Episode 3: The Mystery of the Giant Fish

Aldi and Grandpa were sitting by the lake they had visited since they first met. They enjoy a moment of tranquility, watching the calm lake water and listening to the swirling leaves around them. But that day felt different. In the distance, they saw some village fishermen talking about something nervously.

"There may be a big fish that catches their attention" said Grandpa with a face full of curiosity.

Aldi was intrigued and asked, "What is it that makes them so nervous, Grandpa?"

Grandfather frowned, "Some fishermen said they saw a huge shadow moving beneath the surface of the lake. That said, it was a legendary giant fish."

Hearing the story of the giant fish, Aldi felt increasingly interested. He and Grandpa decided to investigate further about this mystery. They talked to some fishermen who saw the shadow and noted useful clues.

"Your grandfather used to hear stories about this giant fish from our parents. That said, the fish could bring great luck to anyone who managed to catch it," Grandpa said with a smile.

Aldi is getting excited. "Let's try to find that giant fish, Grandpa!"

They prepared their fishing gear meticulously and slid into the middle of the lake in wooden boats. The boat glided quietly over the clear water. They put up a big bait and waited patiently.

Suddenly, beneath the surface of the water, they saw a huge movement that shook the boat. Aldi felt his heartbeat speed up. "Grandfather, that must be a giant fish!" yells.

Grandfather carefully aimed his fishing rod, and they began to resist the strong pull of the fish. The fierce battle lasted quite a long time, and the two of them had to collaborate well to deal with the might of the giant fish.

However, instead of feeling happy about catching a giant fish, anxiety suddenly enveloped Aldi's mind. He remembered Grandfather's words about preserving the ecosystem and thought about what would happen if these giant fish were preserved in the catch.

"I'm not sure we should bring this giant fish home, Grandpa," Aldi said hesitantly.

Grandpa smiled understandingly. "You're right, son. This fish is a rare creature and is probably the only one left of its kind in this lake. We must respect nature and let it live freely in its habitat."

With heavy hearts, they released the giant fish back into the lake with great reverence. They watched the fish swim away, leaving unforgettable memories in their minds and hearts.

Back by the lake, they realize that their quest is not about catching giant fish, but about understanding and appreciating the wonders of nature. Grandfather taught Aldi that as anglers, their responsibility is to maintain the ecosystem and maintain the sustainability of nature.
