1314: A Thousand Peonies Bloom

1314: A Thousand Peonies Bloom
Mysterious Rajawali

The morning has arrived. Shuwan returned to training with his sword.

I don't know why I had a hard time sleeping last night. Now, my eyes are no different from panda eyes. Ughhhh... It sucks...

Shuwan felt a little out of focus due to lack of sleep. He doesn't know what makes it hard to sleep.

Did my insomnia recur again? Is there a cure in this age?

After finishing his daydream, Shuwan patted both of his cheeks with his hands. “Come, Shuwan, you have to hold, and start training.”

For a long time both of his hands were patting his cheeks. Now all that was left was a red mark from his hand stamp.

Shuwan still sat down for meditation. Train his breathing to be regular, and gather his focus.

Once he finished the meditation, he continued the physical exercise as a warm-up. Like push ups, sit ups, and run in place. All this time Shuwan felt he had overindulged his physique when sick. It's time to get back to training.

His body feels lighter after physical exercise. In his right hand, it was already held a sword of hereditary pride. Shuwan held it tightly.

He also started to draw his sword. His feet stepped neatly following the hand movements. The harmonious look of the movements made by Shuwan.

Without realizing it, two pairs of eyes were watching him at the door of the house.

“Shifu, how about Shuwan's sword dance?” ask Jiao.

“He is able to adjust it nicely,” Luo Shu praised.

“Customize?” Jiao was confused because she did not really understand the art of swordsmanship. He only knows how to use it against people.

“When he's just training or not fighting anyone, the owner and his sword seem to dance like most dancers. When fighting someone, Shuwan can become a sword. The view is sharp and broad, but remains at the limit of focus.”

Jiao only muttered to hear her teacher speak.

“I'll try to test it.”

Unexpectedly, Luo Shu took out a sword that as long as Shuwan and the others there just became a display.

Luo Shu then leapt up high like a common swordsman to attack Shuwan from above all of a sudden.

Shuwan. He also repelled Luo Sshu's sword.

As for Jiao, she focused on being the spectator of the sword duel of the two people.

“If you are able to defeat me, then I will allow you to go to the palace,” Luo Shu said.

Shuwan smiled cynically. “Really? Didn't you allow it?”

“So you heard my conversation with Jiao?”

“It is not difficult just to get information. Especially in a place where there is no danger like here.”

“Because you've heard it, I'll change my decision again.” Luo Shu tried to bully Shuwan with the threat of his permission.

“Cih... You're really sneaky, Mr. Shu!”

Shuwan pushed his sword which was still holding back Luo Shu's attack coming from above the body.

Luo Shu bounced, but he did not fall. It only took a few steps back as it held back the repulsion force of Shuwan.

I can't believe he has this much power. When he was dying, I couldn't feel his training aura. But now, I retract my words.

Luo Shu was still looking at Shuwan who was a few meters away from him. He then began to step up to attack Shuwan again. Many times he tried to hit or even just make Shuwan drop his sword. But all his efforts were in vain.

Shuwan doesn't talk much when fighting. He was more focused on techniques as well as enemies in front of his eyes.

“How, Mr Shu? Have you given up? Do not let because desperate against me, your disease so relapse again.”

You brat! How dare I offend my illness. Luo Shu's inner self did not accept Shuwan's words. “I still don't want to give up. Then feel this!”

Luo Shu attacked Shuwan back abruptly. Shuwan held back his sword until it was pushed backwards.

But, again Shuwan had already thought of the trick to defeat Luo Shu.

Tricks like this, I've dealt with it many times. Don't blame me if I give you a little surprise for your fragile waist! Hehe! Inner Shuwan laughed sadistically after planning something.

Why is this boy smiling so horribly like this? What's he planning? Luo Shu became a little worried after seeing Shuwan's expression just now.

Shuwan did not put up a fight, until he was stuck in a tree in Luo Shu's courtyard.

It's time! Shuwan took advantage of his current situation. Shuwan did not remain silent. Now his legs were used to rest on the tree trunk, then he made a kayang-like leap, and landed right behind Luo Shu.

Before Luo Shu turned her head, Shuwan kicked the old man by the waist.

“Ah! My waist!” yelled Luo Shu.

“Shifu!” Jiao who had been watching was immediately running towards Luo Shu who had fallen to the ground. “Shuwan, I think this is enough. Shifu, it's been like this, do you still want to fight it?”

Shuwan threw out his breath. “Didn't he challenge me himself? So, consider this a lesson for him so as not to bargain with me.”

Jiao swallowed her saliva with great difficulty. Is he really the Shuwan I know? I can't believe it turns out that he'll be this scared if he's serious about fighting.

“Ugh!” Luo Shu tried to stand up.

Jiao who was there also helped to break it.

“You calm down at home. I won't create problems for you. After all, that kind of thing is completely useless for me.”

“Good if you understand.” Luo Shu then turned his gaze to Jiao who was there. “Jiao, can you help me pound some medicine to treat my waist?”

“Of course, Shifu!” Jiao asked Luo Shu to walk towards the house.

“Hah... There has long been another child who dared to hurt my waist. Young people really have strong stamina huh?”

“You ‘have been since long’? Was it before Shuwan that someone had done it to you too, Shifu?”

Luo Shu bowed. “That child, is my only son who is gone.”

Jiao jerks. His feelings became uneasy after making his teacher bring up that sad expression.

“Shifu, sorry. I didn't mean to make you sad.”

“Hahaha! Never mind, it's okay. Nothing in this world is eternal. In a moment, I must be dead too.”

There was a look of sadness on Jiao's face when her teacher said this. “Shifu, don't you have a brother? Why are you only staying with your servants here?”

“Hah... I've got. But they are busy with their own efforts. I am engaged in chemistry, while they, on average, strive in the business field.”

“So apparently.”

Meanwhile Shuwan was still in the courtyard of Luo Shu's residence.

An eagle with a large stature soared high in the air. Shuwan was flabbergasted after hearing the bird's voice.

“Why suddenly there is Rajawali?” Shuwan.

Without Shuwan thinking, the bird suddenly came down with a swoop to make Shuwan panic.

“B-bird it... Is he going to attack me?”

Shuwan did not think that the bird was perched on a wooden crossbar near a tree.

“I thought this bird would attack me on purpose. Turns out I was wrong.”

Shuwan closely watched the bird in front of him. Suddenly he remembered something.

“This bamboo... Why is it so similar to the one who helped me in the field (Eps. 40)? Is it true that this bird? But, how is it possible?”

There are many questions in Shuwan's mind about Rajawali. He then dropped his gaze on a scroll carried on the bird's back.

“Is this bird a mail carrier? But... Who sent it?”

Shuwan hurried to get the letter. Then he read it.

To Miss Black Goose...

I understand your situation, and I will wait for you to come to the palace. Hopefully the Old Man will soon be aware so that he can give a decision.

I really hope that you will be allowed to leave. I really want to talk to you a lot. Next to us we prepare for the celebration.

Besides, I'd like to take you to the lantern festival on the eve of the celebration. Hows it? We'll write hope there, then fly it. I really want to do it with you.

Ah... Ja. From now on you can reply to my letter with this Rajawali so that there is no need to come all the way to the palace just to deliver the letter.

Rajawali's name is San. That's my favorite Rajawali. It is usually used to send important letters. Because you're important to me now, so this bird I sent for you.

Then get here. I look forward to your presence in the palace. And... Miss you...

Marked: Library guard, Qiang’er.

“So his name is Qiang’er? Huhhhh.. The letter is too sweet.” Shuwan still remembers the last sentence, ‘I miss you.’ He tried to deny it all the way, just like he did to Zhang.

His netting again looked at the dashing Rajawali belonging to the crown prince. “Thank you for delivering this letter. I'm going inside to write the reply. You wait here huh?” shuwan pinta.

Shuwan leaves the eagle outside. He walked in to write his reply.

Arriving in the room, Shuwan immediately took a piece of paper and a brush to write it.

The brush was drawn without hesitation. Letter by letter had been etched into words, and word by word knitted perfectly into sentences.

Shuwan instantly finished it in a matter of minutes. He wrote an uncomplicated letter like the one who sent him just now.

Once done, Shuwan immediately rolled up the letter, and put it into a tube used to protect the letter.

After finishing his correspondence, Shuwan went to the kitchen, and took some small pieces of meat that he would give to the eagle.

He then returned to Rajawali who was perching, and tied the reply letter in the tube to Rajawali's back. Just like the sender did before.

“Well, you deliver this to your master,” Shuwan said after finishing tying it. “Dan, this is a bonus for you.” Shuwan fed the eagle with the meat he had brought.

As soon as he finished devouring one by one the flesh Shuwan gave him, the eagle flew freely to the horizon, and dropped a black and white feather.

Shuwan grabbed the feather, and he noticed it. “This hair is exactly the same. Is it possible that the bird helped me? But, how could it happen by chance just like that?”

Shuwan is still confused, his neutrality is then directed at Rajawali who starts to move away and disappear in the morning fog.
