The breath sounds up and down. Sweat lined up in the last hair, plunging into a small river on the surface of the cheeks. The palm of the hand rose rubbed the neck that was no less flooded by sweat.
“Sial! I dreamed it again!” objurgation.
Both of his eyes were moving around. The seats were empty without the owner sitting there. The whiteboard contains the missing complicated formulas erased. He snorted.
“Again I was left!”
He yawned for a moment, stretching out both his arms vigorously to take his energy back. Then, his feet shifted the chair and moved. He sambangi window that radiates twilight that carries the golden. Instantly, the gently flowing wind made strands of shoulder-length hair fly to various sides, as well as the sweat on his body slightly reduced. He continued to stifle at the skillful sight of the open window. The sound of fan rotation crammed the room so as not to be too quiet. He cupped his hands on the window trellis and pondered.
“Why ... the woman ..” She clucked then, ruffling her hair up.
His face was facing the orange sky there, saying one word.
“Who are you really?” pepas lirih.
His head dropped off right into the traffic jam at the hour the workers came home from the office. The roar of the machine and a few horns broke the silence in his mind.
“Aesira!”
That blonde girl turned around quickly.
“Hum?” replied the girl lazy.
“You're awake apparently? I thought you were going to sleep all night here.” The girl in sports uniform and hanging a bow on her shoulder approached the table next to Aesira.
“Why didn't you wake me, Rui?”
“As usual, they don't allow it,” said Rui as he tidied up Aesira's books scattered in various corners.
“Again ..” said Aesira while lowering one shoulder. He follows Rui to pick up his books and gather them on the table.
“What dream came again and made you unable to wake up from her sleep, Aesira?” ask Rui to make sure.
Without further ado but a little embarrassed, Aesira nodded surely.
“Ah! It sucks! Why does she always ask for help with dying? In fact, he could be in my dreams for hours! Argh! Can he get out of my life and let me not sleep too long? He made my life a mess!” The girl grumbled to the point of not realizing that Rui had already tidied her books into a bag.
“Ayo, home. Don't you have to prepare the ingredients to make the cake?”
“O yes! I just forgot, Rui! You're this! Always remember what I have to do.” Aesira patted Rui's shoulder slowly.
“You are indeed my best friend.”
Their legs side one by one the stairs together to make a rhythm that is in harmony. Their mouths add to the noise in the hallway of the stairs. In the midst of chatting, Aesira pecked at the sight of the tall man standing right at the end of the stairs.
Knowing the strange behavior of his best friend, Rui clasped Aesira's hand and pulled her to get out of the way, in order to give access to the man.
The moment the man passed the two up to the top floor, Aesira was downcast and only saw the shoes of the man she liked disappear from her sight.
“You know, Ae .. earlier in class, when you fell asleep, he protected you when the gangs of sorcerers pranked me,” whispered Rui and made Aesura instantly turn her face to the man who spiked the stairs up there.
“He protected me?” ask Aesira lirih. He who thought his words did not sound Rui was surprised because the girl on the one step below answered,”Iya, Ae. He even took his chair and sat down next to you. You know, the thing that impressed me even more, he gritted to everyone so as not to dare disturb your curse sleeping hours.” Both of Rui's eyes twinkled, he raised his head a few centi upwards.
“Wow! It's like the love story I read, Ae!” Rui turned to Aesira who was even mediocre expression towards Rui's extraordinary expectations.
Aesira pushes the origin of Rui's shoulders and almost makes Rui's body look and fall down, lucky that Aesira looks attractive.
“You want to kill me?” rui's question was answered with laughter by Aesira.
“You're angry just because I almost made you fall?”
Rui tetiba laughed. “I'm just kidding!” he said then, mengoel Aesira's shoulder back.
The lightening of the two friends marked their arrival at the crossing. Aesira stopped her steps while the middle light turned green. The girl placed her eyes on the pensive man in the window of her third-floor class.
“Didn't he go home?” tanyakanya.
“Kay does like that, that's it. Let's cross. Or we'll be left behind bis.”
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Rui escorted Aesira to her house. They did not go straight into the house and walked towards the cake shop that was across the street.
“Eh, Rui,” greet Sophia. Mother of Aesira.
“Hai, Aunt.”
“Aesira almost forgot to shop again, huh?” sophia asked as she placed the girls' grocery bags on the table.
Aesira chuckled, making Sophia flutter in astonishment. In between Sophia made them snacks. Aesira and Rui sat in the customer's waiting chair. There, Aesira records the final hour lesson she missed. It didn't take long, Aesira finished taking notes and returned Rui's book.
“What Ae fell asleep again in class, Rui?” sophia asked who came with two cups of hot chocolate and a plate of cookies fresh out of the oven.
“Like that Ae, Aunt. He could not miss his blackout-like nap,” fought Rui while entering his book.
Sophia who was sitting in front of them, looked at Aesira so worriedly.
“Actually what makes you like this, Son?”
Capturing the anxiety that was present from behind the mother's eyes, Aesira quickly appreciates. “Ah, mom. Don't always worry about this. I'll be fine,” Aesira said with her mouth devouring pastries into her mouth.
“But, there's no one as weird as you, son.” The word ‘aneh’ thrown by his mother made half of Aesira's pastry fall into the hot chocolate solution because he did not immediately lift it.
“Yes, I was weird,” said Aesira listlessly.
Sophia leaned her back and defended her breathing slowly. The 30-year-old woman recalled Aesira's birthday 16 years ago. At that time, the gestational age had passed ten months but, there were no signs of birth. The doctor checked if Sophia was very good and asked Sophia to go home. Two days later, Sophia gave birth to her baby, but doctors said the baby died. He could not believe and was sure if the baby was still alive. Two hours later, the miracle came and made the initially stiff baby cry loudly when it was about to be cleaned by the medical team. Suddenly, it made one hospital nervous because of this news. Believe it or not, Sophia who was still weak approached the princess who was still flushed and wept bitterly.
Upon arriving home, she was warmly welcomed by her husband's extended family. However, the baby's great-grandmother had other feelings than the others. The great-grandmother said,
“Baby born of death, will carry the curse.”
At first, many people did not believe the words of their great-grandmother. But, one by one the people closest to Sophia died. Sophia seemed to be captivated by the will of the grandmother. It was the death of the husband that convinced him of his belief in the care of his great-grandmother if the birth of Aesira brought a curse. However, until now, Sophia had never told Aesira this because, that girl had grown too much with many wounds. Many people ridicule him by saying that the child is a pesky carrier and should be shunned from public face. Unwilling to mentally damage her daughter, Sophia chooses to move to the city to support also using her daughter from mental crimes. There, he built a cake shop as a connector of life. Despite living in simplicity in the middle of the city, he has a lot of good people who do not hesitate to help him, one of them is Rui's parents who until now were very with him and Aesira.
“Perhaps, after various roads we go through and remain without results. You have to find your own way so you can heal, Ae.”
Rui placed her hand onto Aesira's arm.
“I will accompany you to find that path, Ae,” said Rui enthusiastically. Aesira nodded confidently.
