First Interview

Today was Arul's first interview. Early in the morning he woke up. He was very excited about the interview this time. He hopes to be accepted into the company.

"Tumben clock this time you've woken up Rul?" ask his father

"Yes dong Pak, Arul will leave early in the morning."

The time was still at 03:30 a.m.

Zikri went to wash the rice and cook the rice. At 04:30 am the sound of the dawn call was echoing. Zikri and Arul rushed to fetch water and performed the dawn prayer.

Rice is ripe they buy side dishes to eat it.

"Mother Asih this hour has opened, right sir?"

"Already, usually Bu Asih is open from dawn." replied Zikri

"Let Arul buy his food, sir."

"yes, this is the money" said Zikri while giving 10,000

Arul also eagerly went to buy side dishes to the shop of Ibu Asih.

"Assalamualaikum Ma'am."

"Waalaikumsalam, eh son Arul tumben early in the morning already here?" ask Bu Asih

"Yes Ma'am." replied Arul with a smile

"What do you want to buy?"

"What yes?" said Arul while looking at the food there

"Egg two ma'am, same mendoan tempe."

"Okay ready, I'll wrap it up."

Not long after, Bu Asih also gave her food.

"This is Arul's food."

"Oh, how many ma'am?"

"So 10,000."

"Both ma'am this is the money."

"Thank you, Arul."

"Yes Ma'am together, I say goodbye, Assalamualaikum..."

"Getishalight."

Arul rushed back to the contract.

Arul and his father had breakfast together with the potluck.

After breakfast they left.

They started to step their feet.

"Bismillah son, may all be well."

"Yes sir, Aamiin."

It just so happens that the company where Arul's interview is not too far from his father's workplace.

"Father first, can you go alone?" his father said as he entered the gate of his workplace

"Yes sir, Arul can be alone, Arul said yes sir" he said while kissing his father's hand

"Yes, be careful."

"Assalamualaikum sir."

"Getishalight."

Arul continued his steps back.With his spirit towards the interview place.

After a few minutes, Arul finally arrived at the company where he interviewed.

His heart dag dig dug was mixed happily. He moved his hand which was cold at the time. It turns out that there is not only he himself, it turns out that a lot of the same people will do interviews.

Eventually all the applicants were directed towards the room.

There they do tests, ranging from vision tests, English tests, math tests and so forth.

Everyone is waiting for the results of the test. And one by one the people who managed to enter the test will be mentioned by the officer there. Arul keeps waiting, hoping his name will be on the list.

It is constantly******-***** its hand.once it takes a deep breath. In his heart he kept praying.

Finally in the order of 39 his name was called.

"Alhamdulillah O Allah" said thankfully Arul while rubbing his face with both hands

Then Arul joined the other applicants who passed the test. Arul sat back in the room.

Interviewed by officers there. Arul again waited for his turn.

Second by second, minute by minute, he waited patiently. Until the 45th minute finally called the name Arul by the officer.

Arul immediately stood up from his seat then stepped forward and sat down in front of the officer who was interviewing him.

"On behalf of Arul right?" ask officer

"It's right sir." Arul replied while nodding his head and smiling

"Yes, sir, I'm serious."

"Where do you live here?" ask the officer again

"I live in a rented house, it just so happens that my father also works in the area."

"No vehicle?"

"No sir." replied Arul while shaking his head

"Here the work in the factory and the work is quite heavy the majority here are also men, are you willing?" ask the interviewer to convince Arul

Yes sir, I already know that God willing I will try to learn here, hopefully I can." replied Arul

"Well if so, the results of the test I have seen and the results are good.then the interview is also finished with so I wait tomorrow for training work here."

"So I accepted sir?" ask Arul with sumringah

"You trained for 3 months, after 3 months if you succeed then you will be a contract employee" explained the interviewer

"Okay sir, I'll train as best I can."

"OK, tomorrow enter at 07.00 am yes, wearing a black white uniform, complete shoes and must be neat, including that his hair is tidied up first yes" added Mr. interviewer

"Okay sir, thank you."

"If that's what you can go home."

"Yes sir, excuse me. Assalamualaikum."

"Getishalight."

Arul left the room with joy. Finally he was accepted to work, yes despite being an important factory worker whose work is halal and can ease the burden of his parents.

Arul again swung his steps. He could not wait to tell his father the good news.

As usual Arul always stopped by first to his father's workplace.

From a distance his father had seen Arul.

"Assalamualaikum sir" said Arul while kissing his father's hand

"Waalaikumsalam, how did Rul go?" ask his father impatiently

"Alhamdulillah sir. Arul passed the test, and tomorrow Arul has started training."

"Alhamdulillah."

"But said the interviewer, Arul's hair is less short still messy while tomorrow must be neat."

"That's how it looks, you'll be home from work with you to get a haircut."

"okay sir."

"Have you eaten yet Rul?" ask his father

"Not yet is this man hungry."

"Yes, what are you buying here."

"No ah sir, Arul wants to eat at home later buy his side dish in Bu Asih."

"Yes, this is the money" said Zikri while giving money

"No sir, there's still money you gave me."

"Yes, Arul has come home, sir."

"Here you go home, get some rest."

"yes, sir. Assalamualaikum."

"Getishalight."

Arul went home. Before his Arul bought some side dishes for him to eat later.

He stopped by Bu Asih's shop first.

"Mom, want to buy a side dish" said Arul while calling Bu Asih

"Yes, I can." Bu Asih approached Arul

"Eh, who does Arul want to buy what?"

"that's Ma'am, capcay same vegetable potato, 5000 aja Bu."

"OK ready, by the way son Arul where is it really neat?" ask Bu Asih

"Oh yes ma'am, just finished the interview."

"Oh that, this is the vegetable."

"Oh yes Mom, this is 10,000 money."

"Yes, thank you son."

"Yes Ma'am, you're welcome, excuse me, assalamualaikum."

"Getishalight."

Arul continued his steps to go home.
