A few weeks earlier, the guard in the town of Eagle had loosened, the government's vigilance was not even visible. They are lulled by the momentary pleasures, the peace and tranquility of life. The only thing that made them tense up was the war that took place at the school a few weeks ago.
Chendrik sent a message to the state police to help resolve the former war. He also requested that they work together to guard the city from unexpected enemy attacks.
However, everything that the head of the headquarters said, they only considered it as a mere booze. Feeling that there were no significant problems after the war, they were indifferent to the warning given by Chendrik. Until several war vehicles suddenly appeared to break the security of the city, then they panicked and the fog gathered all the soldiers.
Massive attacks took place on land, air, and sea. The three islands under local administration did not escape their attack. Including the island of Liman, where Zena was born. The mafia controlled all the places in the town of Eagle, they did not let the residents roam outside let alone go to work.
The economy of Eagle City was completely paralyzed. The city is heavily guarded by heavily armed men, the state police force is crippled easily. Their headquarters were even ravaged after several bombs were detonated.
"Master, those mafias have taken control of half of the town of Eagle. What do we do?" report a spy to Chendrik and Adhikari who are leading the meeting.
"What about the police? Have they moved to secure the city?" ask Chendrik.
He remained calm even though his heart was troubled.
"They put up a fight, Master, but the mobsters destroyed the police headquarters. Many of them are victims and some are prisoners" he replied.
"What about the army base?" Chendrik recalled Sebastian, the army had a full-fledged war vehicle.
"They haven't been seen moving, Master. Their headquarters gate was even sealed shut, no activity was visible inside the headquarters."
Chendrik sighed, rubbing his face riled up considering the town of Eagle which is being critically faced with the attacks of the mafia.
"How many warships are seen at sea?" Chendrik continued the question.
"About ten warships in each of the docks, Master." Reply tense.
"How many warships do we have? Also a submarine?" Chendrik recalled what the current headquarters had.
"Not much, Master. There are fifteen warships as well as five submarines at our disposal" replied one of the higher-ups tasked with guarding the city's sea.
"No problem, I want some soldiers to go diving to destroy their warships. Isn't there an underground road we can use to get there?" Chendrik.
He looked at everyone, their tense faces were stark. For a lifetime, this was the largest attack that had ever taken place in the city of Eagle. The team of Blue Eagles in charge of guarding the city sea will do the job. Their chief sent some men to go dive into the sea.
"Master? What about the attackers on the ground? Are we going to attack them directly?" ask one of the officials in charge of maintaining the city's security.
"How many vehicles of war did they bring, and what about the state of the population? Are they okay?" ask Chendrik before answering his question.
"About ten war vehicles are blocking the city gates, Master. The residents are forbidden to leave the house, they stand guard in front of every resident's house, Master," he replied.
Chendrik thought, the ten they brought, while the headquarters only had seven war vehicles. A balanced number, but not dampening their intention to fight back.
"Ready, Master!" firmly answer.
"The hardest thing is to fight an air strike." Adhikari muttering.
"They're no longer wandering around, Master. What I heard after they managed to take control of the city, next is our headquarters," said one of the officials.
"If so we should be prepared to accept the attack. Both air and ground attacks. You, I'm counting on you to organize all the soldiers that exist. Place them according to the ability they have," said Chendrik to the team leader Red Eagle as well as others.
One by one the higher-ups disbanded, that night they would carry out the duties assigned by Chendrik. At least what they did a little bit would reduce the number of enemies.
"What about Zena? Have you contacted him?" adhikari asked after they had only stayed together.
"I can't tell him about this, Master. Let him remain there until things become safe" replied Chendrik lethargic.
He leaned his back on the chair, staring blankly at the ceiling of the meeting room. This attack was completely unexpected.
"Do you know who the leader of the mafia is?" Adhikari asked again, he stared fixedly at Chendrik's tangled face looking for answers.
"Hirata, he's the leader of the mafia. I'm sorry, Master. Hirata and I used to be best friends and we were like brothers. We had to build a business together, which over time began to deviate and not in line with my thoughts. He had promised not to touch the Eagle City, but in fact he was challenging as if he wanted to settle a pending grudge," replied Chendrik.
Adhikari was a little surprised, it happened long before Chendrik decided to join the Eagle headquarters and become the best spy to successfully lead the headquarters in place of the previous leader.
"You know exactly what your opponent is like, which means you've prepared yourself for whatever happens. Including fighting it directly," Adhikari said.
"Well, I know. We are balanced opponents, both won the black belt in the same year even predicted as the best collaboration. I don't know, hopefully my heart doesn't weaken when it comes to dealing directly with it" Chendrik replied again with a look of air.
Adhikari fell silent, there was nothing else they were talking about. Thinking about the critical state of the city, he brought Cana to the headquarters. The only place he thought was safe from enemy attack.
The situation of the Eagle city is really sad, there is no life or human wandering in the heart of the city except the mafia who are always on standby in front of the houses of the people. They sealed off all industries, shops and crippled entrepreneurs. The Eagle City had truly become a dead city.
"Master!"
Someone barged into the meeting room, quickly coming towards Chendrik and Adhikari.
"What's wrong?" Chendrik looked at him curiously.
"The government sent a letter of request for assistance to the headquarters, also from the army headquarters, it seems they want to cooperate this time," he replied as he handed two envelopes with different seals.
Chendrik received and read them one by one with Adhikari. Right, it was a letter from the government containing a plea for help. Also a letter from the army headquarters that wants to cooperate with the Eagle Eye headquarters.
