4. Misunderstand
Word of Catharina's servant's punishment reached the ears of all the people in the palace. And they all talked about how cruel Empress Ellena was. Not only inside the palace, news of Ellena's cruelty reached outside the palace so that now no one dared to underestimate Ellena.
Hearing the news of the Empress's cruelty made Winter quite surprised. He himself did not expect, Ellena would act that brave. Previously, Ellena seemed unable to hit a fly.
Winter's office door was knocked from the outside. Catharina told him about her arrival at Winter. Hearing Catharina's voice, Winter's forehead instantly shriveled. Winter looked at Catharina, "You don't want to ask the Empress directly? Didn't you say you were begging to ease your servant's punishment?" ask Winter.
Catharina surprised. He silently looked down. Ellena looked at Winter and asked, What does Winter mean? Winter replies, if Catharina comes to him and asks him to persuade Ellena to ease the punishment for her servant. Winter explained in accordance with his words conveyed to Catharina earlier.
Ellena looked at Catharina, "What do you mean, Lady Rosaro? do you really want to challenge my authority? or ... Do you want to complain to His Majesty the Emperor?" ask Ellena.
Catharina was startled, "Bu-not like that, Your Majesty. Sa-I just feel like the punishment you're giving is excessive. Don't you have a compassionate and loving heart? aren't you too cruel not to feed and drink to her for three days?" answer Catharina.
Ellena smiled, "Do I need to bestow your servant's punishment on you, Lady? You take your servant's actions for granted, apparently.
