After Marriage

After Marriage
CHAPTER 8 - I'm Ready

According to Tika's wishes, Kiran came tonight to the older brother who was in his room.

Saying that he was willing to marry Aslan, it was as if he had closed his eyes that he already had a wife.

"Why? is it because of that badass guy that you want to accept this marriage?" asked Fahmi coldly, he was still busy reading some files. Kiran was standing next to her desk.

"Yes." replied Kiran honestly, after all there was nothing else she could cover up.

Fahmi screeched, laughing as if humbling.

"Marriage is not an easy matter. No matter what your reason, when you are married to Aslan, then he is your priest. Priests you must respect and obey. Are you willing?"

Kiran did not immediately reply, she squeezed both her hands firmly.

Resisting anger as well as ego that has arrived in the crown.

If possible, he wanted to ignore Aslan after the wedding later, not wanting to respect let alone obey. Aslan in his eyes was just a child who did not deserve to be a priest.

"Jawab." said Fahmi intimidatingly.

"I can Mas, I'm not stupid, I know how to treat a husband." replied Kiran lirih, a lie answer just to please the brother.

"Alright, tonight I'll go straight to Aslan's family."

Silent, knowing there was nothing to talk about again Kiran finally came out.

Repeatedly he pulled and exhaled violently, whatever he would face later, about his marriage to Aslan.

Everything was gray, he couldn't guess. It was as if entering a pitch-black world. Don't know where to go.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

And sure enough, shortly after Kiran came out of her room, Fahmi went straight to Aslan's family.

Finished talking officially to all family members about Kiran's approval, now Fahmi invites Aslan to talk to each other.

Men of different ages are sitting on the porch of the house, coffee on the table just as a display. Not touched by either.

"You should know Lan, Kiran is currently in a slump. Maybe you know, if not long ago Kiran's lover got married, shortly after they planned the wedding," said Fahmi began the conversation. No one wants to be covered up, because he will fully hand over his brother to Aslan.

"Yes Mas, I know," answered Aslan honestly, because the news had become a byword in this housing.

"Kiran accepts this marriage to forget about Alfath and move on with his life, so be patient to guide Kiran to become a real wife." she explains again and exhales heavily.

Aslan did not reply, he only nodded small.

"I know, Kiran is not a perfect woman. But when she's your wife, please, treat her well even if there's no love between you."

Silent.

Aslan fell silent, he felt that if Fahmi considered this marriage would only incriminate him, but not like that. Aslan was eager to build a household, accepting each other's advantages and disadvantages.

"Mas, don't misunderstand me. I'm the same as Kiran. I have many shortcomings. I'm even very grateful that Kiran would accept me."

Fahmi chuckles, a little funny when Aslan calls his sister as Ma'am.

"Then get used to calling Kiran by her name, don't call Mbak anymore." Fahmi's suggestion was still chuckling softly, funny.

A little, but Aslan smiled.

"Yes," he answered according to.

After talking at length, finally at exactly 10 pm Fahmi said goodbye to go home. Fahmi also said, as long as Aslan takes care of the marriage papers, he will leave Kiran to one of his friends.

Aslan agreed, he even offered to take Kiran away tomorrow.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

After Fahmi actually came home, Aslan closed the door of his house and started to enter the room.

It turns out that Maya has not fallen asleep, still sitting while leaning on the bed waiting for the arrival of the husband.

"A long time, Mom?" maya asked in wonder, wondering exactly what they were talking about.

Fahmi did not immediately answer, he went up to the bed and both sat leaning there. Slowly, he pulled one of the wife's hands to hold it tightly.

"I just talked to Fahmi, but you're jealous. How about I talk to Kiran?" ask Aslan flirting.

The deg! maya's heart was stung, grinning when she heard her husband had not used Mbak's call to Kiran.

He smiled bitterly, just like this he already felt uncomfortable.

"Do you want me to cancel this wedding? it's not too late if you prevent me." Aslan said solemnly and Maya immediately shook her head.

"No Mas, I'm not jealous, I'm sincere," Maya replied lying.

Patience is what Maya has to do right now. He believes that someday Aslan and Kiran will separate by themselves.

After all, the most important thing is the child, not about his feelings let alone about Kiran.

"Really?" Aslan reassured and Maya nodded steadily.

"Yes, it's."

Slowly, Aslan pulled the wife to be held tightly. He also kissed the Maya's head repeatedly.

"I'm sorry dear." said Aslan slowly, he knew however surely Maya would be hurt.

Like two blades of a blade that is equally sharp, here and there he will hurt the hearts of both.

"Don't apologize, Mum. I'm even sadder if you keep apologizing." Maya replied as she was, every time she heard the husband say an apology, it was as if Aslan wanted this marriage.

But Aslan never wanted to, and he continued to impose that will.

"Tomorrow I'll take care of the marriage papers, if everything goes well, maybe in 2 weeks I'll be married to Kiran soon."

Maya nods in her arms, breathing deeply into the scent of her husband's body, before sharing.

"When taking care of that too maybe I will often meet with Kiran_"

"Yes, yes. Believe me, I'm sincere, so don't think I'll cry silently when I see Mas Alsan being with Kiran's mom." Maya cut him off quickly while looking up at the husband's netra.

Maya even slightly smiled, as if laughing at Aslan's anxiety.

"Why do you love me so much, don't you love me?" aslan asked, his forehead wrinkled confused as well as suspicious.

Maya chuckles, what a funny question, she thought.

"Where may I not love Mas Aslan anymore, Mas is my first love and my last love" Maya replied after finishing with her laughter.

He stared fixedly at the eyes of the husband until locked and not distracted.

They both smile and dissolve in touch.
