"Your husband has been arrested by the police" Yuxian replied without turning to Melissa.

"Did Gege report it?"

"Of course, I want him to be punished for what he has done to you. I'm not gonna let him get away from me!" timpal Yuxian with ketus.

"Calm down, there's no need to be this angry. I'm fine, this time I'll forgive him. I'll give him a second chance to right his wrongs,"

"What!" Yuxian was shocked to hear Melissa's words.

"Are you out of your mind, Mel? I don't agree if you forgive her and give her this easy chance!" reject Yuxian.

"What's wrong with forgiving someone and giving them a second chance? God alone is ever forgiving my time as a people can not forgive?" Melissa smiled at Yuxian.

"As far as you are! But, if he hurts you and cheats again, I won't help you anymore!" Yuxian got up from her seat and left Melissa.

Melissa just smiled at the passing of her best friend. He knew that Yuxian was sulking. 'Forgive me, Ge. I'll tell you later. I'm not a stupid woman to give her a second chance. I just want to play with him. It doesn't feel good if I divorce her so easily without giving her the pain I've been through all this time.'

Suddenly Dr. Luciano went into the IGD room. "How are you, Author MJ cute," chuckled Dr. Lucian.

"Dr. Luci," call Melissa.

Luciano was sitting next to Melissa's bed. For a moment he stared fixedly at Melissa's face. He noticed the wounds he had already treated.

"Mel," call Dr. Lucian.

"Hm." Melissa looked into the man's eyes.

"What's going on? How could you be so badly hurt like this? Is this your husband?" guess the handsome guy.

Melissa remained silent. He is unlikely to say if Dr. Luciano is right. However, seeing Melissa silently silent like this made Dr. Luciano's increasingly convinced that his guess is correct.

"Forgive that, Dr. Luci. Oh yeah, what's taking care of my wound is Dr. Luci?" instead of answering, Melissa asked.

Dr. Luciano smile. "Yes, I handle you. You're finally my patient, too" chuckled Dr. Lucian.

"Mel, how do you feel now? Does the wound still hurt?"

"Yes, it hurts a little."

"In a moment, you'll be transferred to the ICU and for a few days you won't be allowed to go home, because your wounds must always be checked."

"I'm a little relieved to hear it, because I'm still a little scared to go home." Melissa smiled a little.

"So it's true what I thought, the one who did this was your husband. Mel, does your husband always torture like this?" ask Dr. Lucian.

"Eumm .. This is the first time he's tortured me. He came home drunk. She was a little creepy and tortured me as soon as she found out that I already knew about her affair. Yeah, maybe he's like this because of the influence of alcohol. I'll try to forgive him" explained Melissa.

"It's a pity that a wife as good and sincere as you gets this kind of harsh treatment. How lucky your husband is to have a wife like you. Hopefully with this incident your husband regrets his actions and wants to correct his mistakes. I can only pray for you the best" said softly Dr. Lucian.

"Get me out of here! I'm not guilty!" Danny screamed and hit the bars.

Danny is currently under arrest and the KDRT case he committed to his wife. Police are still investigating the case. "Shut up! Don't make a fuss!" the policeman sitting at his desk.

"But I am innocent! I did it unconsciously. I'm under the influence of alcohol,"

"Shut up!" The policeman kicked the table hard.

Danny was instantly silent, he sat down with his own head banging. He's really frustrated. He did not expect, if his actions would cross the line like today and end up in prison. "Brother Danny, someone wants to see you" said a policeman who suddenly came to Danny.

Danny stood up and his face shone a little. He was sure that the one who met him was Jubilee's mistress. However, once he reached the besuk room he was quite surprised because his conjecture was wrong.

The one who met him was none other than Yuxian, Melissa's best friend. Yuxian sat down with the glare of her sharp eyes towards Danny. Danny sat in the chair.

"Well, what else did you find me? Not satisfied that my jeblosin has gone to jail?!'' danny asked with emotion.

Yuxian smiled wryly. "Gue wasn't satisfied before I saw you suffer. I'll make sure that I'm going to make you as miserable as possible. You have the courage to test my patience! Look what I can do!" Yuxian stood up and brought his face closer to Danny.

Yuxian's red face was extinguished holding back the growing anger. Both of his hands clenched tightly until it was clearly visible. "Oh yeah? But, I'm not afraid of your threats!" Danny smiled cunningly.

"Gue's gonna take Melissa out of your life, I'm not gonna let Melissa come back! Before I unplug, there's someone who wants to meet you!" yuxian whispered in Danny's ear.

Then Yuxian got up from his seat and left. As soon as Yuxian came out, two people who were none other than Melissa's parents came in. Danny was shocked to see his father-in-law coming.

'How did they know? Aw, ****! This must be the Chinese guy!'

"Mother, Father," called Danny as he stood up to welcome his father-in-law.

Dominic still looks relaxed, different from Cassie. Cassie shows her anger as Melissa's mother. With a quick gesture, Cassie walked up to Danny and slapped him with a loud bang.

The slap was right about the left cheek. Danny was surprised not to play when his mother-in-law slapped so violently. His eyes glazed over while holding his left cheek. The heat and pain he felt on his face.

"This isn't how Danny! Than my daughter feels because of the violence you've committed! How dare you hurt our beloved daughter! We are not people but our daughter does not deserve to be treated that way! What kind of husband are you! Melissa never even got a snapshot let alone a slap from us but, you!" Cassie pointed at Danny's face with eyes of hatred.

"You who are only her husband can hurt our daughter in such a way that you torture her! Where is your conscience? Remember that! You have a little sister, imagine if your little sister treated her husband like this! What are you feeling?" check Cassie with dripping tears.

"If it wasn't for Yuxian, we would never have known this bad news. We regret having blessed your relationship. Melissa should have married a better man than you. You remember well! Starting today, don't ever see Melissa. Melissa's going back to my house. We'll be taking care of your divorce papers soon!" dominic continued with eyes full of disappointment and hatred.

Hearing all that, Danny cried as if he regretted his actions. He squashed at the feet of both of Melissa's parents. "I'm sorry Danny. I didn't mean to torture Melissa, I was under the influence of alcohol. I'm really sorry, I'll take the punishment but please, don't separate me from Mel, I still love him so much. I don't want to lose Mel" Danny cried holding both of his in-laws' legs.
