Michael shouted loudly when he saw a hand pointing its weapon at Henry from the direction of the second floor, but suddenly heard the sound of gunfire twice. The first shot managed to make the gun that was used to target Henry fell on the floor and the second shot managed to hit the investigator who screamed in pain due to a shot in the thigh.
Henry was immediately on standby when the first shot was heard, his attention immediately turned to the gun that was now lying not far from where he stood after falling from the second floor. He thought there was someone else before he was right.
"Master, be careful, we don't know how many there are" Michael said slowly trying to warn Henry.
"I know Mike, stay alert" Henry replied softly as he pointed to the second floor.
Michael nodded his head slowly, as did the other bodyguards. With Henry slowly walking towards the stairs not far from where he stood, he was eager to go up to the second floor. The gun he held fixed forward, he should not lose focus at all this time. Somehow Henry was very eager to go up to the second floor, even though what he did was very dangerous.
While setting foot on the steps some bodyguards patted Henry on the shoulder slowly, they wanted to walk ahead of Henry.
"Alright but be careful and vigilant" Henry said softly.
"We understand sir," replied the three bodyguards were compact.
Henry smiled softly as he gave Michael the code to walk after him, when they all arrived on the second floor they were immediately presented with a terrible sight. There were four men who fell on the floor with gunshot wounds in several parts of his body.
Slowly Henry reached out his hand to touch the neck of one of the men near his feet.
"Still warm, meaning they really just died" said Henry Lirih.
"That gentlemen ..."
"That's what Mike?" henry asked curiously to cut out Michael's words.
Michael pointed towards the front near the wall where there was a figure of a man dressed in all black who had blonde hair, Henry squinted his eyes at the body. From the pieces of his body Henry was a little familiar with the person who did not see his face, out of curiosity Henry walked slowly closer to the man to see his face. When Henry turned the man's prone body both his eyes wide open.
"D-dmitry Brown!!" screeched Michael loudly, from where he stood he could recognize the figure of the man.
Henry was speechless and said nothing when he saw one of his old friends lying lifeless with gunshot wounds in both eyes, he believes that one small shot that made Dmitry Brown's life drift.Tak long then heard the sound of very noisy footsteps on the first floor, apparently Mr. Kim came with several police. They immediately ran towards the second floor because they saw the figure of Michael standing.
"It seems like someone else has taken care of all this, Mr. Luke," said Mr. Kim slowly.
"It seems so sir," replied Henry softly.
"You're lucky sir, God sent reinforcements for you" said Mr. Kim with a smile as he patted Henry on the shoulder.
Because the case of the shootout was handled by the police, Henry invited Mr. Kim to return to the office of Soo International, he will be questioned as a witness along with Michael and his men. As Henry was about to exit the building that had been given the police line he found a trace of blood that was a little strange, the trail of blood was seen dripping from the window into a street that eventually disappeared. He also found a strand of hair near the trail of blood that was a long, blonde hair.
"I'm sure this is no coincidence, Dmitry Brown is not a man to beat. Only a great man who knew of Dmitry's plan could have failed him in trying to set me up" said Henry, believing Dmitry's goal was himself given how many people had come with Dmitry.
"Breaking tires, empty buildings, away from the crowds.I'm sure Dmitry had this planned from the start, who?"
"I'm sure the guy must have followed Dmitry all the way to the building, all those bullet casings were still warm. Must have been a shootout shortly before I got there,"
Various questions arise in Henry's head, he believes all the events this time is not a coincidence. He believes the person who killed Dmitry is the same person who helped him in the restaurant.
"Who are you .. Why are you helping me? what's your motive" Henry said inwardly, pulling out a hair he had just found in the building.
Various events that befell him for two days in a row convinced Henry that all the events were not a coincidence, he was sure all this must have been planned well by Dmitry. Henry knew Dmitry well.
"If the brain behind this incident is Yamashita Ryuichi then I have to be more careful in the future, fortunately I did not bring Ayara to Busan. What are you doing there, baby, I miss you" said Henry softly as he touched his wedding ring.
"Ohhhhh sick..."
"Please miss boss, we'll be in the hospital soon" said a man wearing a Jocker mask trying to calm down, although actually he was worried when he saw a lot of blood coming out of the arm of the woman who was beside him.
"Truly a bad person, fortunately I acted quickly. If it wasn't possible the bullet would have pierced my heart..."
