Bai Qingqing looked at the waterfall quietly for a moment. Seeing that Cortis did not return, he quickly stepped aside.

If he won't escape now, then when?

Cortis turned his upper body into a human form as he wrapped around Bai Qingqing to deal with her. With red lips that look like there is lipstick, she said in a cold voice, “You will not be able to escape.”

Blood drained from Bai Qingqing's face, her big, clear eyes filled with despair as she stared at Cortis.

Maybe he'll only be free of all this if he dies.

The air was filled with the sweet scent of blood. Cortis flicked his tongue, suddenly looking panicked. He directly hugged Bai Qingqing in his chest.

You injured? Cortis sounded extremely anxious, as if the cold-blooded person earlier was someone else.

Bai Qingqing was puzzled by Cortis' sudden change. Only when she lifted her leg to check on her wound did she come to a realization from a daze and hurriedly lowered her skirt.
