...Part 4: The Bad Verbal...
"Alma doesn't want to have a mute husband."
Like a thousand sharp thorns pierced, but did not cause a drop of blood to flow. Alma's words really so incised the wound on the heart of Umm Salamah. How could anyone blatantly insult the son he loved so much?
"Maafra!" hardik Umma Sarah's.
Ummi Salamah's eyes have been filled with puddles. From beside Jafar could see that his Ummi was shedding tears and swiftly grasped the soft hand.
"Why can you talk like that, Alma?" ask Umm Salamah slowly.
Because it was the only way to reject the son of Ummi.
"Because Ummi and Umma forced me to get married" Alma replied.
Milk is returned with tubal water. Is that how he will repay the kindness of Umm Sarah and Umm Salamah? Alma felt that he had committed cruelty even though it was just speech. Even Alma did not know what reward he would receive for hurting Umm Salamah. He only hoped that God would not punish him severely because of the bad words he said.
Jafar is seen pulling out paper and pen from inside his pocket. Then he moved his hand skillfully writing something and handed it to Alma.
"Stop talking" Jafar wrote.
After reading that. Alma looked at Jafar at a glance - Jafar's sharp gaze as if implying dislike or is it really a look of hatred? Alma stood up, then slightly bowed his way past Umm Sarah without saying anything. Not polite at all. But Alma was fed up, he did not like being forced.
"Sal's brother don't listen to Alma's words." From outside the office of the orphanage Alma heard the words of Umm Sarah and was followed by all the disappointed words from Umm Salamah.
Malicious.
His license's getting worse.
Alma's behavior has changed since her parents died. Sometimes he thought he should not have been born alone, if then left alone on this earth. Alma sighed softly, immediately leaving the courtyard of the orphanage office. A little tingled his heart because it had injured people as well as Umm Salamah.
A rough hand suddenly gripped Alma's left arm then pulled and brought Alma behind the side wall of the orphanage office so dim.
"Le-pas" said Alma. He blinked many times after confirming that the one who dared to touch him was Jafar.
That guy.
Too rough.
Alma rebelled by pulling Jafar's hand which was on his arm. No one dared to touch her. Other than the person who actually obtained permission from Alma himself.
"Please me!" hardik Alma's.
The grip is getting painful. Jafar did not loosen it but rather tightened it. The man's net was intimidating. Jafar pushed Alma so much that the girl had actually been cornered on the wall.
"I'll scream if you don't let go of your hands, Jafar!" gertak Alma's.
Jafar's breathing rang out as the distance dwindled between them and the sharp chocolate did not take his eyes off him in the least. Suddenly the grip on Alma's arm slowly loosened and then with disrespect, Jafar put a paper in the pocket of the side dress Alma. Then Jafar left the girl who was astonished by the actions he had done.
"Nonsense," muttered Alma. His face paled slightly and several times he took a breath-because he felt his oxygen supply was reduced due to the crush of Jafar earlier.
"Wasn't Madam Alma there?" said Salsa who somehow did not Alma realize his sudden presence.
Alma. "Nothing," he answered. Then ran towards the kitchen putting a plastic tray on the wooden table and hurried to leave the kitchen so as not to cross paths with Umm Salamah and Jafar again.
The goal is the room. He did not even hesitate to run to get there quickly. About a minute later, Alma ran and saw Kirana with Inayah talking in front of the room.
"That's Brother Alma!" exciting Kirana.
Both corners of Alma's lips were attracted to forcefully curving because it would be very bad as she displayed her moodless face before these two little sisters. "What's wrong?" ask Alma.
"Daddy wants to ask something like that to Brother," said Kirana.
One of Alma's eyebrows shot up. "Ask what?"
"Th-that's gotta be changed, brother? W-w-would I wear it till tomorrow?" inayah saran said. This little girl was really shy to talk to anyone - even Alma rarely heard Inayah speak.
Alma chose to crouch down and looked at Inayah gently. "If you feel full of blood and feel muddy uncomfortable. You can change, don't wait for night or tomorrow. Wanna?" alma.
Inayah nodded.
"Yes already. Brother to the room first," Alma's remark paused. He stood up and turned his gaze to Kirana and said again, "Kirana directly to the mosque, want this prayer."
"Yes, Brother."
Alma immediately entered her room. And once again the look on his face changed and he took a breath many times. Her net was staring at herself at the large mirror before her. Alma's hands clenched and her gaze turned sharp.
"Nonsense," muttered Alma, again.
Alma remembered that the impolite man - Jafar had put something in his pocket and then violently reached into his pocket wanting to see what Jafar had put in.
"Paper?" said Alma.
Alma's right and left hands shrewdly unfolded the paper. Quite curious it was over what the rough-clothed man wrote became meek in front of his Ummi.
"Stop saying anything when it's said to you. You yourself are not willing to listen to it" Jafar wrote.
Alma was silent for a moment.
"Indeed, who would want to hear an insult, Jafar?" muttered.
Alma's memory revolves around the past. Where there used to be so many tears that he dropped just because of a sentence that sounded trivial to some people. But it felt very scraping the wound for Alma himself who heard. In fact, each one is ringing in the ears how it used to be that children of his age could say that he was an abnormal and weak child.
"I've heard of it. So it's good that you give this to someone else" muttered Alma, again.

Asshalaatu khairum minan
Asshalaatu khairum minan
Azan's voice disturbed Alma's sleep. His eyes began to blink many times realizing that the time before dawn was about to come. Soon Alma changed her position to sit on the edge of the bed. After a few seconds of silence, Alma stood up and walked up to the hanger, took the black hood and put it on.
Alma took her gawai on the nightstand. Perhaps there was an important message from the person who was willing to accommodate him all this time-Aunt Maryam. Or it could be the latest news from the authorship application. With a clever hand Alma fiddling with his gawai seen the application sender of short messages.
Call aunt tomorrow morning
Throw's right. It is certain that the bad words that Alma had spoken to Umm Salamah and Jafar would reach Aunt Maryam's ears in one night.
Tomorrow morning? That means this morning, right?
Alma agreed to Aunt Maryam's request. Perhaps he would contact him after his task of delivering food every morning to Umm Salamah was completed - although Alma himself was not sure that the task would be handed over to him again.
"Kirana's up yet, huh?" muttered Alma.
Alma's right hand picked up the key that was next to her handle. Then he stepped towards the door-opening slowly then he walked out to Kirana and Inayah's room.
The door a few times. "Dad, Kirana!" exciting Alma.
"Yes Kak," There was a quiet voice coming from the room that Alma believed was the voice of Inayah. A few seconds later the door of the room opened. "I-I woke up Kirana first, huh Brother?"
Alma nodded followed by her little laugh. Really Inayah is a reflection of a shy girl who is graceful. Not seems. Umm Sarah has misjudged herself.
"Kok is already dawn. Kan Kirana is still sleepy," said Kirana who now stands in front of him.
Alma greeted Kirana's complaint with a smile. "Don't sleep at night. Now go to the bathroom first there, get ready for dawn prayers," he said.
Kirana nodded.
"Not stomach pain?" alma asked Inayah who was sitting on the edge of the bed.
Inayah. "No, Brother."
"Don't forget to change, huh? If the bandage runs out. Ask to go straight to Brother's room, right?" alma.
Then he went back to the room. Waiting for his siblings and peers to wake up to perform dawn prayers. After completely making sure that the dormitory had been deserted as well as the bathroom-Alma immediately went to clean up.
"Sister Alma ma-wanna take a bath?" ask Inayah who was suddenly in the doorway of her room.
Alma nodded. "Yes. You either?"
"I-iya, Brother. Wait a-I'll take a shower, brother?" inayah said with a deep bow.
Alma had already made sure that this little girl was afraid to be in the bathroom alone. Moreover, all the children in dormitories one and two have moved to the mosque. "You're in the first bathroom, Brother Alma in the second bathroom. If you are still afraid to talk to your sister. Wanna?"
"Yes, Brother."
Fajr's over. Similarly, Alma and Inayah who have finished cleaning themselves. The digital clock in Alma's room shows at 05:37 WIB. The dawn has come. His light began to enter the small cracks of the windows of the dormitories in the orphanage. Alma planned to go to the kitchen of the home immediately, but he still thought many times so that his heart and senses could face Umma Sarah again.
The sound of her bedroom door being knocked. "Immy!" the sound from the outside that Alma believed was the sound of Mardiyah ketus.
Immediately put on the veil bergo syar'i then he stepped foot to the door and in dikaya. "Yes?" the answer.
"You suddenly forget the memory of the same task that you used to do in the morning?" ask Mardiyah with ketus.
Netra the two meet. "I've been there" replied Alma.
"This is over. Swab! Ummi Salamah is waiting for the delivery of the meal as soon as possible!" mardiyah.
The words were again broken. Alma has guessed for several days that Mardiyah might be angry because the task of delivering food was replaced by her. Though he will sincerely give back the task when Mardiyah asked him carefully.
"Yes, Mardiyah," said Alma.
Mardiyah has left. Alma sighed in the door-step as soon as she closed the door. And head to the pantry and meet Umma Sarah. He was really ready, somehow the response and the gaze of Umm Sarah to him Alma will receive it.
"Antar as usual" said Umma Sarah.
Alma nodded. "Yes, Umma."
Duty is still a task. He will not be able to bargain with Umm Sarah. And to send these two bushels of food, he had to meet face to face with Umm Salamah - the good people he had just injured last night.
It's Alma's risk, you have to deliver this food as soon as possible!
...🌺...
Alma's feet have entered the courtyard of Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah. Alma breathed in more oxygen, before she would actually meet Ummi Salamah. There were many feelings of guilt surrounding his heart, for indeed that night there was not the slightest intention of Alma to insult Jafar. All of them were just spontaneous sentences that he said-because they were forced.
"A-assalamualaikum Ummi" said Alma.
Alma fluttered in the doorway as her netra met face-to-face with the sad netra Umm Salamah. "Mosur."
When Umm Salamah was about to stand up to him. From the hallway of the room came Jafar with black gloves and white cocoa clothes. Then Jafar touched the hand of Ummi Salamah then in his gaze the Ummi by shaking the lips Jafar said without a sound, "Jafar, Ummi."
"This," said Alma by handing the two bushels containing four lines to Jafar.
Just as Jafar was about to take the last bushel he suddenly slipped a piece of paper between Alma's index and middle fingers. Then the sharp brown netra looked at Alma with a voiceless voice, "Read."
Alma did not heed Jafar. But the letter turned around he held it tightly and then his neutrals looked at Umm Salamah and with a little bow he said goodbye. "Alma go, Ummi. Assalamualaikum."
When he was about to get out of the Pesantren court, Alma's footsteps slowed down. His left hand tried to hold the hood that was slightly snapped due to the morning breeze. Then he raised his right fist as the waist opened with a small piece of paper.
"I also do not want to marry a woman who has bad words like you" Jafar wrote.
Note:
• Cok scene with Jafar a little, anyway? The answer is, because the title of this story is Almahyra not Alma and Jafar. So, here using the Alma-ya point of view there may be a Jafar point of view but it will not be much. I'm just saying maybe, yeah.
• How much is his orphanage sister Inayah with Kirana? The answer, because the same dorm Alma is Inayah and Kirana.
• how much does the room consist of? The answer, 4 rooms, the first room made a library, the second room in Inayah and Kirana, the third room Alma and the fourth room empty. And in front of the house again. 3 Shared outdoor bathrooms. (Have been loved in the previous part)
• the name of the boarding school is just fiction. If there is any similarity it is a coincidence.
Kitchen plan to Ummah Sarah's office
And keep looking forward to the story of Almahyra!
