Not Too Late

Two days passed. Today is the day that Faris will leave for London. True, that man was indeed really going to leave, not just scare Nakuti Aura.

Inside the room, precisely on the balcony of Aura's room, the girl looked dreamy staring blankly at the front and propped her chin with her right hand. Aura's eyes were not moved from the phone that was still in her left hand. Aura repeatedly reread messages sent by Faris that she had received from two hours ago.

"Do you want to take me to the airport?" Ask Faris.

"That's why I said yes Ra. Wait for me to go home" said Faris then walked up the car with his hands still holding Aura's hands. Over time the grip was released.

The car that would deliver Faris to the airport was already moving away from where Aura was standing at the moment. Without Aura noticing, the clear feather had already escaped from her eyelids.

Anita held Aura's shoulder from behind.

"Now we go home, baby" Anita said.

Aura turned her head, without making a sound, the girl obeyed her mother's will to return to the car. Up in the car, Aura still silently watched the streets.

"Do you love Faris?" Ask Anita suddenly.

Aura turned her gaze towards the mother who had given birth to her.

"Why is Mami that?" Ask Aura.
