That morning Olivia woke up from her sleep and pulled her hand up to her hand muscles, as she turned her face the first time she saw was Lewis's.

Olivia still seemed to be soundly asleep while Lewis had woken up, because she was not used to making him only be able to accompany Olivia without being able to close his eyes again.
