After agreeing to a request from her grandfather, that day Olivia went to a restaurant to meet the man she was going to be betrothed to.
If it wasn't for his grandfather how would he do such a thing? Can't she find her own boyfriend?
She's not an ugly girl, she's still young. She doesn't need to be betrothed but what to say, all Olivia did for her grandfather.
With her personal driver, Olivia headed to a Japanese restaurant in California.
He did not know what kind of man to introduce to him that he must definitely meet the man first so that they know each other then they talked about the matchmaking between them further.
Upon arriving, Olivia immediately entered the restaurant and Olivia was taken to an exclusive room by employees there because indeed the man she was going to meet had booked a place for them to meet.
Olivia sizzled in her heart as she entered the room and there appeared a man sitting in a seiza style on the tatami floor in front of a kotatsu table, a typical Japanese dining table.
"Sadly, living in America but Japanese pretentious style." he hissed inwardly.
Quickly, Olivia immediately stepped closer to the man.
"Sorry long wait." Olivia sat down in front of the man she was going to marry.
But by the time she saw the man who was enjoying green tea Olivia's eyes were wide in shock.
"You!" he said not to believe.
"Miss Olivia you're finally here" said the man casually.
Olivia was holding onto her forehead, how could the man she was going to meet be the man she met on the street yesterday?
The man he had burned his car, what the fuck?
"I'm sorry, I think I'm in the wrong room." Olivia got up to her feet but the man restrained Olivia with his words.
"You're Olivia Smith, right? The grandson of Michael Smith?"
Olivia paused her intentions and sat back down.
"Yes." she answered quickly.
"Then you're not in the wrong room." the man went back to sipping his green tea casually.
"Don't tell me you're Lewis Simone?" asked Olivia not to believe it.
"You're right." Lewis replied casually.
"Oh my God, the world is very narrow." Olivia grumbled softly.
"So Olivia Smith let's talk about our further matchmaking" Lewis told her.
"Later, I'm hungry."
Olivia called the waiter there without waiting for a response from Lewis, her stomach was more important than the man.
Olivia ordered some sushi and a bowl of ramen. To look polite Olivia followed Lewis style sitting, sitting seiza style even though she was not so able.
Ten minutes in silence Olivia was already visibly riled up, her legs had started tingling because of the style of sitting that not everyone could.
Lewis was silent to watch Olivia who already looked agitated because of her legs and without a second thought Olivia immediately straightened her legs and scowled her while grumbling.
"Geez my feet, I'm going crazy sitting like this for so long." - annoyed.
A smile expands on Lewis' face when he sees Olivia's behavior, even the girl raises her legs in the air and kicks her so that her leg cramps quickly disappear.
"You don't have to force yourself to Olivia" Lewis said casually.
"Hey Lewis, could we meet somewhere else next time?" pinta Olivia's upset.
"Of course, we can eat other Japanese restaurants."
At that time the food ordered Olivia had come, quickly Olivia began to eat because she was already hungry while Lewis only noticed it.
"Hey why don't you eat?" ask Olivia curiously.
"No, I've been eating food from my lover."
Olivia stopped eating and stared at Lewis intently. If you already have a lover why follow this matchmaking?
"Hey you! If you already have a lover, you should quickly refuse this matchmaking!!" olivia was upset.
"I really wanted to but I couldn't because of my grandfather's sick condition."
"Damn, you're baw*ci! you are a man, a man must be a leader. I really don't want to get stuck in your mood and I never like to be considered a destroyer of other people's relationships" Olivia said in a fit of annoyance.
Lewis just looked at Olivia with his sharp gaze, he wanted to see what Olivia Smith was like? The girl chosen by her grandfather.
He had heard a lot about the Smith family from his grandfather, even when his grandfather asked him to get engaged to Olvia made Lewis a little surprised, plus their accidental meeting on the street made him even more shocked.
The girl who dared to burn her car turned out to be the girl she was going to be betrothed to, maybe true, said Olivia Smith, the world is narrow.
Olivia put the glass on the table rough, she immediately wiped her mouth after finishing eating while Lewis was still looking at her sharply.
"If you can't refuse this match, then I will try to persuade my grandfather, I won't interfere with your relationship with your lover."
Olivia was about to get up, but Lewis held her back.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm just joking with you."
"Hey Lewis, what do you mean?" Olivia looked upset.
"I don't have a boyfriend and I just want to see your reaction" Lewis replied casually.
"Wow, how dare you want to see my reaction? Lewis Simone, who do you think you are?" Olivia glared at Lewis and stared intently.
Did he just shoot his head? It felt like he wanted to do so much but he still had common sense.
"Olivia Smith, so for our grandfather's sake what if we followed their desire to stay one roof for 30 days?"
Olivia looked at Lewis sharply as well as Lewis, they threw their gazes at each other.
"After 30 days what will we do next?" ask Olivia.
"Just say if we don't fit in and ask our grandfather to cancel our match, after all we have no feelings for each other so after 30 days we go back to being strangers, after all, don't know each other."
Olivia thought for a moment, maybe this is better. After all just 30 days after that he would not see the man again and would not he have thus fulfilled the request from his grandfather?
After all, the matchmaking was not based on coercion, the two of them only followed their grandfather's request to stay one roof for 30 days.
"All right, I agree."
Olivia reached out her hand towards Lewis while the man immediately welcomed her hand and held it.
"Again" said Lewis confidently.
"Remember after 30 days do not look for me, even if we happen to meet or we meet on the street do not call each other, must return to be strangers and do not know each other." pinta Olivia.
"As you wish Olivia Smith." Lewis replied.
That day the two men made a deal between them to follow their grandfather's request.
As per the agreement, they will stay one roof for 30 days and it will be done in a moment.
