1314: A Thousand Peonies Bloom
Waiting Explanations

The birds chirped into soul-stirring humps in the morning. Morning dew appears to be pearls above the cuticle of the foliage. Spider nests that look fragile also become beautiful because of the pearl dew.

The door that even last night had been locked by Zhi Qiang suddenly opened.

“You bit me savagely last night, and I got hurt. Shouldn't this be your responsibility?”

Shuwan's ears feel hot as they are constantly reminded of responsibility. He then refuted Zhi Qiang's words. “Why should I be responsible? It was ‘kan your fault that hugged me. Anyway, you slept with me without permission last night. I think it's even!”

He then got off the bed to a chair near Shuwan.

“Open your shirt!” Shuwan's orders.

“So impatient you want to see my body,” seductive Zhi Qiang.

Zhi Qiang laughed softly. He then took off his top clothes.

Shuwan observes the wound he made last night. Until how big? I just bit him because I was upset. This must be because it is not directly treated. “Why didn't you treat your wounds last night? It looks not good.”

Yu Hao and Jiao seemed to blink their eyes. Yu Hao continued, Jiao yawned. They still feel sleepy and want to sleep.

“Yu Hao's... Jiao...” call Zhang again.

The two of them gasped at Zhang's voice. Those who had turned their backs on Zhang turned and looked at him.

“Zhang... You finally came to your senses too,” said Yu Hao happily.

Zhang smiled. “Did you guys take care of me all night? Your eye bags look blackened?”

“You had a fever all night Zhang. Of course we're worried. If we don't take care of you, then who?” reply Yu Hao.

Zhang directly bowed towards Yu Hao and Jiao. “Sorry... I'm really sorry to keep you guys up all night.”

Zhang felt so moved. He looked at Yu Hao and Jiao with sparkling eyes. “Thank you.” A short, meaningful speech just popped out of Zhang's mouth.

Yu Hao and Jiao replied to him with a smile.

Zhang had just realized something. Someone so important why isn't here either. “Shuwan... Where is he? Did he not come home all night?” ask Zhang.

Yu Hao and Jiao threw one another a glance. They were confused as to how to explain it to Zhang.

Finally Jiao spoke up. “Sovernight Shuwan left because there was an important affair. He's permission not to come back here.”

“Indeed where is he? What did he do until he didn't come back here?” Zhang looked so worried because Shuwan was not by his side.

“That's for today's celebration Zhang. This morning there happened to be a joint prayer, and Shuwan went for it,” Jiao said.

“So apparently.”

I'm sorry Zhang. I don't know how to explain the truth to you. There was guilt tucked into his heart. He had to lie so that Zhang would not be shocked and fall ill again. On the other hand he did not want Zhang and Shuwan's relationship to get more murky.

“Then, what are you waiting for? How about we catch him there?”

Jiao and Yu Hao were shocked. 

“Zhang, you just came to your senses. Don't force yourself to go there,” said Yu Hao.

“What Yu Hao said, Zhang. You still have to rest,” added Jiao.

“But I want to ask Shuwan for an explanation. Yesterday he had not said anything to me,” Zhang started whining.

Yu Hao and Jiao could only hold him back from going there. They knew that Shuwan would come side by side with Zhi Qiang. Fearful that if Zhang went there, it would only make him even more sick.

“Zhang... Please fulfill our request this time. Don't force yourself. You really need a break to recover quickly. And regarding Shuwan, I will call him once this joint prayer is over to talk to you,” Yu Hao said.

Zhang still thinks about Shuwan. He could hardly wait for his explanation. Shuwan, come quickly. I look forward to your explanation.
