Zena: The Last Fight

Zena: The Last Fight
Almost Anyways

"There's something coming" Cheo whispered almost inaudibly.

Zena was stunned, sharpening her spiritual senses to be able to hear clearly the voices that came.

"Bring them all in the car, Cheo. Close the doors, and let the Tigris take care of them" Zena said.

He crept onto the roof to look in the distance, while Cheo carried all the children into the van.

"Shut up, right here. Don't make a fuss, just sit quietly. Everything will be fine" Cheo said before closing the car door and locking it.

The Tigris stood guard as Zena commanded. While the two of them went to the location of the waterfall box car earlier. There were voices of many people at the scene.

"All the children in the box disappeared, there were only two people in a charred state of burning."

Someone spoke on the phone. About fifteen people in uniform officially investigated the place. Zena and Cheo hide behind a tree that is not illuminated by their car lights.

"Give the team up with the other car, I'm sure all the kids are in the car. They're heading east!"

He said again. Zena thought for a moment before pulling Cheo's hand to leave the place. Both ran, and got into the van. If they stay there, the police will definitely find them. Zena is lazy to deal with the apparatus.

The spring started the car engine and left without a sound. The road is winding and slightly uphill, making Zena drive carefully. Shortly after their departure, the policemen arrived at the site where Zena was camped. They found a bunch of bodies with slash wounds and blunt force hits. The bodies were taken and will be examined by a forensic team.

"It looks like there's just been a fight in this place, looking at this fresh blood" said one man after he grabbed a drop of blood and kissed it.

"You're right. What a great person who managed to defeat these heartless thugs like them. I want to know who it is?" knock the other with eyes that sparkle in amazement.

"It looks like they're two people. Look at the scars on their bodies, some slashed by sharp objects and some hit by blunt objects." Someone speculated.

They scoured the river area to look for other evidence of the disappearance of the children in the box. Thought all the children were put together in boxes and plunged into the abyss just to distract them.

While Zena, who was already on the main road, breathed a sigh of relief because she had been released from the police on the river bank.

"Did you hear what those people were saying? They took the other child east. We'll catch up with them" said Zena.

Cheo nodded in understanding, he turned his head back to check on the state of all the children. They look bad, some who fall asleep may be tired. Others continued to pay attention to Zena and Cheo. He's the kid who just woke up from fainting.

"What's wrong? Why do you keep staring at us like that?" cheo asked a little unhappy.

The boy's face looked solemn, his eyes narrowed probing. It was as if the two of them were criminals that needed to be suspected.

"none. I only remember the story of my father, he once said first .. very long ago when he was a child there was once a brave little girl who did not hesitate to crush crime. That's all, '" he said for sure.

Those little eyeballs shining radiated the honesty of his heart. She's innocent, innocent, but she looks brave.

"You look brave, but why did you faint?" look at Cheo with a puckering on his forehead.

The boy snorted while turning his face. At first glance his face showed shame, both of his cheeks were red.

"I'm a fire phobia," she said slowly.

Cheo frowned, kicking his shoulders indifferently while turning forward. Noticing Zena who was seriously driving, her eyes focused straight forward scanning around.

"I know, we're going east. There is a port of ships connecting the countries" the boy replied in no doubt from his tone.

"You hear me, brother? The car carrying the children is likely to go to the port. They're going to cross" Cheo told Zena.

The girl heard it, glancing at all the children through the rearview mirror while making sure of their situation.

"Handle! We're gonna speed," Zena ordered, stepping on the gas pedal even deeper.

Cars are getting faster, children sitting on the bed looking for anything to hold. They locked their mouths shut so as not to scream because Cheo asked for it.

"What's that car up ahead?" ask Zena.

His eyes were so watchful that he could see a container speeding slowly in front of his path.

"Really! That's them!" exclaim the boy loudly.

"Okay, the rescue mission begins! Get ready kids!" Zena accelerated the speed of the car chasing the car in front of her.

The narrow road makes it unable to overtake, so just follow behind the car. Unfortunately, nothing replaces driving. Asking Cheo to barge in there, it felt impossible.

"Sister, that car .... Do they know we're tailing?" cheo asked while watching the speed of the car in front of him.

Before long, the container stopped. Zena rushes on the brakes before getting too close. Two armed men with long barrels descended, circling the container before approaching their cars.

The muzzle of the gun was knocked on the car window, asking Zena to get down. Cheo closed the barrier, gathered with the other children. He asked them to hide under a bed adjacent to the Tigris enclosure.

The car door slammed, Zena stepped down without hesitation.

"Your truck is blocking my way. Can you move it?" zena pointed to the container that was spending the road.

He's good at covering up his nervousness .The man glanced forward, it was true that the giant car was blocking the road.

"Check the car!" tell the other one.

The gunman circled Zena's van. As much as possible he held back, hiding the anxiety that filled his heart. Zena clenched both hands behind her body, trying to act ordinary in front of the other men.

The door was opened, just as the man was about to ascend the Tigris appeared while revealing its sharp fangs. He backed off, gawking briefly into confirming the contents of Zena's car. Keep walking backwards and shut the door again. Report the car to his friend.

Without saying a word, he invited his partner to leave. Get back in the truck and run it. Zena breathed a sigh of relief.

"You all right?" ask Zena without opening the barrier.

"We're fine, brother," replied Cheo. The Tigris returned to the cage and the boys came out of their hiding place.

The journey continues, accompanied by waves in the ocean. The strong sea breeze, reminded Zena of the island she left behind. Some while driving Zena frowned when she saw the container turn into a hilly area.

There's no way he's gonna follow them in that car, is he? Forced Zena to keep going and find a safe place to hide her car. The forest has always been a home for him, where there is a forest where he finds a home.
