of Ricard's parents.

"Where's your boyfriend.! if you're here alone, you better just come back." Mamah Linda Aldewinata Alziro said.

"Relax me Mah, my boyfriend is in the car, he's embarrassed to meet Mamah Papah." his words and Ricard also came back to Zahra who was sitting in the car because he was really embarrassed and nervous to meet the two Ricard's parents.

"Honey come on, it's okay!" she opened the door for Zahra.

When Zahra comes down. Ricard whispered, "Sorry! I've been calling you dear." whispered Ricard.

"No problem, but remember your promise and don't involve me again after this." Zahra replied.

"OK! I will keep my promise." said Ricard.

Mamah Linda was so happy when she saw Zahra. Papah Fikry who was talking with his business partners was surprised by the arrival of the Wife who quickly pulled him.

"What's wrong?" asked Papah Fikry with his waist to see the wife's behavior.

"The father of our son has come and it turns out he is not here alone, but he brought his girlfriend. And the girl is very beautiful and from the look on her face like a nice and educated woman." explained Ms. Linda happily.

Zahra and Ricard entered the house and were greeted by Mamah and Papah Ricard. But because of her beauty Zahra was also in the spotlight of the existing guests.

"Come in, baby. Mamah this is Zahra Ricard's girlfriend." said Ricard introduced Zahra.

Zahra kissed the palms of Ricard's 2 parents. Mamah Linda hugged Zahra and Zahra returned the hug. Zahra sat next to Mamah Linda.

"Well, this is Zahra's cake" Ricard said, handing over the cake box.

"Happy birthday Aunty may be given health and happy always." Say Zahra.with

"Boye, honey, let's eat first." Mamah Linda also brought food for Zahra.

"Tante don't have to, let Zahra take it himself." said Zahra embarrassed.

"Kok call Aunty the same Om heck dear, call Mamah the same Papah dong." said Ny.Linda with a smile.

"Uhuukk" Zahra quipped, Ricard got up and walked towards him and gave Zahra a drink.

"Why you, baby? eat it slowly dong!" ricard.

"Nothing dear." Zahra replied with a grumpy look.

Mamah Linda who saw her son who was so considerate with a woman for the first time was so happy.

"Finally so long you do not come home, when you bring home a girlfriend who is so polite and also so beautiful. It really makes Mama's heart happy dear." said Mrs.Linda who looks so happy.

Papah Fikry asked Zahra. "Where are your parents now??" ask Mr. Fikry.

"Father with Mother, living in Batam, I am here to continue my study and manage my small business." replied Zahra

"Well, let's get the interrogation! look at that Zahra's face on the red." exclaimed Ricard.

Ricard and Mr. Fikry were talking about the company. Zahra and Mamah Linda were looking at a photo album during the childhood Ricard.
