Crying is a way that can be done when we do not know to express how longing that has been burning all this time. And that's what Meira's been doing since she got to Gilang's room. Even the school uniform was still attached to his body.

He hid his face in Gilang's arm. He was crying, not because of the crybaby. Except for two things, crying happily because Gilang was conscious and also, his chance with Alka might not be there anymore.

“You cried already half an hour lo, An. No pain, no, eyes?”

Meira shook her head in response to Gilang on the guy's arm. “I miss the same Sister, hiks.”

The open door diverted Gilang's attention from Meira who was still sobbing small in his arms. Nine tall men in The Lion's proud denim jacket came in with a fruit parcel in Dimas's hand.

“Welcome back, Brother Crazyaaaa!!” dimas' cheerful cry echoed as he entered the room, coinciding with Meira looking up and turning around.

“Less ‘NG’ human curse!” galang protest against Dimas.

Dimas. The guy with pretty neat undercut hair was whiny and then approached on the nightstand to save his parcel. “Megir dong, Neng. Now it's Dimas's turn off the same kangen A’a.”

Alka and the seven remaining core The Lion only shook their heads looking at Dimas' attitude.

“Apply, Dim.” Although upset, Meira still stood up from a chair near Gilang's gurney. Let Dimas take his place.

“Besides Dimas no one misses me? Like just, nih, the most enthusiastic boy,” said Gilang with a glance at Dimas who had rested his chin looking at him with a smile. A smile that was for the sake of anything disgusting in Gilang's eyes.

Good and Devan laughed a little and walked over to Gilang. “Welcome back, friends,” said Devan hugged Gilang at a glance.

“Do not sleep again lo! Thesis task nunguin.” Good joined Gilang and then followed by Ezra, Arnold, Adnan, Malik, and Tian.

"Welcome back, Mamen!"

"Cepet recovered so he could fight jotos again."

"We're a party, well, this abis. Don't want to know!"

"Brozen anyway!"

Gilang chuckled in response to the words of his friends before his gaze fell on Alka who was staring at him with an illegible look. Gilang smiled. “Can I have time to talk to Alka?” ask Gilang.

They glanced at Alka at a glance then nodded. Before coming out, they still had time to congratulate Gilang. Not to forget Arnold who pulled Meira to come even though the girl refused at first.

“What's that like, Al?” asked Gilang after his hospital room only contained him with Alka.

Alka took a breath and sat down on the chair where Dimas was. He looked down, his face looked like a guilty man. “Sorry,” his softness which greeted the twitching of eyebrows by Gilang.

“Ngapain apologise? You are not wrong with me.”

Alka shakes. “Gak, Bang. I made you like this. Gu--“

“If the problem is you consider yourself guilty. Then you're wrong, Al. I never blame anyone, whether it's lo or even Sam though.”

Reviewing a faint smile, Alka looked up at Gilang. Then stand—hugging the guy who is still lying it—ala guy. “Lo is the best.”

He laughed with his laugh. “Come, bro. No need to be that.”

Alka broke her embrace and sat back down. He chuckles too. If anyone asks Alka happy or not, then Alka will firmly answer that she is very happy this time. Someone who always saves him back completes the odd of The Lion.

Although Gilang is not in school because he has become a student at UGM, but the presence of the man is always expected.

“Btw, I'm danger lo, Al, what are you talking to me that night.”

Glazed reviews amused smile. He thought Alka would be surprised, but in fact the stingy guy's expression just nodded with his coolness.

“Gue know lo denger, because I also had a coma a few days.”

Gilang. Apparently, the lingering coma made him miss a lot. Including the reason why Alka said so that night when she visited him with Meira.

“Why?” asked Gilang, the surprised look had not disappeared from his handsome face.

“Shot the same Petra.”

Gilang. Both of his hands clenched on the mattress he was on. His anger instantly overflowed. He only felt annoyed with the Wolf gang who never stopped looking for trouble with The Lion child.

“Do not think first. Wait lo good new bales. Don't worry, it's my term. You abdicated 3 years ago."

####

Meira doesn't know how she feels right now. Between happy and sad, no one dominates. Both are flat, he is happy Gilang is back and he is sad because after Gilang, Alka is the one who left his life.

Worshiping a trust that only applies as long as Gilang is not aware will certainly make Alka stay away after Gilang conscious. It is like the soldiers that the king assigns to guard the queen while traveling. Likewise with Alka, he only looked after her when the king had not yet returned from his departure.

Unknowingly, a circle of tears flowed back down Meira's smooth cheeks. His eyes were completely puffy from crying.

The heavy voice that had just sounded in her ears made Meira quickly wipe away her tears. He then inched away to the end of the garden chair as the person sat nearby.

Alka. The man in The Lion's proud jacket raised an eyebrow as Meira moved away from him. Like it wasn't Meira. The Meira he knew was Meira who always approached him to any extent Alka.

“Why go so far?” ask Alka. Her face was slightly tilted to see Meira's face which was not clearly visible because she looked down with the girl's hair dangling on each side of her face.

Meira shakes. “Gak-papa,” answers.

Clucking, Alka moved closer. But the response he got was still like that. Meira again inched away until the girl was actually at the end of the park chair.

“Gue, right, I told you. Don't say nothing, if you're actually doing something. I'm not the Good Mother who can guess the expression.”

Exhaling the tightness that gnawed at her breathing cavity, Meira raised her face and turned to Alka.

“Kakak actually why, anyway? Why do you always act like you care about me lately? If Brother does not feel anything like me, mending Brother behave like an ordinary. Don't act like you have a taste when the real thing isn't at all!"

Alka. The barrage of sentences containing those sad and upset emotions made his heart somehow beat fast. The round of tears that returned soaked the cheeks of the girl as if like a needle piercing her heart.

“Udah?”

“Hah?” Meira looked at Alka not in thought. Of the many words he said, only one word was answered by the guy. Does Alka not have an Indonesian dictionary to learn a lot of vocabulary?

Alka again moved closer until she was within one meter of Meira. “What does that phrase mean, you just gave it up? Lo lose to my attitude?” tanyakanya.

His black eyes never let go staring fixedly at Meira's moist eyes.

Meira blinked for a while. “Iya. Nyerah mei. Mei ng I lost because I can not wait again the same attitude Brother who is not clear. Entar natingin, not enough seconds felled again.” He pouted, himself still annoyed with Alka.

Nodding briefly, Alka reviewed a faint smile. It was so thin that Meira didn't notice it. Although Alka actually commented on the big smile, Alka guaranteed Meira would definitely not see it. Because since then the girl has continued to avoid Alka's gaze.

“So that's the reason you're a long way from me? Don't want to delete me?”

Meira glanced at Alka then again escaped her gaze as the guy was still staring at her. Meira shakes. “Gak. I'm just training to make it so far Brother. Kan, Kak Gilang has realized.”

Alka smears a smile. If only she could, she'd want to mess up that girl's hair. It's just that Alka still has to make sure of something.

“Do not go far!”

“Emang why if I go all the way?”

“Gak. But sinian aja.” Alka patted the empty area on the garden chair that was her distance from the current Meira.

Clucking, Alka suddenly pulled Meira's arm as the girl only glanced at the place of her clap. "Old!"

Meira throws lips. He pulled his arm from Alka. But instead of being released, Alka's hand dropped on her fingers. Tuck her big fingers between Meira's tiny fingers.

Meira rounded her eyes looking at her hand that had been tightly grasped by Alka. Afterwards, he looked back at Alka. Again Meira was surprised when she found Alka who was smiling with eyes that fell on the hands of those who clasped each other.

“Lo want to help me make something mastiin?” ask Alka. He looked at Meira's surprised face.

There was nothing else Meira could do but nod even though she did not understand what Alka's sentence meant. Meira was still in her world of shock with Alka's sudden attitude like this.

“Gue told Gilang. And now I just need your help to make sure I say.”

“A-what?” Meira. He gulped with difficulty to wet his suddenly dry throat. Don't ask me what's up with his heart. Because you already know what the answer is.

“Bby, I kiss lo?” forehead

Like lightning in broad daylight, Meira was again shocked. If he had heart disease, he might have been taken to the hospital. It sounds more, but believe me, Meira is really surprised and not out of thought.

Ignoring her shock, Meira nodded greeted with Alka's face which slowly but surely drew closer to her face. Meira's grip on Alka's undone hand tightened as the man's breath puked his face. He again gulped with a stifled breath.

As her forehead felt the coldness of the chewy thing that had just stuck, Meira closed her eyes. Enjoying his mad heartbeat and his flowery heart. In his heart he prayed, hopefully Alka would not drop him to the bottom of the ocean after flying him to the sky at this time.

“Thank you,” said Alka in front of Meira's face when her kiss came off. He smiled faintly, his doubts gone.
