Almahyras
Season 2, Part 10: A Month Passes A Letter From Azizah.

A month has passed. The son of Azizah, whom Jafar named Rais, was one month old. Like his request that forbid Alma to give asi, clearly followed by the wife.

Even Dilara was very happy to have a sister. Every day we slept together, asked Rais for news, and the most frequent thing was to wait for Rais to speak. Dilara said, he wanted to be called Mbak not Kak. Then also, he wanted to call Rais with Adik, not just a name.

Of course Jafar and Alma can only agree. Hopefully later if Rais is an adult he fulfills Dilara's desire to be called that name. Rais is already part of his extended family.

"Mas, the milk's staying a little. Want to buy together?" ask Alma.

"Sa-yeah," replied Jafar slowly.

During the month Jafar continued to undergo therapy. Until some difficult words that he could not, slowly easy he said.

It's clockwork now at eight o'clock. The supermarket is still open, and Jafar has been preparing to wear a jacket to set out to buy formula and other necessities.

"Mas, can you?"

"Can" replied Jafar.

Alma got up from the bed slowly. So as not to wake Dilara and Rais who are sleeping. Then after that, he walked towards the drawer opening slowly and picked up the shopping bag. "Wear this bag, Mas. Don't buy any more" Alma said.

Jafar nodded, and looked at Alma for a moment. "Do you want a-pa?"

"I don't want anything anymore. If possible, one chocolate ice cream for Dilara, Mas," replied Alma.

Jafar has departed. Alma intended to lay her body again on the bed. But he was restrained when he heard someone knock on the door several times. Maybe Ummi's asleep? he thought straight ahead.

When Alma's hand opened the door, there was no one. But when his eyes were low, staring down at the floor there was a paper bag lying there.

Inside the paper bag it contained a mini Qur'an, a letter in a white envelope, and the last gold necklace with the initials A. "Don't this be from Azizah?"

Alma hurriedly opened the door again. And running so fast looking for Azizah, he also went to the front of the gate to ask the guards. But unfortunately they do not know, they only answer that many people who enter, among them are ustazah.

"Why didn't he come in?" muttered Alma who went back into the house limply.

Three steps he entered the house, the sound of Rais crying so loudly. Until Alma hurriedly ran into the room and fondled Rais, and did not forget to give milk so that the boy was immediately speechless.

"Rais ... Why, son? Bite the mosquito? Or a nightmare, honey?" alma said softly.

Rais's cry died down. Even though she was not disturbed by her sleep, Alma planned to read the letter hiding behind the white envelope. So he invited Rais to sit in the living room, with his hand holding a piece of folio paper.

Assalamualaikum, Ma'am Alma.

I have a little gift for that one month old baby. Mama must have seen it, right? The prize is the Qur'an. I bought it with my own money. Please Ma'am and Gus Jafar read to him often, huh? I beg.

Then the necklace, was Abi's gift first. Keep it, Ma'am. Give it to him later when he grows up, and Mbak just said that it is a relic of the woman who gave birth to him.

I don't plan to see him, Ma'am. I'm really grateful Ma'am and Gus have raised the baby to be your child. Hopefully later if he grows up he gets all the good from his adoptive parents.

Aamiins.

Thank you, Ma'am Alma, for being a mother to my son.

Unknowingly her tears fell. Alma looked down, she looked at Rais who was sleeping again. This child ... did he cry because he knew his mother was coming? his inner.

"Son .. I hope your mother's good wishes are truly granted later. Mama Alma and Jafar's father will continue to look after you" Alma muttered.
