Sky sighed as Alana insisted on asking to part ways. Even though he had been trying to melt the woman's heart, even willing to leave work on his personal assistant when his company almost bankrupt just to follow wherever Alana went. But after all her efforts so far, Alana still wants to separate.
"Al, I don't think the problems between us exist. Mom Sandra called me and told me about Rachel's DNA test. The boy's not Al's, so all our problems are clear."
"Oh yeah...?" Alana just responds casually without the slightest interest, because before Sky knows the results of the DNA test Alana already knows it first. And the guess is right, the fetus in Rachel's womb doesn't belong to Sky. "But the news won't change my decision."
Sky again sighed, and this time it was heavier and longer. "What mistake have I made so fatal that you won't give me a chance? I never cheated on you, Al. Even now it's been proven that Rachel's child isn't mine." Sky is still trying to melt Alana's heart so that the stubborn woman will consider her decision again.
"For me it's fatal. It's not because of Rachel's problem or you're having an affair or not. But trust me, you don't trust me Sky." Alana sighed while sitting on the bed. "If I forgive your mistakes, we can't be together anymore."
"What makes us unable to be together anymore?" Sky kneeled before Alana, clasping the woman's hand with an intense gaze on Alana's beautiful face. For some reason there was something different about Alana's face lately, as if there was an aura that made her unable to get away from the woman in the least.
"Mrs Sandra." Lirih Alana's.
"Mom...?" Sky frowned in confusion.
"Yes, Mother. Our relationship will never come back because of your mother. I can't forgive what Mrs Sandra did. It hurts Sky." Alana held onto her chest that felt tight. "Your mother insulted me, turned her back on me, and slapped me in front of my own silent husband who did not stand up for me at all."
Yeah, that's the main reason Alana doesn't want to go back with Sky. Because if she comes back with Sky it means having to accept her husband's family including Mrs Sandra of course. And Alana couldn't do that, because the pain was so deep.
"The two old men who raised me never slapped me. But Madame Sandra dared to slap me just because of Rachel." Lirih Alana again with sobbing. "He defends strangers more than I am his own son-in-law."
"Al.., Mom and I are really sorry, dear." Sky wanted to wipe away Alana's tears, but her hand had already been knocked down.
"I'll never be able to forgive Mrs Sandra, and that means I'll never be able to come back to you." Let Alana be said to be a vengeful man. She doesn't care because in reality everything Sandra does is very imprinted in her memory.
Sky is now silent because he does not know what else to do to make his heart melt. She knew the disappointment that Alana felt to her and Mom Sandra, had already made the woman return to being a cold and heartless woman. The woman who made the fortress high by covering her conscience just for not wanting to get hurt again.
"Unless you want to do one thing for me."
"What's that?" Sky who had almost given up was now back excited.
"Stop your relationship with the Dwights forever."
"What?" screeched Sky in great surprise.
