His afternoon....
Zenith's car drove slowly on the crowded streets. This time it was Lixe who was driving, even though she was the most amateur. But considering he is in better condition than Zenith. Zenith fell asleep in the passenger seat. Bal had been silent since, dumbstruck not clear. Lixe deftly tried not to cause vibrations so as not to disturb the two passengers.
Some people waved their hands. I say thank you so much for seeing them. It was enough to make Lixe turn her head a few times and return the greeting. And a few times Zenith stomped her feet, telling Lixe to focus on what was in front of her.
"Are you guys okay?" ask Zack suddenly to Lixe. That guy always makes his heart jump. Lixe slammed the steering wheel. Zenith clucked as she stomped her feet harder than before. Goody. He left footprints in his own car. Bal was instantly aware of his daydream. He grimaced in pain as soon as he saw the dented part of the car being stepped on by Zenith.
"Look, I know Uncle can telepathically even in long distance. But can Uncle choose the right time. What you know, your daughter almost killed me." Lixe complained. This time Zenith actually pushed Lixe's head. Jesus, he thinks Zenith's still sleeping.
"You are always surprised. Not my fault either. Answer my question, son!"
"We're doing fine. Zenith also managed to bring home a copy of the data. Maybe not with Uncle Ague,"
"Yes, I called him earlier," for a moment Zack's voice broke.
"Do you know anyone named Gusion Wist?"
Lixe again slammed the steering wheel. A girl whose car almost got hit by Lixe screamed.
"Oh. Sorry, Miss!" lixe said while confirming the direction of his car.
"You're crazy, Lix! Focus on the front! I bet you've never even driven a car before!" Zenith was now completely awake. He folded his hands in front of his chest. Ready to nag again.
"Tell my dad to call me!" Zenith crossed legs.
Lixe nodded happily she would do so.
"Uncle, according to driving laws. A person is not allowed to drive while making tel calls....,"
"Who said? You never even got a driving lesson, did you?" Zack cuts Lixe's speech. He grunts.
"See you." The call was interrupted.
Lixe heaved a sigh of relief. The tip of her lips lifted up by displaying a face full of freedom. Their journey was calm again.
"We're not going straight home. Follow my lead, brother!" Bal woke up from his dream. Lixe. "What's wrong with that kid?" his inner. Bal just cleared slowly. Alright. Although Bal's very flat expression slightly made Lixe anxious, she still followed in all directions she said.
Two hours later, the car stopped at a modest house in the middle of the forest. Lixe knows the house. He slept there one night, not knowing who and how he was taken there.
"Remember me, the distance of this house with the Roila Kingdom is not so far. Why does it feel so long, huh,?" Lixe muttered in surprise.
"Did you forget? How many times have you almost hit those innocent trees? You really made almost the entire body of my car crumble. I'll ask for damages. Basic amateur!" sahut Zenith stared intently at Lixe. Already since then he was furious, about to seize the steering wheel. Honey, his head is dizzy.
"Feed it, tutor! Don't be stingy about being people," Lixe doesn't accept. He braked his car rudely while looking at Zenith. The girl stomped her legs together, holding her almost-slumped body forward.
"Sad. I'll teach you. And you should be able to!" The aura of Zenith was truly terrifying. He had his eyes cynically staring at the driver in front of him. Lixe immediately threw her face forward.
"Can we go down now?" tanya Bal tried to cool the atmosphere.
Zenith did not change her aura. Letting the heat radiate from his body. He's nodding. Then stand up and jump over the car door.
Lixe also jumped. Face grimacing. Followed by Bal, he patted Lixe on the back. Smiling cheers. That was his first smile today.
"Sister Zenith wouldn't hurt Big Brother like she hurt her favorite car anyway. Brother is very dear to Zenith," said Bal just anyhow.
Lixe. He immediately covered Bal's mouth with his right hand.
"Are you guys just going to keep talking there?!" zenith exclaimed all her frustration. He's holding his head.
Bal looked at Zenith with a question mark.
"God. What's wrong with this kid. You really can't read my mind?!" zenith wondered more. A few moments Bal looked at Zenith.
Lixe who at least understood Zenith's intent instantly drew Bal's hand. Both of them went ahead of Zenith.
"What's wrong with you, Bal?" inner Zenith was worried.
Tok tok, Bal knocking on the wooden door. The house looks simple with its wooden doors. But the wall is very solid. Bal glanced around. He was looking out of the window.
"What are you doing?" zenith asked startling the others.
"I'm going to look inside the window. Sorry if I'm not polite. Did you allow me?" answer plain bal.
Hearing that answer Zenith was like being struck by lightning. It's not the ethics he's asking here. Wasn't Bal able to use his power and look inside. Bal was the most talented and genius member of the Dey Tribe in this generation. Zenith could only stare at Bal's astonishment peeking out of the window.
"What are you doing here?" ask someone from inside. The door opened, it wasn't the Gusion they wanted.
"Where is Gusion Wist" replied Zenith.
"Oh. Are you friends or opponents?" The man judged his guests by looking from bottom to top one by one. "Hi, Demon Bear! Is this your friends?" He smiled at Lixe.
"I? Huh huh? What did you say?" Lixe pointed at herself. He looked at Bal. Usually the child will tell you something. But this time, he was silent.
"Oh. You were unconscious then? Let me tell you inside. You guys wanna come in?" The man opened the door wider. He went in first. Leaving Zenith and Lixe looking at each other. Unlike the Bal that went straight in. He walked like a living corpse.
"I'm worried about Bal" murmured Zenith softly. He held onto the hand of Lixe who was standing beside him.
"Me too" Lixe nodded. "Come on!" Then pull Zenith's hand. Bring her in.
The third sat on a soft sofa that floated three inches from the floor. Still be amazed by the person offering drinks and food at their front desk.
"My name is Jian, cousin of the man you're looking for. And who are you guys?" Jian crossed his legs.
"Have we met?" Lixe raised next to the eyebrows. The one asked chuckled. He's nodding.
"When?" Lixe scratched her head.
"Yesterday, when you first woke up from your long hibernation. Near the Deathly Gorge. Remember already?"
Lixe's mind shot up. Exploring time and space. He tried to replay what happened. Dizziness. He looked at Bal. Ah forget. The boy really knows where. Thinking long. Lixe finally remembered the incident. As he fought with Jian and a grandfather. Lixe patting jidat.
"Sorry for that time," Lixe lowered her head. Jian shook his head with a friendly smile.
"No problem. But who gave you that power? A girl?" Jian moved his face. He stared intensely at Lixe in front of him. Lixe seemed to be thinking hard. This fellow actually made Lixe remember things that were hard to remember.
Lixe patted her thigh. He remembered the girl. Lixe nodded. "Yes, she's a seven-year-old girl I met ten years ago. I don't remember his face. I don't know his name either. But he is indeed a very cheerful person."
"That's it," Jian muttered softly. He smiled with satisfaction. "Thank God you're okay" she said.
"Do you know him?" zenith asked. The girl had just read the thoughts of the person in front of her. There's not much he can get. Just a sentence of gratitude for the safety of the girl.
"It seems this lady can read minds. I will be more careful," Jian replied with a sly smile. Zenith stared cynically. If he were Bal, he would know the man's whole secret. However, even Bal was like he wasn't there.
"What's wrong with you, Cyborg? Don't tell me you're broken." asked Zenith inwardly. That was when Bal turned to Zenith. The boy smiled, hinting that he was okay.
"You don't have to worry, brother. I'm a genius Cyborg."
