99 Love for You

99 Love for You
Season 3 - Part 02

My morning went as usual like a wife who prepares her husband's equipment to go to the office and also make breakfast.

I was still struggling in the kitchen when Rangga headed to the dining table while carrying my phone.

"Your mother called" he said.

I immediately wiped my hand and grabbed the phone in Rangga's hand.

"Hello, Mom, what's wrong?"

"............"

"Yes, mom. I'll work. Alright."

Call ended.

"What's wrong?" ask Rangga.

"Mom asked me to come by the house."

"Oh, maybe he misses you."

"Hmm, yes." I replied with a smile. I already know the purpose of my mother calling me. But I better not have to worry Rangga.

After breakfast, I drove Rangga to the front door. As usual, he always kissed me before leaving.

"Be careful" I said.

"Yes, you too."

I sighed after I no longer saw Rangga's car.

Usual. Too ordinary. My activities are too monotonous every day.

Maybe if there's a child... Aah, I thought about that again. Never mind, I'll get ready and see my mom. I hope he doesn't talk to me about children anymore.

Arriving at my mother's house, the atmosphere of the house felt lonely. It seems like my mother is not home.

I spread my eyes towards the house next to my mother's house. The rented house that was occupied by Ismail.

She moved in with Hana. Ismail was transferred to Bandung. Hana is pregnant now. They must be very happy to soon have a baby.

While busy reminiscing about the past with Ismail, suddenly my phone rang. A message from mom.

He was with his fellow artists. I rolled my eyeballs lazily.

I didn't let my mom get back to work. Cafe business, I take care of everything.

What will people say if they know my mother still continues to work hard, while she has the daughter-in-law of a CEO of a large company. It would definitely tarnish the image of Rangga as well.

I decided to wait for Mom on the front porch. I sat there enjoying the wind.

This afternoon is not too hot. Shade like my heart. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the wind that hit my face.

"You've been waiting a long time?"

Mother's voice made me re-open my eyes.

"Mother? Already home?"

I kissed my mother's back.

"Let's go in! I brought you something."

Mother pulled my hand with a very bright expression. I don't know what that means.

"What is this, ma'am?" manya curious.

"Listen, my mom's friend said it's a very powerful drug."

I frowned. Although I still felt strange about mother's explanation, but I tried to listen to her first.

"You should drink it before going to bed. This will make you pregnant faster..."

DEG

As I have calculated. Must be about this. Again and again.

I just smiled bitterly. But I'm trying to honor my mother and I'm taking a gift from her. I know you're just trying to help me. I appreciate that.

"Thank you, ma'am. I'll drink it."

"Yes. Good luck, yeah. Uh, uh, how many times a week do you do that with Rangga?"

I'm glaring. "Mother!!!"

"Hehe, I was just kidding. Rangga is young and it looks like he's very strong huh."

"Mother! What the hell?" My face is red as a tomato if I keep on serving my mother.

I'd better go to the cafe.

"Mom, I have to go to the cafe. Thanks for the gift." I kissed my cheek then the back of my mother's hand, then passed away from there.

I set my hunting breath. I don't know why it feels so embarrassed to have to discuss the issue of bed with others.

"Astaghfirullahaladhim's chat. Isn't it just the husband and wife who know? Did mom get along too much with her fellow tourists to have to interfere in my personal affairs and Rangga." I shook my head slowly.

I immediately drove my car to the cafe. Since Ranga was so busy, she allowed me to drive my own car.

When I got to the cafe, it was lunch time. The cafe began to be visited by visitors.

The concept of a cafe that I once only focused on providing snacks, I added with several heavy food menus to increase the number of visitors. And it worked.

I walked into the cafe and greeted some loyal visitors who already knew me. I smiled and greeted them all.

But suddenly my steps stopped when someone was about to get out of the cafe.

The man smiled at me. A smile I haven't seen in years because everything has changed.

He carries some plastic crackles that contain seafood sandwiches. It was his favorite for years.

Why my heart? Shouldn't be beating like this.

"Cecilia.." said when he saw me.

I should what? Tell me what should I do?

"Hi, Mas Alvian.." I'm nervous.
