Street Kids

Arriving at home, Arion parked the original motorbike in his spacious yard with a garden decorated with grass and a variety of beautiful plants.

There was a woman who was waiting for him to sit in the long chair in the park. Selena, that woman's name is Selena. The mother of Arion who looks so fond of his only son. He's the only grandson of the family of the owner of a famous property company in town.

Selena stood up and ruffled her waist to look at the boy. His eyes became more and more rounded when he learned that there was a slight cut on Arion's left cheek.

"You've been fighting?" ask her by holding her son's cheek.

"Auh ... sick Ma!"

Selena stared at Arion's growl, "You don't want to answer Mama's question?"

"So suddenly someone hit Arion Ma. It will heal itself too! Why was Arion sent home so quickly? Arion is not finished ...."

"Not done feeding those street kids again, have you?" Selena held onto her forehead. "Arion, you're Grandpa's only hope for his company. If your time is always spent taking care of street children, what is the fate of our family?"

Arion rubbed his face. "Ma, Arion doesn't like working in an office like that. Let it be Grandpa's business. Arion has nothing."

He just left Selena. "Where are you going?" Selena pulled her son's hand.

"It's their lunch Ma, they must be starving for Arion."

Selena scratched her head, "Enough Arion! You think of your future, don't keep thinking of street children, beggars, vagabonds that are none of your business!"

"Mom think Arion has no future? Arion feeds them and doesn't ask for Mama and Grandpa's money. Arion is all that lacquered. If Mama tells Arion to come home for it, Arion can't help it," Selena looks very furious. Arion just left.

He was too focused on the music store business he had been in since college. Small businesses are now big. His love for music became one of a thousand reasons his heart was moved to help street children who busked carelessly.

The urge from his family to take care of the company somehow made him even more rebellious. Not his skill, was the excuse he always used to resist.

"Sir Arion ..." call one of the children who huddled there. Arion smiled and ran towards them carrying a large bag of crackles filled with the rice.

"You hungry already?" The children nodded while licking their lips. "Sorry Brother, there's still business! Eat up!" He gave them one by one the rice.

"Aden, may I ask for my wife's child at home?" ask one of the old scavengers who approached him.

"Oh sure."

He gave four packs of rice to the scavenger. It was their line of smiles and sparkling eyes that made him like the happiest human being in the world.

"Aren't you eating?" ask the girl whose mouth is full. He stroked the boy's head.

"Everything's gone?"

"Already," shouted in unison.

"Yes, I've eaten this one!"

Happiness was clearly on their faces. Arion was like an angel who had been with them all this time. His presence in the midst of the deterioration of the situation makes them so fond of his figure.

"So I could read without being spelled."

Arion's eyes sparkled, "Oh huh?"

"Hey,"
