Aesira Destiny

Aesira Destiny
The Part 28

Their steps hurriedly climbed the hall tile towards the underground library that had long been unable to get a visit. The last time, only Princess Elma came to this place, it was already two years ago.

When the door seal was successfully opened, the stuffy and dusty welcome. No ventilation can illuminate. Because actually, this place used to be a place for prisoners. The entire book is deliberately hidden for rescue from a major war so that the records about Arsh's ancestors are not lost.

The princess brought the end of her torch which was engulfed in fire to several torches attached to the wall. Slowly, the darkness disappeared. Books welcomed their eyes.

“Then, the King of Emirs said that Queen Mina kept a book that she deliberately left for Princess Jazira. The book contained various spells that could only be opened and read by the descendants of Queen Mina, that was what Zaramama said first. After Princess Jazira disappeared, the book returned to its place of origin.” Princess Elma paused her words while walking through the back of a book lined up neatly on the shelf.

“Truly I don't know if the book is here or not. But, we have to try to find him,”.

“Good, Princess.” Margaretha turned around and gave the command for everyone to scatter to the side of the library with these hundreds of books.

After hours of work ravaging the library, they found nothing but meaningless futility.

“This is ridiculous, how could a book like that be in this kind of place?” said Princess Elma in a listless tone.

“Already, maybe there is no other way to stop the plans of Ratu Udaya this.”

Seeing everyone present, Aesira sighed. He lowered his head with fingers busy arranging books on the floor. However, his activity later stopped. The girl stood up and made everyone's attention point to her.

“If it's a city library, twenty steps southwest from here there's a door leading to the bathroom.” Aesira walked while counting the number of steps up to the number he mentioned.

Aesira palpated the wall in front of her and pushed a bit of her surface. Instantly the sound of ‘klik’ made him surprised. He looked at his friends with questions in his eyes. Everyone nodded while moving. They were behind Aesira. Be careful, the blonde girl with braids that adorn the edge of her head pushed the stone door to reveal a hallway with light that highlighted in the far area.

Some who were about to follow Aesira entered the hallway which was no more than a meter high was blocked by the hand of Princess Elma. With a gesture of his head, he tells them that they should let only Aesira herself fuse the mysterious place.

“But, Princess. What if there's something good threatening Aesira?” tukas Kay is worried.

“He will be fine, “ replied Princess Elma sure.

There is not much time to look back. Aesira continued to steady her feet slashing the distance of the passage to where the white light source was across.

“I'm sure, this place and the city library are interconnected! And, when I entered the strange room while going to the bathroom, this was the same place!”

Aesira arrived at the end of the hall and found herself in a glowing room with crystal lamps and exquisite ceramic tiles. The roof of this room decorated the night sky with stars, moon, and tinge of aurora of various colors.

“Book ... white book with gold engraving, yes ... that's the book I saw back then! This may be the book we are looking for! Queen Mina's Book!”

As Aesira's hand tried to grab the hovering book, her hand came under an unexpected attack. He turned around and found a woman covering half her face with a cloth ready to strike back.

The fight is inevitable between them. Aesira held back the man's blow, about to give a review but, that person first dodged. Aeir rotates the body and gives one strength that leads to that person. With a flick, the person's back curled backward avoiding the force of Aesira's attack.

Aesira lowered her head, pulling on one leg to form a one hundred and eighty degree angle to scuttle her enemy. However, again he missed, the man played beautifully by flying himself and landed quickly behind Aesira then, the girl fell down due to a sudden blow to his back. Even so, Aesira still got up, he did not feel defeated.

Aesira twists her body to make the tail of her coat flicker up in a swivel direction. Quickly, he played a hand following the man's movements a few minutes ago and then directed a pool of strength with all his might. Before long, the man disappeared.

Aesira thought everything would be done. A battle that really drained his energy would not bother him to take the book, but he suddenly felt the presence of someone behind him. Aesira froze, her ears could hear clearly from the person's breath, also feeling her shoulders being slashed by the fingers.

Aesira turned to the right slowly. The mysterious person called out his name, which made Aesira's eyes open perfectly. Gesit Aesira turned around and grabbed the cover of the face of the person behind her.

“I, I, mother?” aesira lirih said with tear circles gathered in the corner. He carefully looked at the person who resembled his face with his late mother from head to toe.

“A victory would not exist without a process of struggle. You, will not be able to take the writing in a book before the author allows it, Aesira.”

Knowing the right, Aesira held her mouth.

“So, you ... Queen Mina?”

“Bu-do you not already ..” Aesira did not continue his words.

“Mati,” connect Queen Mina.

The Queen walks around the side of the book's support. With ease, the book he took then, he returned to stand in front of Aesira who had earlier satirized him.

“I am indeed dead, but my soul will remain immortal,” Queen Mina said as she extended the book to Aesira.

Aesira's gaze fell onto the book that led to her.

“Have I got it?” ask Aesira.

“What against me was it that you easily defeated me? It's your form of struggle, and it's your reward. Accept.”

With trembling hands as she stared at Queen Mina's face carrying her late mother's face, Aesira pulled the book slowly. When the book was perfectly in hand, Queen Mina's body faded away, the shard of light of the queen's soul flew out into space into a realm of tranquility.

...***

...

While outside, everyone was trying hard to open the stone door shortly after Aesira's departure, the door was suddenly closed by itself. They all tried in various ways to open, but in a moment nothing worked.

Kay ruffled her hair in frustration. “We shouldn't let Aesira in alone!” The words were meant to insinuate Princess Elma who had been holding them in the doorway.

Kay pressed her back and pushed the door hoping that with her energy she could set a gap. However, it was an attempt to all that had no results at all. In a fit of annoyance, Kay punched the door while shouting furiously.
