Chapter 078: Lightning Retaliation

"What's really going on?" ask Solar wonder.

"I don't know the details" Ats replied quickly, "But I'm sure that it was an explosion."

"That may be an attack from the Cannon A Post," guess Ali who is focusing on the entire map of this desert Arena. There were four command bases visible there, but there were only two squads fighting. It adds certain difficulties and advantages.

"A Cannon Post?" Ats pay attention to one of the heading points on a three-dimensional map. The post point is green, indicating it can still be used. Not far from him, there is a black dot that indicates that the post there has been destroyed or collapsed. It was the post that Arjuna and Ain had occupied earlier.

"Hm," Ali nodded, "That cannon post is the closest to where the 1st Eye Team is. I'm pretty sure that the attack came from there."

"That's a pretty far post from the range of our command base territory," Ats squinted, "But, we can get information that the enemy is in Command Base C or has mastered it. What about the cannon post on our side?"

"Both of the cannon posts are overrun" Siver reported from his place, "They are on standby."

"Good," Ats smirked faintly, "Prepare for the first attack."

"Huh? Alright," though Siver was a little astonished, he still carried out the order. However, their cannons must be on standby.

"Reporting the activities of other users," Arselan appeared next to Ats in the form of his military cat, "Tagging comrades and foes."

"Siver, destroy tower D's post!" ats' edict after Arselan reported the whereabouts of the people there, "Let's respond to their attacks."

"Are you sure there are people there?" Ali frowned. Their artillery shells are very limited. It's not good to waste a bullet just to destroy an empty tower post.

"There," Ats replied without hesitation.

"Okay," Siver also carried out his orders. His fingers moved quickly in front of the wide device on which he operated the defense system. He finished his preparations in less than a minute. "The mail is ready to launch."

"Hold a minute" Ats got a report that two light cavalry vehicles were coming at the tower post he was after. After the two vehicles reached the blast radius of the missile, he exclaimed, "Shoot!"

Siver pressed a button on his operating table. In an instant, a firing order signal was sent to a remote artillery cannon post. The cannon that had gawked into the sky at the post also spewed out its missiles.

"The target was successfully destroyed" Siver reported as soon as the missile destroyed its target. Ats again asked him to prepare a field artillery attack. Without much protest, the cannon operator carried it out quickly.

"Dagger 1, take the A-2 defense post on the north side of region 3, take the C-2 cannon post! Move straight east,” said Ats gave directions, “Mata 2, move as fast as possible to the leading hill in the southeast. Mata 3, take over the northernmost hill and keep an eye out for movement from the A command base there. Dagger 3, Dagger 4, prepare to take over command base A.”

Ali watched Ats' instructions carefully. He serves as the operator in charge of communication and battle data. A list of people who have been eliminated from both sides.

Two people had been eliminated from the Yildirim Squad. They are Arjuna and Ain who were gunned down at the beginning of the game. As for the Asman Squad, they lost seven people just now. That's a pretty big loss.

"Positively," reported Team Mata 3, "Two enemy vehicles approaching."

"Dagger 3, Dagger 4," called Ats through his telecommunications device, "Destroy the enemy. Surround them from both sides!"

"Understand!" answer Team Dagger 3 and Team Dagger 4 in unison. They followed the direction Ats pointed out. Once the enemy was seen, they immediately launched an attack.

"Five people were eliminated," Ali reported, "Do we still need to take A command base? The enemy has suffered many losses."

"I know," Ats nodded softly, "But we still need it to add points."

"Positive!" exclaimed Team Mata 2, "The enemy is moving in a far south turn. There's about two teams there."

"That means, their command base is already very weak," commented Siver, "Let's destroy them immediately."

"Well, right," Ats agreed with the proposal, "But we must prepare a cannon post on the south side to destroy them. Prepare defenses!"

"We've been ready since, man," Siver sneered faintly, "I've locked the south with field artillery. They'll go straight into the firing range of the cannon if they avoid that attack."

"Good," Ats was happy to hear it, "Destroy them in time."

"Dagger 4, hang in Command Base A. Eye 2, take over Command Base C," exclaimed Ats spirit, "Dagger 1, Dagger 2, Dagger 3, prepare to storm the enemy headquarters."

"Finally," Solar exclaimed happily.

"Don't forget to sabotage the enemy's cannons first" Ali reminded. Solar replied, "We've exterminated them. Just a little more."

"The enemy attack team entered the area" Siver asked permission to fire artillery. As soon as Ats lowered his permission, he immediately pressed a button on his desk. "They're dodging. Good, they're getting into the firing range of the cannon."

"Destroy it!" titah Ats straightforward.

Cannons in the south immediately fired bullets. Ali immediately reported the number of enemies that were eliminated with enthusiasm. This is a very significant development.

“How many enemies left?” ask Ats later.

“Three people in the command base, Ats,” Ali replied with pleasure, “We have already managed to eliminate all their attacking and defensive forces.”

“Good, time to end!” Ats ordered the entire Dagger Team to advance. Their victory was clear in plain sight.
