Aesira Destiny

Aesira Destiny
Part 2

... Hearing that, Jazira pulled back her body.

“What do you mean by destiny?”

The same laughter again filled the altar with broken glass scattered everywhere and Jazira hated it so much.

“Let me explain with a little story.”

Flood of blood, people slaughtered. The leader of the royal palace died horribly to ashes as the heart of his power was drawn by a sword that was covered in holy power from the tears of princess Arsh.

The revenge of the Emir King was satisfied when he saw that none of the humans from Udaya exhaled. But who would have thought, unbeknownst to him, he let a descendant of the leader Udaya escape. A three-year-old boy who had to leave his beloved home. The boy managed to escape thanks to the help of a nanny who put him in a mirror and then, led him to the waterfall.

“Are you not a very smart daughter, of course you can know the continuation of my story.”

Jazira was silent as he clenched his hands tightly.

“So, you've been watching me all this time?! Why don't you go out and hide as a coward, he?!" the princess's growl.

“It should have been from the beginning that I destroyed your hideout! Get away from me and return me to the palace!” yelled Jazira who was starting to get angry.

“Calm down, Princess. I haven't spent my story.”

The babysitter of King Karhu—, the ruler of Udaya, disguised her face and went across the border of Udaya and the Land of Uttara, where humans had the skill to control fire after successfully obtaining a mirror containing the prince. The nanny secretly enters Arsh as a spy. He searches through all the information to be able to obtain a spell to free all the soldiers from Queen Mina's black portal. The caretaker did something that could endanger her life only to save her son and husband who were trapped inside the portal. For years she survived in the palace and became the nanny of Arsh's first disabled daughter.

Jazira's eyes rounded as the man explained the last sentence.

“Zaramama ..” said Jazira very softly but, managed to be heard by the man.

“Yes! You didn't mention anyone wrong, Princess. Your confidant is nothing but a traitor. You have to accept that.”

Zaramama is not desperate to find various information. Until one day, he secretly sneaked into the library that was predicted to belong to Queen Mina first. Had not found any clues in the room but, the miracle came when Zaramama leaned against the wall to rest. The wall took Zaramama to another room. The room was covered in a dense black fog. While on the ceiling, a book floated and emitted a flash that made Zaramama thrown out of the room. Out of curiosity, Zaramama took a long look at the book in the secret room through the records of Queen Mina. It was written, that the book contains the portal opening spell that can only be taken and read by the original tutelage of Queen Mina.

For some reason, whenever Zaramama directed Arsh's eldest daughter to the personal library of the late Queen Mina, she always failed. For years, until it falls on a solar eclipse. The princess, who had set her age at 21, took the portal's opening spell book herself and read it without Zaramama's intervention. And as a result of the spell, the mighty warrior and the proud black dragon Udaya can be set free.

“You are the prince of Udaya Kingdom, right? It's not better if you just finish me off because my father used to finish off your father, he?!” jazira's growling challenge.

“It will be very easy to do that just by swinging the stick once. But ...” The man stroked the end of his wand that was stuck in a black crystal. “As per the predestined prophecy, you are the one who should lead Udaya, Putri.”

“I don't want to! I'd rather die than be your leader!” threatening Jazira full of emphasis.

“That's up to you, after all, since you're paralyzed, does anyone think you're alive and care about you? In fact, your own father always favored your beautiful sister over you. Don't cover up the fact that you hate everyone in that palace, Princess,” said the black-robed man brainwashing Jazira.

Jazira took his eyes off the man's face. He held back the roar crammed into his chest.

“He was right, all these years, I just considered trash! Father ... The only person I expected to love, instead gave all of his love to my concubine and step-sister. As much as I try, I don't want to look at my hard work. In fact, in front of everyone, she said that Arlinda was her only daughter!”

“No man is clean from stains, Princess. How much you want to be good but, in the eyes of the wrong people, your kindness turns meaningless. Honestly, you envy your sister ‘kan?”

Jazira gave the man a gaze as sharp as an eagle.

“What do you want?” tukas Jazira is short.

The man drew his lips close to Jazira's ears. “Mauku? You take revenge on the people who hurt you.”

The chief prince of Udaya was away from Jazira's side. Then, their gazes collided.

“Yes! Isn't that what I wanted from the beginning?”

“Wait!” Jazira's face turned full of investigation.

“Are you that easy to give me the power of Udaya when you yourself are the prince of this terrible country? What do you mean, he? What plans are you putting up behind me?!”

Apparently, it's not that easy to fool a girl like Jazira. The man sat on the shadow chair and shook his head slowly.

“Hei! Aren't you in your right mind for too long locked in that mirror?!”

“My plan is to make you ruler of this country. You didn't know? In you is stored a great power from your mother, with you leading Udaya, you can destroy Arsh to avenge your heartache. That's a break-even thing, isn't it?”

“Strength? Do you know where it came from? Even I don't know about it!”

“Ramalan! Forecasts my father wrote.” The Prince of Udaya moved his staff, then there was a row of writings in the air that was the intended prophecy. A second later, the line of writing disappeared.

“What will you get after handing over your rights to me?”

Prince Udaya was silent.

“Do you accept my offer?” ask Prince Udaya then without answering Jazira's question first.

Jazira was silent for a while and said his decision.

“Ya!” jazira said loudly. “By my heartache, I accepted your offer.”

The Udaya prince smiled with satisfaction.

“However, there is one condition in return for granting my throne to you. Of course, in this world there is no such thing as free, Mr. Putri.”

“I have to marry you?” guess the princess quickly. And that made Prince Udaya surprised.

“I found out while reading the contents of your father's prophecy.”

This girl before him was evidently not to be underestimated. Though only a matter of seconds but, the girl was able to memorize one sheet of her father's prophecy.

“In that prophecy, I will marry you. But, I will change it by not marrying you. Your father's prediction this time is wrong, Pengeran Udaya. Don't expect more if I want to be with you.”

“My father's forecast never missed in time,” timpal Prince Udaya. He flicked his finger and made an old man with a long beard suddenly appear from the wind.

The old man carried a black container the size of a bowl towards the two. The container floated between Jazira and Prince Udaya. From behind his arm, the old man took a small knife and then, scratching it in the hands of Jazira and Prince Udaya alternately. Then, a drop of their blood gathered on the container. Jazira was confused by what really happened, especially when the Prince of Udaya repeated the words of the old man beside him in a language that he did not know at all.

The bowl of blood they both suddenly disappeared somewhere. Then, the long-bearded man wrapped their hands together with a single strand of red cloth connected. Then, the man vanished after retreating.

Remember what has been through. Jazira looked at Prince Udaya with many questions in his eyes.

“You married me to Udaya custom without telling me?!” yelled Jazira did not accept.

“You know that, why did you just shut up not to refuse until our wedding was over?”

“I'm thinking!” timpal Jazira half yelled.

“You're smart, it's easy enough for you to think about all this, right?”
