1314: A Thousand Peonies Bloom

1314: A Thousand Peonies Bloom
Early Encounter

Black swords, medicines, and not forgetting goose jade, Shuwan's preparations were complete. Grandfather and his brother Jianying were already waiting for him below. Shuwan goes down and meets them.

Shuwan's grandfather, Lin Quon prepares to create a space and time seal to bridge Shuwan to the mission site.

Shuwan stood inside the seal formation preparing to set off for a different dimension. Before he left, Jianying hugged Shuwan and told him something.

“May congratulations until the mission succeeds. You should come back as soon as possible. I will pray for you from here.”

“Good, Brother. I will definitely succeed, because of the blessing of you and your grandfather. As soon as I'm done I'll be right back.”

Jianying let go of his embrace to Shuwan. Grandfather cast a spell to activate the seal formation.

A dazzling light filled the corners of the room, and a luminous door appeared before Shuwan. That door is the gate to another dimension.

Before entering the door, Shuwan turned his back and looked at his grandfather and brother with a smile.

I'll be right back.

When Shuwan had entered the door, the seal light became brighter and slowly faded away as the light door disappeared. A sign that Shuwan has entered the world in the story of his last mission trip.

Shuwan who has entered into the story of the red book begins to try to understand his situation as he arrives. Currently he was on the bank of a small river, and there was a walnut tree there.

“I should have met that guy here. Then I will wait for him on this tree,” Shuwan said preparing to climb up the walnut tree on the riverbank.

After sitting and leaning for quite a while on the tree, came a young man who was upset. Shuwan was still watching him from the top of the tree, although he knew that that person was the main character of the red book, young master Zhang.

“Basic brash! How dare that man deceive me! Who does he think he is? Hah...” said Zhang with his haughty face.

Shuwan chuckles at Zhang's arrogance, and he takes the walnut from the tree and throws it into Zhang's head like a marble, leaving Zhang shocked by it.

“Aduh...! What is this?” zhang said as he picked up the Canary that Shuwan had thrown from the tree.

“Who threw this? Did this fruit fall on its own and hit my head?” Zhang looked up and realized that there was a woman working on him.

“Hey, you! Did you throw this walnut?” zhang asked Shuwan.

Shuwan looked at Zhang from a tree. He was surprised to see Zhang's face that resembled the person he had met before, Liem.

Why are their faces the same? Does this have anything to do with Liem? Or just a coincidence? Inner Shuwan was full of astonishment.

Shuwan answered Zhang's question earlier. “If yes, then why? You should thank me for my throw that resuscitated your stupidity.”

“What did you say? A fool? Hey, do you know who you're talking to right now? Get down from up there! It's a command.”

Shuwan comes down from the tree to confront Zhang, and a debate ensues between them. Shuwan is outspoken with his words, and Zhang is easily provoked.

“Who are you I don't care, and it doesn't matter to me.”

“You...! I am the young master of the Zhang family, and you still dare to be brash?”

“Don't I tell you that I don't care about your status and position. What good is it to boast about such things? If you die, what else can you boast about? I'd better go on my way. You've interrupted my break.”

Shuwan moved from that place. Hearing Shuwan's words just now, Zhang was speechless and speechless. He then stops Shuwan.

“Hei, wait!”

Shuwan stopped his steps.

“Sorry for the attitude I did earlier,” Zhang said sincerely.

“It's okay. Besides, I'm also guilty of being nosy to you. I was like that, and for that too I'm sorry.”

Zhang smiled and said, “Yes, that's it. By the way, are you going to continue your journey? To where? Maybe I can take you?”

“Ccloud Country,” Shuwan replied briefly.

Hearing Shuwan's reply, Zhang was surprised that he had the same goal as him. He asked Shuwan again.

“Cloud Team? What are you going there for?”

“To meet someone.”

“Oh, so it seems. Turns out we have the same destination.”

Shuwan already knew everything, because he had finished the book. But he only wanted to test Zhang and follow the flow of the red book.

“Then, why do you want to go there too?” shuwan asked with a face as if he did not know the reason.

“I went there to find a cure for my disease.”

After stating the reason, Zhang put on a lethargic face. Shuwan who noticed it immediately broke the silence between them.

“Because our destination is the same, then let's go together.”

“Ah, can you?” zhang said in disbelief.

Shuwan's words reminded Zhang of the monk's words about a traveling companion he would meet on a trip.

Maybe this guy was what the monk meant. Zhang said in his heart.

“Then be well. You're right, who knows I need your help on the way.”

Shuwan smiled at Zhang.

“Oh, yes. We haven't gotten acquainted. What's your name?” ask Zhang.

“My name is Lin Shuwan, just call Shuwan.”

“Alright, Shuwan. Just call me Zhang.”

“OK. Then let's go now” take Shuwan.

“Ayo.”

During the trip, Zhang felt a strange feeling. He felt like he knew Shuwan before, but he did not speak of it and chose to keep it. He told himself that it might be his feelings.

After walking for most of the day, they arrived at a market and stopped by there to buy food supplies.

Shuwan was just staring at the riot in the market at the time. Later, Zhang asks Shuwan to wait for him at the tavern near the market entrance as Zhang is about to go shopping.

Since Zhang had been shopping for too long, Shuwan grew impatient and looked for him in the crowd of the market.

“Ck.. I didn't think men could shop all this time" Shuwan grumbled as he walked.

Seeing someone selling gulali, Shuwan was interested and stopped by the seller. Zhang, who had finished shopping, returned to the place where he had left Shuwan, until he realized that Shuwan was not there. Finally, Zhang rushed to find Shuwan.

“Shuwan... Shuwan...” shouted Zhang in the middle of the market crowd.

Zhang continued to walk to the middle of the market, and found Shuwan buying a gulali. Zhang approached Shuwan.

“Hey, you! I told you to wait in the store, right? Why is it even here?”

Shuwan looked at Zhang.

“Why did you say? If it wasn't for you shopping for so long I wouldn't be bored and choose to go.”

“What did you say? Hey, miss, I went shopping for our travel supplies and you blamed me instead?” zhang said with a high tone.

Suddenly, the gulali seller entered Shuwan and Zhang's debate.

“As a lover you still have a high ego, if only you would like to succumb to your relationship is not as fragile as it is today.”

“We are not lovers!” zhang and Shuwan said simultaneously.

The gulali seller smiled and said, “There are times when the fight makes the bond that intertwines become tighter. I'm sure you'll soon be as close as blood and flesh.”

Shuwan responded to the gulali seller's statement.

“Old sir, you should not carelessly talk. I just got to know this guy a few hours ago. How can you say that we are lovers?”

“True,” Zhang chimed in Shuwan's statement.

The gulali seller gives the gulali ordered by Shuwan and goes back to say the thing that made Shuwan and Zhang surprised.

“Things that are predestined by the Almighty are inevitable, so are the two of you. Well, you better get going now. I'd like to close my shop.”

“Hey, old man, what did you mean?” zhang asked the gulali seller.

However, the gulali seller did not respond to Zhang's question and hurried to leave after packing up his wares. He asked Zhang a question.

“You better get out of here. This place when it was dark became very dangerous. May your mission be accomplished, and may soon have a cute child. I will pray for the happiness of you both.”

“What did you say?!” Shuwan clenched his hands tightly and put on a face like he was going to kill.

"That's it, I have to go now. See you.”

The gulali seller's man waved his hand, then walked away leaving the two of them and disappeared amidst the crowd.

“Already, Shuwan. We better listen to the old man's advice.”

“Listen to which part?” shuwan asked with a murderous look.

“E.. Uh.. Part we have to leave this place soon.”

“Then come on! I'm tired of being in the crowd.”

Shuwan turns around and walks while eating the gulali he bought. Zhang followed him from behind. They rushed out of the market and went on a journey despite questions about the gulali seller.
