After Marriage

After Marriage
CHAPTER 14

I hurried to turn on the faucet and wash my face.

looking back at the reflection of my face that was clearly imprinted in the mirror.

"Ran, what are you going to do now?" mummify slowly. Keep staring into my own eyes.

"Didn't Maya and Aslan want a child? should we do it tonight?"

I was silent for quite a while.

Until I heard the bathroom door being knocked impatiently. I also heard Aslan calling my name. Asking me to get out soon.

"Just a second!" I screamed, and there was no sound coming from out there.

"Bismilahirohamanirohim," I muttered.

God, may the decision I make be right.

I took a face towel that was hung neatly there, removing the remnants of water that was still grained in the face.

Slowly, I opened the door and came out, and at once my gaze met with Aslan sitting on the bed. Watching me with an unknowing look ...

"Why is it so long?" he asked, I was throbbing, somehow seeing his face made me suddenly upset.

"It's so late, go to sleep." he asked and went up to the bed.

Again, I tried, not obeying his words. I even sit at the dresser, before going to bed, you have to use cream the night first.

"What are you doing?" ask Aslan again, why the hell is he always curious.

Being lazy to argue, I finally abandoned the intention to wear night cream and approached her, climbed into the bed and sat on the other side.

We're both grown-ups, you know if tonight's the first night, should we be together tonight? but can it?

Even looking at his face made me very upset.

But if I don't do that, when can I get pregnant? when can I get away from both of them?

"Sleep." said Aslan again when I was sitting on the bed and even daydreaming.

"Why always ask me to sleep? are we not going to do that?" I just sat down, like it wasn't taboo to me. After all, this isn't the first for Aslan, it would be even more disgusting if I was timid.

Aslan did not immediately answer, again he looked at me with a gaze that did not mean anything. It sucks, why I never get to read those eyes.

"Here" Aslan said, patting his right arm. Asking me to sleep there.

I could only swallow, not want to look childish, I obeyed his orders. Sleep and make the arm cushion.

If tonight my chastity is lost, I am a clairvoyant, at least without love but Aslan is my husband. Husband is lawful in religion and country. An official wedding is not just a wedding under the hands.

Yeah, I have to be sure.

I have to accept if this is the end.

"Why are you so cold sweat?" aslan asked, his warm hands wiped the sweat off my forehead.

Ah shit! why am I so nervous.

"Hurry up!" my orders were tight, I closed my eyes tightly. No matter if Aslan was still busy removing all sweat.

My jantuny was beating out of control, when I repeatedly said the word Calm in my heart.

O Allah.

"No need to rush, don't force what we're not ready for. Tonight I will just hug you." said Aslan softly, he pulled me closer and hugged me tightly.

I'm stunned.

Suddenly my tongue felt faint just to respond to Aslan's words.

I just kept closing my eyes, as if sleeping and hearing her words.

But gradually, I fell asleep.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

AUTHTOR POV

Aslan's hand kept moving gently patting the arm of his second wife, Kiran. Can be heard clearly by the roar of Kiran's breath that has been scattered. A sign that this woman is asleep.

His body is here, but his heart and mind are far away in the house next door, his first wife, Maya.

Astagfirulahalazim says. Aslan's mind was full of regrets.

Repeatedly he repeats istigfar, aware that what he did was wrong.

He looked at Kiran's sleeping face, a very shady face when sleeping like this.

With a slow movement, he hugged the wife's body.

If I don't open my heart to her, how can Kiran get in. While we were married not just for a moment, but forever.

Again, Aslan stared fixedly at the wife's face.

He falls asleep and hugs Kiran.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

While elsewhere, Maya is still awake in solitude. Everything was suddenly quiet and cold.

He hugged his own body that was already wet with tears.

It was painful, very painful to see the husband spend the night with another woman. No, not another woman, but her own second wife.

The tears were falling inexhaustibly. Although repeatedly he tried ihklas in fact still this heart feels sliced.

"Mas .." said Maya very softly, her eyes were already sore and swollen.

He looked around the room that felt empty.

"It's okay, May, it's all for your household. Imagine how much Aslan would suffer if he couldn't have children, while he was so healthy." Trying to be strong.

"It's okay May, Mas Aslan is still your husband. Believe me, his love is only for you. While with mbak Kiran only a form of responsibility and obligation."

"Yes, like that."

Slowly, Maya wiped her own tears slowly. The clock is on the wall, 3 o'clock in the morning.

"I have to sleep, maybe tomorrow morning Aslan will see me. I can't be sad, I can't." he said confidently.

He hurriedly pulled out the blanket and covered his entire body. Although difficult, but he tried to stay asleep.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

"Ran, get up." said Aslan, he was awake and even finished cleaning himself.

Now his body is neatly wrapped in cocoa clothes and sarongs, complete with peci on the head.

"Ran, let's pray at dawn." Aslan repeated trying to build the wife.

Kiran wriggled, curling up comfortably.

"Ran."

Called when, Kiran started to prank, her hearing started to return.

"Ran, wake up."

Kiran's eyes were open, though not very conscious, but she remembered that she was now married. He saw Aslan who looked so different, undeniably, his face was handsome with shady eyes.

Especially when using such a cocoa dress, like women in general, he was fascinated.

"Wake up." said Aslan for the umpteenth time.

Kiran said, although she tried hard to get up, got up and rushed to get water.

A couple of newlyweds performed the congregational dawn prayer. Instantly, the two hearts that were being enveloped in this turmoil suddenly became calm.

It is as if everything has improved when they have given all their affairs to the Almighty, Allah.

Still resting on the prayer mat, Aslan turned around and stretched out his hand.

Without arguing, Kiran welcomed the hand and kissed it reverence.

Without Kiran guessing, after that Aslan instead moved to scrape the distance and kissed her lips at a glance.

Until he stirs.
