"Beautiful, Mom." The three-year-old Zenith clapped her hands as she saw a hologram showing 3-dimensional video so beautifully and vividly. There, little Anita was playing a chase with some friends.
"Where did your mother get it? I want to, too," said Zenith looking at her mother full of hope. His eyes sparkled, adding a cute impression on the face.
"Haha. It's my mom's birthday present, Zen." Anita laughed softly, she gently stroked her daughter's hair. Anita shakes. "Sorry, Zen. I can't give you anything like that" he continued.
Anita showed me a small well-arranged rubik. Zenith snatched. He began to observe, twirling the ruby.
"Mom, is this why you don't want movement?" Zenith tried to scramble the rubik. Unfortunately the rubik was as if glued strongly. The rubic floors were not even willing to turn in the slightest.
"If you screw it up. The picture can be damaged," Anita replied still letting the princess try fiddling with the rubik and nil.
"Gee. Must be the one who gave this guy a lot of love with Mom huh?" Zenith surrendered. He handed the thing to Anita.
Anita accepts. Then drowning in his thoughts that he never realized, Zenith read them. Zenith knew her mother's heart.
Long ago, when Anita was twelve...
"Sister!" Anita called out to Heto, her brother, from a distance.
Heto who was surrounded by his friends did not turn his head. He instead went with them, leaving Anita speechless in place.
"Ih, you son of Heto! It's been twenty years! Brother forgotten! You old brother!" Anita blabbed.
"Hi, aren't you papa?" the heavy, soft-sounding voice greeted Anita. The girl turned her head, she smiled broadly at him, the second prince, Arian Argio, sixteen years old.
It was the first time Zenith had seen the man. Well, that's the first impression Zenith got.
One other day, in Anita's school cafeteria. Arian's coming. Sitting next to Anita who ate alone.
"Life Brother is very relaxed, yes" Anita chirped as Arian patted her shoulder from behind.
"Not surprised?" ask Arian.
"You kissed from ten meters away, brother!" Anita sneers.
"Oh yeah? You know where I am? every time?"
"Kapanpun. Whatever Sister's clothes. I remember well the smell of Brother." Anita nodded confidently. "It won't be changed." Then shake.
Arian laughing. "Promise, you'll never forget it?" Arian brandished his pinky search.
"Hmm?" Anita moved her face.
"Everything about me" replied Arian. He blinked one eye.
"Promise, until death." Anita hooks her pinkie. 'That day, I never imagined it. The story will end like this.'
When Anita's 17th birthday. That day, Anita was already cawing. Heto goes to complete the mission. Father and mother? God, they're busy with their son's matchmaking. Whole waiter? Busy serving their mistress who asked for this it was for her son's wedding.
"Come on! Who cares about me?!" Anita exclaimed in her room. Even her friends were at a loss to prepare the dress they would wear at the crown prince's coronation the day after tomorrow.
Anita threw her body in the bed. For a moment, a strange smell was smelled. He hurriedly opened his room window wide. Something big flew in towards him. Anita lowered her head, letting it into her room.
"Sister Arian! Why did you come here?!" anita asked half-surprised as Arian walked in with his flying motor.
"Happy birthday!" Arian took out a small hadia from his pants pocket.
Anita opened her mouth in disbelief. "Aren't you ready for the engagement and appointment of the crown prince to be held the day after?"
"Well? That's my sister's show, isn't it me? Who cares?" Arian leisurely sat on Anita's bed. The girl still couldn't believe it.
"What does this smell like?" Anita smelled angus from Arian. The man looked.
"Let's not know" he answered briefly. Anita grunting.
Anita opened the little box. A small ruby. "I can't play ruby, sister."
"That's rubik's memory, Nit. You don't have to screw it up. No one can screw it up." Arian standing. Walk towards Anita.
"There, I keep all our memories. Everything we've ever done together. Every time." Arian gulped. Then he meets his net with Anita's.
"Anita. I like you."
"Me too, Brother Arian."
'The statement finally came out. Idiotically. Really stupid. Why did that day come? I shouldn't have opened the window for him. Or say I don't love her.'
One month later, Arian married a distant soup, his sister's future wife. Anita decided to leave. The girl started her career as a great spy. Forgetting everything they've been through. Which he could never forget to this day.
...****************...
Zenith grinned. He remembered, he had once come to this place. Trying to find the rubik, just satisfying the curiosity. And so is today. Maybe with the same goal.
"Mr Arian." Zenith opened her mouth. A sinister look of Arian was instantly fixed on him.
"Can you make me a memory rubic between myself and my mother?" Zenith revealed her true purpose of searching for the ruby now.
"Between you? And yourmother?" Arian tilted his head. He raised the tip of his eyebrow.
"Zenith and Anita?" Then laugh, filling the room
"Which book did you read? Where exactly do you know about memory rubics?"
"Don't you give it to Mom? 17 Year anniversary gift. The most beautiful memories, also the last one you give her. Aye, right?" Zenith. He no longer cared whether Arian would kill him or not.
Arian silent. Lixe tried to stand up straight. The sinister aura receded, this time Lixe could breathe a sigh of relief. He also helped Zenith stand up.
"What are you saying, Zenith? When did that ever happen? I never even made friends with your mother. You trying to trick me?" The aura is back. It's getting thicker and more horrible.
"Your mother is a traitor. He dared to harass the royal family. Even committed murder,"
"Both of you, I'm going to disappear!" A sword appeared in his hand. Sharp and pointed.
"Are you sure, sir?" a shadow portal appeared one meter in front of Arian. Someone in black clothes came out of there. Gusion brandished the sword towards Arian.
"Shadow mortal? The lowly Wist tribe?" Arian smiled mockingly.
"There's still a reason why the Lydeans used us. And you can't underestimate us, sir."
"That's arrogant. A lowly boy, whose ancestors kissed the feet of criminals." Arian raised his sword.
"Did your father never tell you how the Argio brainwashed the Wists?"
Gusion biting lips. He held his sword firmly. Until his hand shook.
"You made me understand the way my uncle thought. Thanks."
Gusion swung his sword first, starting the duel. Arian greeted him.The two swords met a heartbreaking sound. Gusion quickly drew her sword, spun around and grabbed Arian's stomach. But his movements stopped. Rigid body.
"Your ancestors were also dissidents. After being enslaved for nearly three centuries, the Wists fought the Lydeans, demanding freedom. They forget how cunning those bandits are." Arian gripped on Gusion's face.
"The bandits came to this land. Carrying a special stone from a distant island. They gave it to my ancestors, on the condition that my ancestors had to manipulate the minds of the Wists to submit to them. They exchanged that special stone for your obedience. Of course, I won't underestimate your power."
Arian let go of his grip. Gusion stood upright half a meter in front of Arian. His body could not move as he wished.
"Would you like to see that rock?" Arian brought the rubik in his hand to Gusion's face. "Good right?"
Over there, Lixe gulped. Not out of thought, such an object came from his ancestor.
"Is Lyde that cruel?" his inner. Hands clenched. Heart's hurt.
"Stare continues. I admit that giving bandits is amazing. But I'm more interested in the Wist powers that Lyde wants." Arian touched Gusion's forehead.
"Be my slave, Wist."
"Zenith, are you still interested in that Memory Rubik?" ask Lixe quietly. Zenith nodded.
"Let's take it."
Zenith looked in disbelief.
"Why do you want it now?"
Lixe smiled faintly.
"I thought the parents' mistakes had to be fixed, didn't they?" Lixe ran over to Arian.
Zenith did not understand.
"That rock, one of Lyde's sins," inwardly. Lixe raised a huge fist against Arian's face. Until he took three steps back, then released Gusion who immediately sat down and realized.
Light enveloped his body. His eyes were staring at the netra Arian. Something was faint in the eyes of that person.
