Beautiful Villaines

Beautiful Villaines
Chapters 10. Catherine de Jolla's

The Deltora Empire, a region known to be so prosperous with abundant wealth. Genius trade monopolies as well as a strong military force resulted in an edge on the region.

All because of the figure of the Crown Prince as well as the God of War who managed to expand the territory of the many wars that have been won. The figure ...of course is Liam Demente de Dias who is also known as the Prince of Hell.

Despite the various bad rumors circulating, the hating population, and the cruel temperament to every real enemy, but it could not be denied if the Prince had a great contribution in the Empire.

All the news about the Prince of Hell had indeed spread throughout the entire continent. They were even consumed by rumors that said that his face was ugly because of a curse.

And now, inside the Imperial Palace, there is the figure of the Prince who is sucking a cigar while sitting casually in the contest, in a room in the style of a gotic dominated by black and gold.

The room was designed specifically for him. The room that was almost daily was filled with death screams and the servants who were busy clearing the puddles of fresh blood and the bodies of corpses that were strewn on the floor.

It's dark!

Maybe only that impression can describe the figure of the Prince. However, despite having an aura filled with darkness, but he still had something so brightly lit. Yeah, especially if it's not the face? Very handsome and charming Paras. It was the opposite of his gloomy aura.

“Corbis, have you investigated everything?” Liam's low voice made the atmosphere inside the room even more cold.

Corbis, the figure of the great magician who has been given the task to find out all things related to the trauma suffered by Liam is now looking down, paying his respects, “I have got an answer, My Lord.”

In the next second, the man's wrinkled fingers reached into something within the pocket of his white robe then extended it to Liam.

It was a crystal ball the size of a handful of human hands that looked glittering and red in color. A rare sacred object and only kept in a grand temple. It is believed to be the source of answers to all the solutions they have been trying to find.

Liam momentarily stared deeply at the red-colored crystal ball, “Since when has he been red? Wasn't it previously milky-white?”

Corbis nodded, “True, My Lord. The red color on this ball means a plea to the Goddess Hena that I have been saying has got an answer. And, a symbol seen in it is a symbol that will come gradually, forming an answer that will be perfectly arranged.”

Liam frowned with a blue netra fixed to the symbol that Corbis said. Yes, on the inside of the ball there is indeed a symbol that looks faint—round with the land of the cross that goes south. “So, what does that symbol mean?” he asked with an unbroken blue netra to the crystal ball before him.

“According to the ledger, the symbol that is inside the sphere today is the Symbol of Venus that symbolizes the female gender. That was the first clue we got.” Corbis explained with a serious face.

Liam raised next to an eyebrow and looked at Corbis full of question marks, “Does it have anything to do with that strange woman? The woman who didn't trauma me when she touched him,” she said was talking about Roxana.

“I think it's true. It looks like this symbol does have something to do with Lady Roxana. I'm guessing if that Lady could have been the key to healing your trauma and curse.”

“Then do you have any plans for that woman? Just kill it if you want to use it as an experiment.” Liam flat-faced, without the slightest change in his face. It could be that he considers human life as the life of a frog or mouse that is suitable to be used as an object of biological research.

Corbis. The prince before him was currently very fond of killing human lives, but as a great magician as well as the leader of the magic tower he could not possibly use human lives as a guinea pig. “We cannot recklessly kill a noble girl, My Lord. Duke Shancez is a pretty influential Prime Minister.”

“Hm, then what's your plan?” Liam shrugged his shoulders indifferently.

“It's a good step if we let him stay alive to keep investigating. And, even better if you ...” Corbis seemed hesitant to continue his sentence.

Liam just stared at Corbis with a flat face.

Corbis who was stared fixedly by the Prince immediately shuddered in horror and inevitably continued his sentence, “I think, it would be nice if you were near the Lady, My Lord.”

A squeaky look on Liam's forehead, “You told me to approach that strange woman? Are you asking to be killed right now?” his growl was a little surprised by the crazy idea that the old witch had just thrown before him.

“I mean, so that we more easily observe any reactions from your trauma if it comes into contact with that Lady. On the other hand, I will continue to pray to Goddess Hena and wait for other symbols to appear to answer everything that happens to you.” Hurriedly Corbis corrected his sentence before the Prince's mood worsened. He did not want his eyes to meet the eyes on his head.

There was silence for a moment.

Liam inhaled deeply his cigar trunk then exhaled it slowly, “Then has there been any suspicious movement from him lately?”

“So far there are no visible irregularities, My Lord. And, this winter it is likely that he has returned to the academy.”

Liam again frowned both eyebrows, looking a little curious.

Corbis who can catch the curious look on the Prince's face then re-opens the voice, “Hoover Academy. She is also a witch and this year is her second year.”

Liam again inhaled the cigar, enjoying the sensation of tobacco that made him calm from the heat of wanting to kill who continued to gnaw his mind and ensnare him like a whisper of the devil. In the next second, a sloping grin slipped on the corner of the Prince's lips, “Hoover Academy .. looks like it will be quite interesting.”

“Felix, is Hoover far enough from here?” Roxa asked Felix as they both got off the train.

“Not far. We only need to walk for about fifteen minutes and pass through a narrow alley,” Felix replied as he walked in front of Roxa.

Frenetic residents at the station accompanied by black smoke billowing over the train chimney became a classic sight that occurs today. They both passed through the crowd passing by and out of the station.

BRUKE!

Roxa unknowingly banged Felix's burly back from busy daydreaming, “Ah, sorry!”

“No problem.” Felix smiled.

“I'm a little nervous thinking about when we get to Hoover. You know ‘kan if I'm losing my memory? I'm afraid to make a mistake,” I'm Roxa while smiling clumsyly with a step back to walk.

“Have you forgotten my existence? Calm down because everything will be fine.”

“Yes, I hope so.”

Well, Hoover is a magic academy commonly entered by descendants of nobles or members of the royal family. However, after entering that academy, all disciples would be treated the same. In a sense, all castes would be equal. Whether Duke, Marquess, Count, Viscount, to Baron—all the same.

After walking through the snowy streets for about fifteen minutes, Roxa and Felix are now standing right in front of a towering castle. Roxa's plump eyelashes gnawed while staring at the building that made her so amazed. A building that is so similar to the castle in the fairyland.

“We'll be in soon.” Felix drives and is followed by Roxa with a nod.

Entering the spacious Hoover hall, Roxa is greeted with candlelight hanging on a triple-branched and golden-coloured candlestick, high-art sculptures, as well as a thick architecture in Ancient Roman style.

A variety of large banners were also seen sticking to the wall and read WELCOME TO HOOVER SCHOOL, HOOVER IS GOOD, WE ARE ALL FAMILY, HE SAID, and various other happy slogans used to welcome new students as well as new teaching semesters.

After going deeper, Roxa looked at the students in academy uniforms who passed by excitedly. They look enthusiastic and full of enthusiasm when gathering with friends who are missed. Whereas in the crowd of those disciples, only Roxa who looked like a sprig of spinach was walking because of the bottle green robe she was wearing.

“Looks like we have to part here.” Felix suddenly stopped in a passageway of a castle junction.

“Hah?” Roxa looked confused.

“You should rest in the ladies dormitory. Hm, or do you keep wanting to be with me?” Felix glancing jokes.

“Do not joke. Where should I go?”

“There, at each door is written the name of each student and you just look for your name there.” Felix pointed at the hallway to the right, “And over there is the male hostel. You can find me there if you need me,” he added which of course points to the left aisle.

“Ah, okay. Thank you, Felix.” Roxa nodded and forced a smile. He felt so nervous.

Just natural! Being in a foreign place with no one to identify definitely feels very uncomfortable. Moreover, right now Roxa was looking at the disciples who were blatantly staring at her as they walked.

Not only that! They also whispered to the neighbors and still stole a glance at him. It was very clear what they were doing right now, which was gossiping ria. Knowing their dislike, Roxa suddenly felt like a real antagonist. Is this how Roxana Adelaide is treated?

“I'll be waiting for you at the orientation event tomorrow.” Felix said with a smile. “Do not be nervous because there is me, your friend.” Clenched one hand with a cheerful face. The handsome young man tried to calm his best friend who looked nervous.

“Yes, see you. I went.” Roxa nodded then turned around and completely galloped away.

Sighing deeply, Roxa tried to shake off the nervousness. He now walks down the hallway shown by Felix. His head circled and his emerald netra went around, looking for the inscription of his name on every door of the room he passed.

Roxa also passed by several groups of female disciples who were crowding. Again and again it was obvious if they were busy talking about it in the back.

‘Ck! What exactly has Roxana done? Even though I was just silent, but they saw me like an evil witch,’ her mind regardless of their dislike gaze and kept going.

However, a shrill voice suddenly sounded calling him from behind, “Roxa!”

Turning around, Roxa's netra emerald is now turning to the figure of a very beautiful white-dressed girl. With a petite body, golden blonde hair, and an adorable face, the girl ran towards him.

“It turns out you're cured. Uh! I'm so happy.” The girl suddenly hugged Roxa tightly while rubbing her head like an adorable cat.

While Roxa who was suddenly hugged just peeked in place, not moving in the slightest, “Sorry, do we know each other?” because they do not know who the adorable little girl is.

The girl's caramel eyeballs were instantly rounded equipped with vibrating pupils. Suddenly her beautiful eyes glazed over. “Roxa, don't you know me? You really forgot me? I'm Catherine. Catherine de Jolla, your best friend.”
